Ridiculous. Credit cards were initially accepted by businesses to make it easier for customers to pay to increase business.

Papa Pete's has always been a family favorite but this most recent trip will be our last. First off, there are passive aggressive signs directed at customers ....everywhere. It's like they are mad the customer is in their restaurant and they are telling the customers that through each of their signs posted all over the restaurant. I didn't take pics of them because I got more distracted by the two I did post below. Their pizza is good but it is very expensive. Like 35.00 for a medium meat pizza expensive. Fine we know that and make it a treat. But! They now charge for the fricking box they put it in - we ordered for carry out- how else are we supposed to take it with us??? Then they charge 3 percent to pay!! I hate being nickeled and dimed. Credit cards are meant to be an easy way for your customer to pay for your service. To charge a fee is like being pissed that someone is paying for your product. The vibe in here is all wrong. There was N employee folding pizza boxes at the counter who ignored a line of customers. I simply needed to pick my pizza up yet he wouldn't stop folding boxes and ignored me until another employee finally came from the back to help. Just overall terrible customer service. Good knowing ya, Papa Pete.

The pizza is OK, very family friendly would come here for kids's birthday. The service is a little slow. The pizza would be just like you'd expect in the early days.

    Dried out burnt pizza

Went for lunch. Ordered one pizza and drinks. Went to play games. Came back out 30 minutes later and asked the staff on the floor if our name had been called. She stated no. Waited another 30 minutes and our name was called. Was told by the girl behind the counter she tried calling our name a while ago. Was given a dried out burnt pizza that I'm assuming was under a hot lamp for at least 30 minutes. Told the girl at the counter the other girl had said our name hadn't been called. Blank stare. Didn't offer an apology or even plates. $40 dollars for pizza and drinks, $8 dollar tip and $20 dollars on games. Very disappointing and won't be returning. Spend your money where you are treated right!

1st time there. we arrived at 805 so we had enough time to eat there. they told us we couldn't because they close there diner at 830. n was kinda rude about . I asked well it's not 830 , she informed they stop orders at 8. I was like it's 5 min after n you won't let us ear here. on top of that one pizza that was only cheese was only half cheese on it . the pizza was wrong toppings I said to not have on it. I called n talked to gen manager. and boy was she rude. I was told she has to talk to the cooperate office n get back to me. wow! I guess last time going there. I'll juts call my credit card company! I don't need there attitude or pizza! rude on top of bad quality n not wanting to make it right either.

The pizza looks okey! But end up being horrible! I could not get past the second slice! And I'm fighting to hold it down!

Inside its spread out, so even if it were busy, I don't think it would be overly loud. We arrived on Sunday just as they were switching from brunch to lunch and were promptly seated. Our waitress was attentive throughout our time there and explained their daily specials. Our table all opted for the daily special, which was a smash burger with fries for $10. I inquired if I could sub out for a veggie patty and the waitress said it was not an issue. Our food arrived within 15 minutes and everyone enjoyed the burgers. They were all topped with a delicious deep fried pickle chip, however I do wish they would have put actual pickles on the burgers. Otherwise, they were delicious! The veggie burger appeared to be homemade or at least higher quality as you could see the oats in the patty. The beef burgers were all thinly smashed and had the crispy edges you expect from a smash burger. Although they have a full bar, none of our table opted for a cocktail. This is definitely a good spot for a family meal or a brunch with friends.

It was big, flavorful, and definitely hit the spot. The chicken wings, however, were a bit of a letdown. They tasted dry and didn't seem very fresh. Firstly, I want to preface this by saying the one waitress they have tending the bar, tables, and everything else is amazing. She should not be doing all that on her own, and that's a lack of planning allowing that. She's friendly, helpful, and does what she can, but she's only one person. Secondly, the food is often way too oily. This can range from the appetizers, to some of the sandwiches/burgers, and even veggies. Lastly, I used to love coming here for the salads. They were fresh, large/filling, and full of toppings. Now? A $25+ salad with some added protein comes in a regular sized salad bowl you'd have in your home which is seemingly new with the recent change in management. Definitely not worth the price. I don't say all this to disparage the restaurant or employees. I want this place to succeed because I like the location, and think it's a fun spot to frequent. Changes are needed though if they're going to continue to charge the amount of money for the lengthy waits, and quality/quantity of the food being served.

Friendly folks and a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere were what I first noticed. Every breakfast option seemed very positive making the decision difficult. I ended up choosing the brisket hash and I think I chose well. This humongous plate includes perfectly prepared breakfast potatoes, with generous chunks of forktender brisket interspersed throughout, then two eggs, and finally a magnificent sausage gravy over the top. It was glorious. The potatoes have a candied Anaheim chili, which I really enjoyed, and in retrospect would like to have had even more of the chili, but this was a great enhancement. My breakfast companion had the buttermilk pancakes, which included three large, delicious, buttermilk pancakes, a berry compote, two eggs and bacon. Very tasty pancakes (I'm very fussy about buttermilk pancakes because I make them well myself so I can sometimes be critical of others.) All positive critique for these cakes! The coffee was very good and they did a good job of keeping our cups filled. We were there on a Sunday morning at opening time and I was concerned that it might get very busy, but it wasn't too bad at all. Not overly loud so it was great to be able to conduct a conversation and enjoy our breakfast. My companion is a cinnamon roll connoisseur, but since neither of us could even come close to finishing our generous proportioned breakfasts, we ordered a cinnamon roll to go. She has reported back that it was beyond amazingly good! The only negative was on the receipt, which gives guidance on gratuities for 20%, 25%, and 30%, which seems, perhaps, presumptive. I consider myself to be a generous tipper, but seldom go higher than 22% for magnificent service.
