Okay so I've never been to MOD pizza, but I seen they had cauliflower crust so I said it's a must to try, we all ordered something different. I've been coming to MOD for as long as I can remember, and it's still my favorite pizza place not just in Redlands, but in general. The employees are always super friendly, and every visit has been a great experience, which is why I'm giving it 5 stars. The only thing I wanted to mention is the new menu. It's definitely different, and I found it a little confusing at first. I miss the old name sizing because it made ordering a lot easier, and some of the OG pizzas, like the Dillon James, aren't on there anymore. This will unfortunately be my last visit to the Redlands location. Unfortunately the woman I made an original complaint about was there again, and like last time cannot help herself but create a negative hostile environment and experience for guests. I remained polite and thankful to the workers helping me personally. However my experience has to end with people from my party hearing the black female or male employee yell about me the second I left the door. Why that worker cannot keep their comments to themselves I am unsure. This is difficult. My wife and I ordered a delivery - pizza, salad, drink. It was delivered and the food is delicious. BUT, BUT, BUT...no plasticware. When I called to ask why we didn't get a fork or anything we were told it wasn't on the order. Apparently you have to order a fork! When she took my pizza out and cut it and put in the box she started to talk about how good it looked right over my pizza. We have been here to many times to recall now. But what I will say is every time I go it always good food and good service. The only down side is the wait time some nights. One night, even in a Tuesday the end of the line was at the door and they only had one person behind there counter making the pizzas and salad, when I saw several others back there just "wiping" down the counter and socializing and laughing. It's interesting to visit their about us page. True to its service mission, our order was processed very quickly. The staff was quick and efficient. We just beat the lunch-time rush and were glad; it appears this place can get quite busy. It is located in the center of Mountain Plaza shopping center, so anticipate that parking will be a battle as well as the better outdoor patio dining tables. We started with the Italian Chopped salad, which you can see in my pic that all the ingredients are fresh. It had a nice mix of greens with salami and parmesan cheese. The salami was the thick cut version and had a mild flavor. We ordered the zesty roma dressing on the side - there is enough flavors in the dressing that it could be used sparingly. The dressing had plenty of flavor but wasn't that zesty. Overall, it was the right proportions of ingredients. The Mad Dog pizza wasn't so mad. The crust is very thin, and when hot, it's best to eat with a fork since the crust isn't thick enough to hold up. But once the pizza starts to cool you can fold it in half and it's very easy to eat. The cheese is nice and gooey, the sausage and pepperoni were plentiful and flavorful. The description says its mild sausage; I found this to be understated, there is plenty of flavor and the right amount of heat. These items appear to be pre-portioned and cooked. Overall, it was a good pizza. We really enjoyed the outdoor dining area. The water feature/brook created the right amount of white noise to partially offset the shopping noise.
