Disappointed~ I've been back but note: I got a pizza to go this time but this pizza does not do well & not meant to go home! It will become a soggy goo!!! Realized this pizza is meant to eaten there as the crust is thin & soaks up everything. I'll try another pizza place. Besides toppings I enjoy a good crust too! Grabbing a slice, holding a slice, picking up a slice won't happen with take out. A slice of pizza is more like a soggy mess that requires a spoon! Again via pizza crust with take out will be total goo & barely attainable dry crust so pick off toppings used a fork. Disgusting & gross! The misconception pretty disgusting "toppings are this pizza" the thin crust is just lining to hold, measure & soak up toppings. Literally just coagulated cheese with toppings in the mix & a thin line layer which can't measure up. It's a mess to pick it up with take out. Will try a few other places next. Sorry! This place is awesome!! First, the place is clean and the employees were so friendly. That is a really big thumbs up! Second, the price was a little high but well worrh it. I got to create a pizza with all the toppings I wanted. That only was great, since my kids and husband only like certain things on their pizza. First time eating at MOD Pizza yesterday. Ordered a Mod 11" pizza. The pizza was delicious! I like that I can customize the pizza from start to finish to exactly what I want. Love the thin crust; it wasn't soggy at all. Next time I will ask them to make the crust a bit crunchier. Pizza was not overly greasy, unlike traditional pizza. I went before the grand opening while they were doing the training for employees. Pizza could have used a little more sauce, but service was good. It's always nice when employees make you feel welcome. I'll definitely be back for more. It can only get better from here. read more

Love the concept of your getting pizza doing it subway style. Atmosphere is great and awesome staff. I had 6" thin crust creamy cheese sauce with pesto, ham, meatballs,pepperoni, salami, Canadian bacon, reg bacon, chicken, basically I got every meat except anchovies. Then choose your veggies...i for sauteed mushrooms fresh mushrooms , pickled artichoke, broccoli, some other veggies I forgot. Then several different shredded fresh cheeses. Let me be the first to say that I love MOD pizza. My husband and I used to come to this location weekly to get our fix. The ingredients are fresh, the selection is wide, and the pizza is always delicious. We especially love getting ranch to dip our pizza in. However, we noticed that about a year ago the employees have become increasingly stingy with the amount of toppings. I believe this is due to new management but I may be wrong. We ate here yesterday and were sorely disappointed by the lack of toppings, even when we asked for more. We asked the manager for ranch dipping sauce and he gave us one cup for both my husband's mega pizza and my mini pizza. We said ok can I have one too?? And he game me the saddest little cup that wasn't even half full of ranch. Let me reiterating that we love this place but have become disenchanted with the attitude of the employees and manager when we kindly ask for more toppings and ranch. read more

The pizza was good but I was very disappointed because they did not have sun-dried tomatoes. The staff was not familiar with the menu and did not really know what they were doing. I've been to several locations and this one is the most family oriented and friendly BY FAR! They even have ties with the community- they even have a Galveston county food bank donation bin in the store for customers to donate food to. We loved other locations in Austin and we're excited to try this one. My girlfriend has both a gluten allergy as well as a dairy allergy, but the staff were beyond prepared and excited to help her out, even changing their gloves. This was such an easy experience for us and the staff were so accommodating. We live in Galveston but will come back for the pizza without a doubt. I hope the higher ups can read this because this staff deserve to hear how great they were and how happy they made someone that struggles to find not only a place she can eat but also a staff that doesn't make her feel like a nuisance. Took me a while but I finally had a chance to try MOD Pizza. Very friendly greeting and asked if I had been there and then explained how it worked. Got there just ahead of the lunch crowd. I chose the min pizza and the Sophie looked interesting to me. They were very efficient and it was ready in no time. I like "thin" crust and it was crispy like a cracker. First I will say this, I love the brand and I love the product. Regardless of these two things I will be taking a break from this location for a while. I visited this location today with my children. The pizza making was sloppy at best. My son's pizza had two spots that had no sauce or toppings. We have never had this happen before so it was a bit surprising. The Coke and Dr Pepper was out of syrup, when I ask the girl behind the counter she huffed and rolled her eyes and kept working. I totally get that they were busy. I asked again and the girl I spoke with didn't make eye contact and said would tell someone. Soooo with a to go order we walked out without drinks that were paid for even after I told the girl at the register. Food is great, service needs some serious work. ALLERGY PIZZAS..... went in as a family this past week end, like we do every weekend, and explained we had two allergy pizzas. The first one was dairy free and very sensitive, the second was gluten free and not so sensitive, so no need to change gloves between the two. The lady taking the order told everyone to change their gloves for the dairy free pizza. And they all did. Ok... great. Then the second lady put cheese on the gluten free and the third pizza (non allergy), in doing so, she splattered cheese on the non dairy pizza paper. I asked her to clean it off and she did. Then asked me what toppings I wanted on the non dairy pizza. I told her that the allergy is severe and she needed to please change her gloves. She was annoyed, not that I care, this is for my kids. We put topping on it and we move down to put the cheese on the non dairy pizza. She pulled the non dairy cheese out, that they store in the fridge under the cheese line. Needless to say, the cheese has fallen through the cracks and is on top of the non dairy cheese container. Normally I just would not go back, but this is the only place that my kids can actually eat. It is so important to be trained in allergies especially if you are priding yourself on these options. It is not a choice for so many people and we are always willing to pay extra for it. read more
