A hidden gem in Vancouver. Came in here last week because I was really craving pizza, but a lot of the other joints were closed or getting ready to close. Feel bad for the dude working there, he was the only one there, but bless him for it. Luckily it wasn't busy. But bro knows how to make a pie! Honestly didn't know what to expect, but that was a top 5 pizza for me for sure. Got the combination pizza and enjoyed every bite! Soft and cheesy on the top and a light crunch on the bottom. I found this place just by happenstance because we were driving by and commenting on the interesting choice to spell blazing incorrectly. The "blazzin" sauce was good, and I appreciated the mild heat it brought to the pies. Unfortunately, the service was so so, despite being friendly. They just always feel understaffed. I would definitely order from them again, but I would pick it up (the delivery is not the greatest, see the other reviews here on yelp) and make sure you go in to order it, as getting them to answer the phone on time regularly can be a challenge. Unfortunately I have to give this one star . If I could it be zero . First the guy making pizza and on Feb 21 2024 needs to be taught good hygiene . This guy was talking to us rubbing the sweat in his arm pit bare hands and running his fingers thru his balding long hair it was disgusting . I told the owner I was a pizza snob having lived in Chicago. We moved here two years ago and have slowly been trying all the pizza places in town. So far only a couple pizza places in Portland (NOT Vancouver) have earned my repeat business....until we tried Blazzin! After our first order I was back 2 days later! They're also open late, like Chicago hours late, in The Couve where everything else closes at 9 at the latest! Finally, I can get hungry for pizza at 10:30 and still order it instead of grumbling and thinking of which place I'll have to wait and try the next day! When you love pizza, it's hard to be picky because I'm so in love with this food. So I had my nephew and niece with me and they were excited for pizza too so I called in for a pepperoni pizza and quickly picked it up. Once at home, the smell was incredible and I wanted to dive in head first into the pie, but as soon as I pulled a slice out, the bottom of the box was soaked. Not just a little spot here and there, but the whole dang slice. This led to more investigating and I lifted the rest of the pizza and damn, there wasn't a dry piece of cardboard under the pizza. I'd give this place one star but my nephew really really really enjoyed the oil. When I got there I found out I was at the wrong location I called the location where I ordered from and Charles answered the phone and was so helpful . He was more than willing to have his driver travel outside their delivery area for me . I was so impressed with the customer service I received and when the pizza got here it was awesome! It was some fresh it was hot it was tasty , I will never order another pizza from anywhere else again . Blazing Pizza is #1 in my book. Placed an order for delivery today. I wouldn't recommend this. I ordered a 14in pizza and after the fees and everything cost me $25. The pizza was so small. I ordered it to be delivered to my work so I had a ruler and the pizza was 11in in diameter. Look, I know pizza shrinks when it's made but clearly not by 3 inches in diameter. They cheated me to save money. Second issue was the delivery. The delivery driver pulled up smoking a cigarette with pizza in the back of the car. Then grabbed my pizza. I work in a restaurant and the health department requires you to wash your hands before touching food. Third issue... I work in a restaurant and met the driver at the back door. He could tell from my attire that I was the manager. So, get this, he asked me for free food. I thought he was kidding but he didn't laugh and just stared at me waiting for my answer. I've gotten pizza from here before and was looking forward to the Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon pizza, but upon calling for carry out, I inquired about the carry out specials and was given something completely different than what's on their website. When I raised this issue, I was given an "Okay?" In the manner of "So what, and your point is?" Horrible customer service. Called to have a delivery only to be told they don't deliver. Then go online to order the pizza and pay a third party to deliver. The pizza shows up with wrong ingredients and burnt. Call the store to report and get things figured out. The guy (Nick) that answers the phone is rude and without taking any information on who we were Immediately says that we ordered it with those ingredients. We ask for the manager/owner only to be told they are not at the store and will be there in 5 minutes. Call back 20 minutes later because no call back and be told that the manager/owner is not there and will be there in 5 minutes. Then Nick proceeds to accuse us of being in the wrong and not accepting we ordered the wrong pizza. When I said the pizza is burnt he laughed at me and said well you can bring it down to prove that. Since writing this, the manager contacted us and made good on the pizza. Still a bit on the burnt side, but the toppings were correct. The manager brought the pizza to our home and said she was glad to get out of the restaurant. But, Nick said she wasn't in the restaurant. So, not sure what to make of that comment. read more

If you believe Covid is a real thing and there are health risks involved you may want to avoid this place! I deliver for GrubHub and DoorDash and have been to this pizza place at least a dozen times and there's only one person who wears a mask inside. She works the counter. The food handlers do you not wear masks. In particular, there is one heavyset man who never wears a mask anytime I'm there. On my visit last night, I asked the girl at the counter why that man never wears a mask. She told me that they ask him to wear a mask but he flat out refuses. I have had the pizza from this establishment and it's very good. But personally I would never order pizza from here during this pandemic. I would definitely not feel safe. read more

Super cool, locally owned spot. Went in to see what it was about & we were greeted by what I assume was the owner. We had a lot of questions that he happily answered and a few modifications that he had no problem accommodating. When our food came out (mango habanero wings & jalapeño cheesy bread) we had planned to take it to-go but we ended up staying to eat because the vibes were so good. The food was amazing, I'd say the best wings we've been able to get for that price in this area. The cheesy bread was also amazing and perfectly crispy. Both served with awesome homemade ranch. Today I got the peanut butter bacon cheeseburger pizza (I've had this before, sounds disgusting but it's absolutely great) and a chicken bacon ranch sandwich. The pizza is typical for Blazzin, soft crust with plenty of high quality toppings and just enough sauce. But the sandwich is what really blew me away. However, this time around I had the urge to order from Blazzin to switch things up and I am happy with my decision. I ordered a medium supreme sans mushrooms with a order of wings (garlic parm). The wings were good. I should have taken the advice of fellow helpers to ask for extra crispy! Some of them were small but still, they were tasty and hit my wings cravings and I would order them again. The pizza, was good as well. They are generous with the toppings, which I appreciate. Sometimes when places are generous with toppings, the balance of the pizza is off (crust/topping ratio). I felt like Blazzin didn't overdo it and found a nice middle ground. We just got up from our dinner table; we stopped and thought pizza sounded good. We stopped at Blazzin Pizza and got a family size combo and 5 pieces of chicken. Staff: Fun, chatty people. One star for them. Food: Their pizza is utterly FLAVORLESS. My wife and I each took our first bite, looked at each other, and asked, "Does this taste like ANYTHING?" The sausage, the onion, the pepperoni, the cheese had ZERO flavor. I had 2 pieces and was so disappointed I got up from the table. The "chicken wings" were tiny (imagine a small ping pong ball)...but at least they tasted like something. Certainly not worth what we paid. We've been living here and Vancouver Washington for over four years and this is the best pizza that we've found in the area other than round table. The crust was amazing. The sauce wasn't too acidic. Good pizza at a reasonable price. Wings and cheesy bread sticks are great as well. Ten wings for only $6.50. The decor is kind of not there, and for such a large space they could add more seating. We came in because we had won a free Groupon, and they accepted it with no fuss. Some restaurants treat you different when you come in with coupons or Groupons, so I also appreciate good customer service. One of the few restaurants that offer a punch card, buy ten pizzas get one large two topping pizza for FREE! I like supporting local businesses instead of Dominoes or Pizza Hut..
