We've purchased slices from this location before, but this is the first time we ordered full pizzas. After placing our order online, we watched the tracker and drove over once it said the prep had started. Our pizzas were ready about five minutes past the estimated time, but we didn't mind the wait. The team was understandably busy with the promotion, yet the staff remained incredibly friendly and didn't seem to let the extra workload phase them. Pricing for an 11-inch ranges from approximately $23 to $28 depending on the combination of toppings, with the meaty ones being pricier, as expected. Four of us shared two pizzas which was the perfect amount! We only had three slices leftover. + 12th FAN PRIMO ($27.99 for 11"): Pepperoni, salami, chicken, Mama Lil's peppers, olives and mozzarella on their seasoned tomato sauce base. This one had a spicy edge to it between the peppery chicken and Mama Lil's (marinated) peppers. The tang from the peppers and brininess from the black olives cut through the richness of the otherwise meaty toppings. Any carnivore will love this one! + BROOKLYN BRIDGE ($27.99 for 11"): Pepperoni, Cascioppo's Italian sausage, mushrooms, olives, green peppers, onions and mozzarella over their seasoned tomato sauce. Considering the savory sausage, bold pepperoni, slight sharpness of the onion and the mildly bitter bite of the green peppers, this hit all the flavors and textures for me. Combo pizzas are typically my favorite and this one is no exception. This Pagliacci is generous with their toppings; almost no cheese was left uncovered! That said, while I wouldn't call the price of a small-sized pizza cheap, at least I can see the value in it for an occasional pizza night. As a couple other notes, I enjoyed their fresh bright tomato sauce and the crust was on the thinner crispy side, which I prefer! Since I don't love crust in the first place, I appreciated that theirs is not the doughy type and that the toppings remain the focus. Thanks for the delicious pizzas, Pagliacci!

I loved the thinly sliced potatoes on the truffle pizza, and the hot honey pizza was a good classic. It wasn't too spicy for me. The pizza boxes were also super cute and fun. We were looking for something simple, and I'm trying to see what's decent in Sammamish proper. Thai Trio seems to be a good takeout option, but dining in is more suitable for a 'street-style' encounter they promote instead of a planned night out: there's only like 5 tables inside serviced by metal backless stacking stools, and it would be tight for a 3-person or more party at a table. The menu is simple with limited range: proper for a strip mall t/o function. I found it interesting that the 'about us' feature on the TT web page discussed having a huge success with the Swimming Rama dish, yet it wasn't offered locally, only in their Thailand roots. I ordered the Drunken Noodles $18, and later added Fried Wontons appetizer $9 shortly after the order was already in process. The noodles arrived after a proper delay (not fast, but not slow either), and the wontons appeared a few minutes following, which was good since my wife's order didn't arrive until after these. The wontons were crisp and hot, about 5 or 6 pieces, with a small cup of sweet and sour dipping sauce. Good, but forgettable. My noodles were accompanied by a decent sized serving of pork, and lesser of spinach and other veggies, in a proper amount of sauce. Tasty and matching the medium spiciness ordered, but also forgettable. I left with a full belly. Wife ordered Penang Curry $17, which arrived last. It was a bowl of sauce with chicken in it, with a side bowl of rice, and wife commented that it was devoid of other ingredients: no veggies (maybe there were some, but you'd have to dig around to find them). She commented 'average'. We wanted a simple jasmine tea, and what was probably their strongest offering was the drinks: I watch the one counter person make drink after drink, and they had a fancy label machine that heat-sealed a plastic film over the top. We were expecting hot but a cold beverage arrived $7 ea, and the surprise was pleasant, possibly the high point of the meal. The served greeted us promptly and came for our order timely, but the offered water didn't arrive until after all the food arrived, and with the tea drink. That and the random timing of the dishes sends the message it's best as takeout. And watching the queue of orders going out the door and people stacked up waiting, you're best to order in advance and pick up later: it's not fast food (which they did not claim, either). Prices bordered on being expensive, given a mall facing and lack of a proper dining room. As we were looking for a bigger dining experience and this was not a good match (our fault), it's unlikely we'd return since there are a few others more in line with what we were looking for as an experience.

Glad there are real pizza places in the area and even a frozen pizza is better than this chain. As always you get what you pay for and even if MOD would load you up with every topping they have in the limited previously prepared diced meat and veggies to your personal touch...the cracker crust leaves something to be desired...like a choice. No wonder their cracker crust doesn't fall apart with the toppings as there are limited toppings. The salads are a joke so you put on what you want and it is still the same price whether you have just lettuce or several vegetable and cheese which equal less than a tablespoon. Not my idea of clean or fresh food as the toppings are prepared and shipped to each store. Who knows how often they are replaced. The staff is under trained and not very knowledgable. The beer, wine and drink bar are over priced and underscored. They shouldn't even offer beer and wine as you don't know what you are being served. For people that say the pizza is as good as Italy or maybe even New York and Chicago certainly haven't tried something else here. There are so many other pizza chains that are available locally that for a few dollars more you get authentic style pizza and can have as much or less of meats and vegetables as you request with choices of regular crust, cracker and gluten free that are prepared fresh daily locally...not shipped in from a warehouse. Will stick with the local and chains that have been around for many years, or maybe just go to my local super market and get a fresh or frozen pizza that has some substance. read more

So I'll admit it I'm a MOD fan, I left a review for the Bellevue location earlier but just had an amazing experience at the new Sammamish location. I guess it's new cause I didn't even know MOD was in Sammamish until my friend took me there tonight. We had a great time, not only was the food as good as Bellevue but they also have wine on tap, yup I said it wine on tap just like beer. Let me tell ya it's damn good compliment to the pizza and for only 5bucks how can you beat it. Although it might feel like I'm cheating on al my MOD friends at the Bellevue store, I think I have found a new home in Sammamish, I hope they'll understand. :-) Get your butts down here, it's the place to be. read more

The guy with tatoos on his calves who i gathered from my time at mod is the manager and he is a downright asshole who does not care for his customers, i overheard him making fun of a Chinese customer's accent by saying "dog dog can I have dog on my pizza" which was not only extremely rude and racist, but it made me very uncomfortable. As a customer i want to feel welcomed, not excluded. Imagine being the child of that customer made fun of and how awful you would feel knowing that simple act of your father getting a pizza after your soccer game is turned into a crude joke and that noone will take him seriously because of his accent. read more

This is a great place to go if you enjoy great pizza you can top any way you like. You can have them build you a salad on your choice of greens and select from a huge variety of fresh veggies, cheeses, meats and other toppings. They have a nice selection of teas and lemonades in addition to the standard soft drinks. Shakes and beer are also available. The atmosphere is fun. By far the best pizza place in Sammamish, and easily one of my favorite restaurants! I love the make-it-your-own set up and the service and employees are great. The best part are the mega salads: twice the size of most salads and the same 10$ price! Also the selection of toppings makes the salads the best I've ever had, and no need for dressing! I'm on weight watchers and come here often for my treat on Tuesday nights with my husband. I am always extremely happy with my all veggie and garbanzo bean pizza! Light cheese of course but soooo tasty and it doesn't throw all my hard work for the week down the drain! The staff is very caring and compassionate when it comes to our family! We had two pizzas this visit - the Leonardo and the Mediterranean. Both were satisfying - with a balanced amount of toppings and cheese, not greasy, not excessive. Good meal!

I don't know how I haven't reviewed this place yet but I've been going here since they opened (many years ago). You MUST try the Napoli salad...seriously, chef's kiss! The pizza is delish and although I am a creature of habit and have only tried 3, I'm fairly certain they are all incredible. There is a nice bar here with some fancy drinks as well as a nice gelato selection. Your kids'll love it!

Host tells us we can sit in the bar area. It's quiet. Open. She's not drinking--we're just there to eat. An older, short waiter in a tan cap brings menus and water. She takes a sip. Then as she's about to order, he suddenly demands her ID. I explain--she's not ordering alcohol. Doesn't matter. He keeps going. Starts throwing out numbers: "It'll cost $5,000." Then somehow, "$10,000." He won't let it go. She's sitting there with half a glass of water and now we're being threatened with fines? We got up and walked out. No professionalism. No common sense. Just paranoia wrapped in attitude. You had empty tables and managed to push away paying customers. Takes a special kind of service to make that happen.

The pizza is fabulous too! Since moving to Arizona, I've really missed going to the Acropolis. We don't have anything down here even close to what the Acropolis offers. My next visit to Kirkland I am looking forward to going to the Acropolis. You folks that own the restaurant are definitely doing the right thing by keeping it just as it has been all these years...fabulous!! I highly recommend it to anyone that wants a tasty, delicious, Greek hot oven grinder or one of their great pizza's. The restaurant looks big and roomy. They have parking on their lot; the streets nearby offer parking, too. My BIL used to love this place because they have "cheese-on-everything". I am partially lactose intolerant, so I avoided it until now. LOL. The Food: Italian Sausage hot oven grinder - 2 Stars Menu: spicy Italian sausage, marinara, green peppers & cheese Hubby had pizza in his mind when he choice this grinder, meaning the individual chunk (globs?) of sausage meat. The Italian sausage was literally a sausage sliced in half and placed in the sandwich. He said it tasted like a polish sausage with hot dog texture (yikes). It also has a pale red/pink color that resembles a hot dog (yikes again). The toasty bread that we saw in other Yelp photos was less so for both of our sandwiches. They were toasted but much softer/limp when we unwrapped our sandwiches. Vegetarian hot oven grinder - 4 Stars Menu: mayo, lettuce, cheese, onions, green peppers, black olives, tomatoes, mushrooms & seasoning I asked if there's a half cheese option. She said they can do light cheese. My grinder is well filled with all sorts of veggies with discernible cheese. It's fine by me really. I asked for no mayo, and I added my own hot sauce at home. It tasted quite good that way. The next time I take-out grinders again, I will bake them in the oven to brown the bread a bit. These sandwiches lost some texture on the way home. Note the website says $13.95 for all grinders. The Yelp online ordering says $16.95 instead. I didn't ask for a receipt, so I have no idea what the correct price is.
