Great pizzas and salads. Nice and friendly customer service. While I do come here often 2x a month I have noticed the restaurant on the inside is getting very grimy. Bathrooms are dirty and the soda lids dispenser is gross with caked crumbs and who knows what else. The restaurant needs a good deep cleaning. This is probably one of the worst Mod locations in the area. I don't even go there anymore because it's so awful. The last time I went was April 2025 and I just wanted to see how much they raised their prices and the exact same pizza has gone up almost $3 and I'm sure it's just as terrible. I would always order online just to speed up the process and also to get bonus points. The points never seemed to add up and miraculously they expire almost immediately and, shocker, the pizza is never ready. I've even gone in 5 to 10 minutes after being notified of the time for pick up and I'm told that they are just making it. After the second time, I said something, and I asked them what the point of online ordering is, and they all looked at me like I was an alien. None of them look like they wanna be there. The place is always a mess. They always say that they are busy and yet there's nobody in the restaurant and there's nobody in line so unless they have a mass order for food delivery or online, it's just an excuse. As far as quality, the pizza is either burnt beyond recognition or still raw. Now that Domino's is here, I can get a large pizza with the same amount of toppings for less money. It's only because I like MOD in general that I'm rating it 2 star. I've been to this location twice.. the first time nobody was in there but me and my wife were ignored for about a minute before we walked out without even being looked at. The second time (the most recent), the dude that helped me made it clear he didn't even want to be there. He put a pile of cheese in the center of the pizza, no need to spread it out. When I said I wanted pepperoni he added about 5 slices, I had to ask for more. He added maybe another 5. Everything about this location screams "I don't care about you!!! Why are you even here?!?!". I'm not sure how this location is still in business. There is never any customers in there, and they make it known to you immediately that they prefer it that way. The two gals who helped me today was super friendly and epitome of customer service. I had ordered 2 custom Mods, and while waiting they apparently had been overcooked. And truly when she showed them to me they looked absolutely fine, my husband even questioned them being considered "burned." I get it though, they have a brand image to upkeep and they were great stewards of those standards. The gal who built my pizzas ensured I had freshly made ones that met y'all's standards and she went so far as to give me a free pizza redemption card despite my protesting. The way I saw it, things happen and she caught what was perceived as a mistake before I even knew it was a thing. Terrible experience! Ordered our two pizzas an hour and a half early. My husband arrived to pick up the pizza and they said they only had one done. So they made another one while he waited. Mod makes pizza eating so simple. We came in and the crew gave us a very cheery "Welcome!". We worked our way through the topping selection quickly. I'm so glad Mod doesn't skimp. When you ask for extra cheese, you get extra cheese. We got three pizzas. Each is a perfect size for one person. We are two of them while we were there and brought one home. At one point every employee was just standing around on their phone, playing with their hair and chit chatting amongst each other, while there was pizzas prepped on the rack to go in the oven (which only had 1 pizza in the oven at the time. I wouldn't care so much, but the point of MOD is suppose to be quick and when you get a pick up time, get there and the pizzas haven't even been made it's frustrating. Quality is very inconsistent. Not worth the money. Out of the dozen times I've ordered here over the past 2 years, the quality ranges drastically. I've probably have had 2 decent quality pizzas. The pizza is either extremely burnt or under cooked. Sometimes there is an adequate amount of toppings, other times there's barely any. For example, I just order a simple pepperoni ande cheese pizza. For $18 you'd expect more than 2 pepperoni's on each slice of pizza... not 2 max. Some pieces only have one pepperoni. read more

Fast pizza and good times at Ridgefield's Mod Pizza was a satisfying quick lunch. It's not the best pizza, but it was loaded with unlimited toppings and baked quicker that it'll take me to draft this review. Besides, all I need are some tasty slices, a cool buzz, and I'm fine. A Mega Pizza is the "thick" version of Mod Pizza. I'm glad because "mega" solved the "soggy-in-the-middle" problem I'd experienced at other Mod Pizza locations. Basically, A "mega" is just double the regular crust which made it twice as chewy without any of the sogginess. My wife went with a class "thin" mod and it turned out great, too. So, clearly this Mod Pizza location has honed their Pizza bakin' skills. Four stars for the pizzas and sticking to the motto, "I shall serve no pies before their time." We sat on the shaded patio with a couple trips inside for free diet soda refills. The pizza was super filling, so, I ended up taking a chocolate No Name Cake (aka Ding Dong) home for dessert. Absolutely the worst service at any restaurant and a disgrace to Mod Pizza's brand. We arrived in the store at 8:30 and they were putting away the food in preparation for close at 10 PM. There were four employees. One dour, disgruntled woman was sour faced while putting away the food. two others were standing around while there was one poor guy making pizzas for people. Not really happy. Brought one of the pizzas back, because the ingredients were pretty much just thrown on. I asked the gentleman handling take out, if this how the pizza is supposed to look. I have a love hate relationship with mod. This location specifically is very hit or miss. If you order online during a time when they're busy, don't expect your pizza to be done anywhere near the estimated time. It MAY be done on time, but don't expect it to be so you won't possibly be disappointed. I've had it take 45 minutes longer than the estimated time. At that point, you may as well just show up and go inside to order because you'll get served way faster. There is one worker here who is very skimpy on toppings even when you ask multiple times for extra, and she tends to put the only toppings she does put on, all in the middle. To say I've gotten home and looked at the pizza with shock on my face due to the lack of any toppings or how wacky it looks, is not a stretch. Entire large sections without sauce. All the toppings in a pile in the middle. Toppings missing altogether. A completely different and random type of cheese in blobs. Etc But... maybe half the time or so, everything is great. I won't order online at this location anymore to avoid disappointment. I will add that we don't usually eat in here due to the tables rarely being clean. The bathrooms are clean though. I have loved Mod Pizza for a long time. The workers are always so friendly!! The past few times and at this location specifically, I have had things missing on pizzas and details not considered. It's very frustrating. Today I just got a regular ole pepperoni and black olive pizza with some salt and pepper, and the olives were missing. The last time I had this happen, I had two pizzas. One had two items missing. It's just unfortunate. I feel like if I had many items on my pizza and one thing was missed, that still would be unfortunate but its a lot to follow. But I only got and only ever get 2 items on my pizza. It just goes back to making sure every detail is considered when making food for customers!:( read more

I go in, proceed to the area designated for online pickup and stand in front of an employee who NEVER acknowledges me.Not a, "hello" or "be right with you" zip. This was a new quick pizza spot I was looking forward to but I'm somewhat disappointed about. The service is good, everyone is very friendly and it's a brand new spot but the pizzas are just very plain tasting. I've tried to create my own, I've ordered from their menu twice and every time it's just kind of blah. I don't know if it's the crust or the sauce but it's just mediocre pizza. This is probably a great spot for families with kids or if you are desperate for a quick pizza but bear in mind it's just ok. I do recommend ordering the thicker crust too bc the original crust is like a cracker. The prices are good too I will say. read more

Dear me, the staff is poor at service. Uncoordinated. And the AC blasted all the tables. It is cold outside, yet feels as cold or colder inside. Asked for the AC turned off or the heat turned on. They pretended to, but didn't. We are shivering, and the Woke-staff doesn't care. They work by the oven. Customers can stick it. They don't care. And as to the food, the crust didn't rise. Internet order and showed 25 minutes after putting order in. Waited over 30 minutes when I got there to find out they didn't have the my pizzas ready. Three of the four were sitting out getting cold. Watched a half dozen, at least, people walk in, order, get their pizzas and leave. Finally asked where mine was and found out they lost my fourth pizza and were "remaking it" according to Nathan the "manager". I told him My pizzas were just sitting out getting cold and he disagreed. He immediately went to the "ill refund you if you want" card. Obviously, he didn't care. He kept blaming things on how busy they were. Really didn't look busy to me. I go to Mods all over the country and all can handle busy except this location. The Portland airport is always slammed and they half the employees working and they can handle it. Give me a break. Felt he shouldn't use the "we're busy" excuse and he snapped back "thanks for telling how to do my job". Crap management skills Nathan. He "refunded" me and didn't and wouldn't give me a receipt for my refund. Let's see how that works for me. Terrible and disappointed. Update: Saying he gave me my refund and getting my refund are two different things I guess. Credit card statement came and guess what??? No refund issued. Don't ever call in your order. This is twice I've called my order in for pickup and have had to sit there and wait b 1/2 and hour to 45 minutes for my pizza once I got in the restaurant. Watching the 20 people in line who ordered after I got there and them all getting their pizzas before me.
