Like the pizza. It's not the greatest, but for the price it serves the purpose. For this location it serves up a hungry and busy lunch crowd. Would recommend calling ordering online and saving the wait. Ordered two (one for coworker), when I arrived there was an issue with the order, as someone accidently grabbed the wrong pie. Tried out downtown Spokane's Mod Pizza. It was great! The service was prompt and wonderful. The ingredients were all fresh and tasty. The restaurant appeared to be clean. I had a good amount of each topping I requested, so I had tasty flavor in each bite. This Mod was featuring an Alaska Pale Ale and one of the No- Li beers. The Alaska Pale was SO good! It is nice to go to a casual pizza shop, get a customized pizza, and have some craft brews to add to the flavor. They have a sauce bar that has the Parmesan cheeses, Sriracha, chili flakes, and other post baked fixins. The Mod pizza was just the right size for me. I wasn't so full that I was sick, but I was fully satisfied. I will definitely be back to have a custom pizza and crisp beer on their nice patio. read more

A lot of people call MOD Pizza the Subway of pizza, but that is all wrong. If Subway had an attractive spouse and had a child, MOD Pizza would be the pizza child of Subway. This particular MOD is in the perfect location downtown. Have fun downtown shopping or at the park then enjoy some delicious pizza. This is all at a very reasonable price for the portions and quality of ingredients. Sound good? They have toppings for any type of taste; sweet and savory, spicy, salty, and fresh. The standard pizza is enough for two, but mostly enough for someone who is really hungry. My only complaint is that around lunchtime the drink area was pretty dirty. This is the best MOD in Spokane - awesome service, great location near Riverfront Park, and mostly the ambiance is chill with plenty of open space. I mean I love MOD's store design in general but this one has even more light. Pro Tip: grab some roasted garlic on your pizza. Another pro tip: their new mama lil sweet peppers are amazing. We went there during Christmas season and came back this weekend. Both times the staff were fantastic and the pizza delicious. I got the Mad Dog with roasted garlic and peppers I mentioned. I must admit I am pleasantly surprised. I came in super late (10:30pm) and the staff was super friendly and happy to serve. It was my first time so the young lady walked me through my options and the menu. I opted for their MOD sized pizza with garlic white sauce, anchovies, pepperoni, extra cheese, mushrooms, asparagus, and hot peppers with marinated garlic. They have a menu but I chose to create my own with no charge for extra toppings. My pizza only took a few minutes to cook and before they boxed it to go I was asked if I wanted an additional finishing sauce. I chose the balsamic glaze on the side. I've been to both locations in town and they're consistently good. As others have said, it is similar to Subway in that you can order from a menu of pre-selected ingredients or build your own. I also love the toppings you can add after they come out of the oven and the iced tea and lemonade options! The price is a little more than if you were to pick up from a chain restaurant, but at MOD you get unlimited toppings, so it kind of evens out. Always a friendly greeting when we walk in. Delicious! This MOD was very clean and had many different options for eating either inside or outside. Each of the employees we talked with were very friendly and kind - the manager (Maybe owner) even said goodbye to us and wished us a good day when we left, as he was eating his lunch outside. I have not been to a MOD pizza in awhile but I really liked how you could get a mini pizza and a mini salad. Both were decent sized and you could have them make it however you like! They ran out of white sauce for the pizza and then brought out some frozen stuff and put it on the crust....not a great neighborhood and a panhandler came in asking us for money while we were eating. Very affordable, which is great. And you can put any toppings on and as many different toppings as you want! They also let me put up my poetry slam posters, so that was very chill of them. The reason they don't get all stars is because, well, the curse of comparison. They are affordable, but there is higher quality and better tasting (and thus more expensive) pizza out there. MOD Pizza is the bomb-diggity (I even like it better than Blaze)! The crust is so thin, crisped to perfection, and straight-up delish. Also, they honestly mean it when they say you can put as many toppings as you want on your pizza for one low price--a mini pizza cost less than $5! Such a steal! There are many toppings to choose from, not to mention more sauce options than just plain old pizza sauce. Fast and friendly, not to mention they have a really weird, eclectic rock playlist pumping at all times. Anywhere that rocks out to the song "Magical Mystery Tour," by the Beatles is good in my book. Best pizza I have had in years! Choose any toppings! Fantastic!!! It is a different business model: essentially, you buy a pizza crust (not yet baked), and then choose toppings. They have a fantastic selection to choose from.- wider than I have ever seen. And FRESH! My wife got a "pizza salad" - essentially a cheese pizza with a salad on the top. I got a pizza with my favorite items - plus some items I seldom if ever get to put on a pizza. The crust is thin, and it takes less time than I was expecting for the pizzas to arrive at out table. I had the Jasper small pizza. This was one on the wall panel that had ingredients listed. I didn't add anything to it. It sounded good and it was. I liked the pizza and the crust. I like the thinner crusts now more popular. Downtown gets really busy so the volume of talking gets amped up, and they got really busy today just before noon. Great food, great price. A little disappointed. I ordered my daughter a pizza to go just as I was finishing mine. When I went to check on it, they forgot about it and it was burned to a crisp. They did make a new one and gave me a coupon for a free pizza. Problem was were the only ones in the place. Not sure how they forgot. Also all the draft beers were nearly all the way flat because their CO2 ran out. Not good to not have a back up for a restaurant that serves multiple draft beers. read more

I found a piece of glass in my pizza here once. I've also found a tip of a knife stuck in some brownies my sister made once, and a nail in an ice cream cone, one time I found a rock in my salad..anyways...luckily I'm proficient in the arts of pulling extremely harmful objects from my mouth before my throat gets a leak or actually any part of my mouth turns into a SAW movie and kills me so lucky for MOD I didn't die. But no one really asked me if I was ok or if my throat did have a small new window. Instead they just gave me another pizza........ wait. We love MOD! First time to MOD was in California and I will say we were treated better there then here in Spokane at both locations. Love the flavor and it makes my 9 year old happy to eat here! I have noticed that when you are adding your toppings they get mad if you add more then 4 or so...not sure why because it's a place where you choose your own topping... other then that the place is great! read more

I love that I can pick and choose exactly what I want on my pizza, and the staff is always willing to answer any questions I have.
