It took longer from the estimated time that my manicurist quoted, but not too big of a deal. A customer walked in and my manicurist had to get up and help the walk-in with scheduling a future appt. She was very sweet and apologetic for having to step away. When I was done, she charged me $65. and at that point I just wanted to get out. My old nail tech had to go back to Vietnam for a month so I needed to find a substitute to do a powder dip manicure. When I went to the salon on a Saturday it was empty except for the nail tech. This is the worst manicure I've ever had. I had broken two nails so she replaced them with acrylics which popped off in two days. I just do clear polish but that turned out pink and my nails feel very rough. The final straw was the price. With tip it was over $100. For a manicure??? Won't be back! read more

Rushed service ended up in my finger being sliced and scarred permanently. I called about getting a service for my mom and I. Since my mom was getting less done, they said she can be scheduled a little later than I. We got there and she was scheduled for an HOUR later. We wouldn't be getting our nails done at the same time, and she had to leave or she'd be late to work. The lady doing my nails was nice at first, but she acted super rushed. When cutting my cuticles haphazardly and as quickly as she could, she cut off a chunk of my skin. This was around 3 weeks ago. My skin has healed but it os scarred permanently. My cuticle looks HORRENDOUS and is discolored and puf. I do not recommend this place at all. Will update if I can find out technician's name. Update: Seeing the owner's response is upsetting because a lot of this is false. They said that the max time difference between my mom and I would be 15min-30. Which was fine because she only wanted a pedicure. An hour was not acceptable and didn't allow us to do anything at the same time. Moreover, I used my phone with one hand while they worked on the other... shouldn't impact the quality of the service. I was indecisive about the color I wanted and the technician assured me that I could take my time. I asked for an extra exfoliating mask on my foot which she left on and scrubbed off in less than 5 minutes. All of this being said, IF YOU DON'T HAVE TIME, DON'T RUSH, DON'T ADD THE EXTRA TASK, AND DEFINITELY DON'T HARM THE CUSTOMER. PERIOD. Maybe tell me that we're short on time and can't add the exfoliation, rather than accept more than you can handle so you can earn more money. It is on the technician to let the customer know what can or can't be done. The customer doesn't know anything about that, that's why they're not a nail technician. The owner tried to "rectify the situation" by asking me to come back and pay for another service at an insignificant discount. Not a very great effort at rectifying a permanently scarred finger. Why would I give them any more money? I'm astounded that she posted this response. Shows poor accountability on the salon's part. My advice? Go somewhere else. I visited Polish'd Bail Bar for my first time on 8/20/2021. (For a pedicure) Just walking in, I knew it would be a pleasant experience! The very zen, spa atmosphere was very relaxing! I'm not sure if we came on an off day for them, but for the amount I paid it was one of the worst experiences and manicure/pedicures ever. Besides the amount of time it took for my daughter and I, the final result for 300.00 was ridiculous. My daughter got to a point of frustration and left after 2 hours with only her pedicure done and no polish on her fingernails. My pedi and mani were complete but the job done on my fingernails in the daylight showed all these lumps and bumps--uneven edges and my nails were not fully covered with polish. The nails started to peel in a few days and I am now after soaking in acetone without any polish. My toenails looked ok upon leaving but the polish started to peel in a week. They look like I have not had them done recently. I put this here, as the three people in the salon that day perhaps weren't prepared? Had not done many nails in the past? I don't know, but it was bad enough for the price that I am leaving this review. read more

This is my first negative review. I had a terrible experience here and this morning my toes still hurt from my pedicure yesterday. My manicurist didn't greet me, was annoyed about something, and harsh with my mani/pedi. My pedicure is uneven with nail polish on my skin, which she didn't take the time to clean off. Great place! Was able to get a super last minute appointment on a Saturday evening for a regular manicure. Was definitely a super relaxing experience from the beginning. I was offered a warm neck wrap, which I gladly accepted, and a drink of my choice, which I chose a glass of white wine. This was so comforting! Loved it so much! The wine was a nice touch. I had Nicole and she was awesome! Very thorough and gentle. Did a great polish job. This place is so cute and a whole different experience from any other salon in the area. I really want to like this place as it is physically beautiful. I've had about 3 pedicures there to date. While the pedicures are good, customer service is extremely lacking. In fact I am suspicious of all the positive reviews as they contrast so greatly with my experience. It makes me wonder if they are paying people to leave good reviews. Some business advice from a successful CEO: 1) even if you have over 100 positive reviews on Yelp, don't ever let a potential new customer walk out your door with nothing but a bad feeling-give them a reason to come back! 2) if you have to say "no" you better start it with an apology and follow it up with a "yes" - "no, I'm so sorry we can't get you in at your requested time today, but we can get you in at this time, and here's a 10% off card to bring with you" 3) competition is fierce and businesses go under all the time-not because of their product, but because of lack of service. I walked in, asked if there was a pedicure appt in 1/2 hr to an hour. She said no, next ones at 12:15. I said I didn't think I'd have time to dry before my 2:00 engagement. She said "have a nice day". How about, I'm so sorry we would love to have you, we have this quick dry polish or have you thought about gel nails? (More money for them AND a new client). Or when can you come in this week? I'd love to give you this 10% off your preferred service to make sure you come back! We do such a great job here, we know you'll love it! What I got was nothing and no reason to ever try them again, so I'm on my way to a different salon, and, will most likely mention this experience to my girlfriends at happy hour tonight because that's what we girls talk about. read more

In town very briefly for work, had four hours to kill and needed a pedicure. It's funny how all of the salons are closed on Monday in that area. Pros: Making the appointment through the yelp app was super convenient, and I appreciated not having to call. There was a huge selection of polish in every single color, and many different brands. The nail tech was nice. There were tons of pedicure chairs, so I didn't feel conspicuous. The water was very hot and I like that. Cons: There was nothing special about the medi pedi. It was less thorough than any pedi I've had in any state, but was $15 more. With 20% tip it was $60, which would have provided a lengthy sugar scrub, massage, and hot towels in salons around here. There was a great smelling eucalyptus scent added to the water, but otherwise it was just a very simple pedi. The price menu boasts "steamy hot towel wraps and massage", but it was more of a light swipe of a towel and a little lotion. The pictures of the salon are much more pristine than in real life, including heaps of towels next to my chair, and a cluttered appearance. The music was so loud I had trouble hearing my nail tech. My big toe hurts a lot today, so I'm not sure if she didn't trim it enough or too much. The chairs (more like steps) are hard to get in and out of with dignity because the pillows and wood move around. Overall it was just overpriced for what it was. read more

The vibe here immediately sold me. I'm such a neat freak/OCD for a good mani/pedi and Polish'd delivers. None of the 'chop shop' mentality or feel. All the technicians speak English, are knowledgable about the products and services, and although my only experience is with Liza (amazing), everyone seemed to be on their game. The options for manis and pedis are varied and all sound delicious, with multiple price points. Definitely not the cheapest place around, but I will gladly pay for quality. I did the tangerine lemongrass duo (mani and pedi for $60) which smelled heavenly. The Ruby Red Grapefruit supposedly also is a must. I appreciate that you can book online and that they are open 7 days a week. You know a place must be good when it's packed till closing, so definitely make an appointment. I know some other reviewers complained about the 'non massage chairs' and bowls instead of swirling water bath but, eww. We all know those jet tubs are NOT EVER cleaned properly, so I appreciate a tub that can be sanitized. And I can pay for a real massage I don't need a vibrating chair. Thanks.
