This place completely ruined my Saturday morning. I was so excited to have breakfast delivered, but I spent 45 minutes trying to place the order online and with "customer service" who also could not place a breakfast order because it was too late, nor a lunch order because it was too early. They transfer me to the store. I had to explain my situation to 3 different people until the manager said I had to come pick it up. Being overly committed to this already, I said, let me just go ahead and place the order and I'll have Favor pick it up. SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!!! Are you kidding???? I would have given no stars for the experience I'm writing about; however, my husband and I tried their lunch yesterday and were very pleased with the service, so I gave them 2 stars. Today was the first time for breakfast. Showed up at 10:30, 5 yr old and 2 yr old were with us. We reviewed the menu prior to going to be sure there were selections our children would eat. Placed order and was told they were out of breakfast potatoes. Look at their breakfast menu - potatoes are in most selections! I was told they were subbing mixed greens for potatoes. That's not an acceptable substitute for my children, so I stepped to the side to see what I could come up with to satisfy my girls. I'm thinking fruit salad would work better for them, but, honestly, I was turned off by how the cashier treated the woman in front of me. When she stepped up to order, he told her about the potatoes. She said "oh man! No potatoes?" The cashier rolled his eyes and said, "yeah, no potatoes." She said, "man this is tough cause there is potatoes in everything." He sighed, rolled his eyes again, and said rudely, "that's why we are out." I'm thinking that's especially why they shouldn't be out. She tried to lighten the moment by giggling and saying, "ah. Nice try. I can't believe you're out." To which he once again rudely responded, "well, it's the truth. We are out because there are a lot of potatoes on the menu." How about apologizing for the inconvenience? How about politely, without the eye roll and attitude, responding to this woman who was being kind? I'm sure it's annoying to have to tell customers you are out of a staple menu item over & over, but she was truly kind. I figured I could take my children and my business elsewhere since it was too inconvenient and exasperating for this person to deal with the situation. 9/25/17 I tried this place again after being told kids eat free on mondays. Apparently what they really mean is $5 off for one kid on mondays. So instead of my 2 children eating for free, we paid $9.50 (it would have been $14.50). I'm certainly willing to pay for good food, but don't tell me "kids eat free" when I'm going to walk out paying almost $10. $10 is definitely not free. Whole Foods is opening tomorrow. No need to put up with the inconsistencies here anymore. read more

Arrived at Modern Market and the cashier had to call the manager over to help with an order that I had. Which was no problem, I didn't mind. The manager's name was Dawn, when she was called over to the register I definately had a clear view of her, she rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth. Managers are suppose to assist when an employee needs assistance. Not to make an employee feel like crap because they need help. My experience with Dawn was that she was checked out, very unprofessional. She didnt seem to want to help me with my take out order. The cashier on the other hand was more willing to help rather than manager. That's just sad. read more

I am so confused why some folks gave this place a 4 star. I came here because of the reviews. First time here no signs what to do. I thought it was a sit down French place that a waiter would take your order nope didn't happen. You order your food take a number and the server looks all over for your table. By the time your food comes it's not hot and they don't know how to make latte! The food is not thing great. I would say the quality is less then panera food. I thought Texas folks are friendly but not at this place. This would have been a one star but atmosphere was cool. read more

Amazing customer service by the Manager Dawn. She took the time to discuss different menu items and all her recommendations were on point. Maddie also gave great customer service to all patrons. A+ food and definitely worth coming back. Great to see and interface with a Manager that cares about the customers. Highly recommend this facility. read more

I like this concept very much and not your average lunch...or dinner place for that matter...in many ways. Its order at the counter, which can have a long line. I'd sign up for their ap which makes a big difference in many ways. The food is healthy and awesome, probably the best ciabatta roll ever with the basil chicken. Many great dishes, even wood fired pizza. Reasonable and easy to get to and park. If i had one complaint is there is not consistency here. Between mistakes in orders to a non standard definition of what some things should mean. Lite dressing is only light with who is making it, and it changes constantly. Same thing for heavy, or anything really. They should have a standard protocol for what those things mean in execution. Preparation of the salads also, it seems you don't get the same thing the same way twice in a row. I personally find that a drag. But you'll like the food and concept. read more

Went here with some guys that love this place. I haven't been here before. With that said the "Chefs Pick" of the BBQ sandwich is a joke. They should take down "Berkshire" bc I have had Berkshire pork and that sandwich was far from. I had better pulled pork at the state fair of Texas...highly disappointed. read more

Very good food prepared with quality ingredients however the portion sizes were very small. My wife and I ordered the chicken and beef entree's with two sides (can't speak to the sandwiches pizza etc). I've had more food at sample stations at my local warehouse club. It can be the best food on the planet but if they serve minuscule portions what's the point? On a side note the seating comfort was horrible The seating was aesthetically nice and modern but it was like sitting on concrete slabs at a government facility. The place was as clean as pin, very well organized and the staff could not have been friendlier.I'm sure they are doing their best and I didn't expect a smorgasbord but we both left hungry after spending $26 on two meals. read more

My coworker and I ended up staying at the NYLO Hotel for a week, for lack of better options. The best part about the NYLO is that it's walkable to this gem. After our first couple of visits this was an easy 5 star rating. The food was good and the people are soooooo nice. However, after our last visit I sadly had to drop to a 4. Mistakes happen. And they happen a lot at this restaurant. They're really inconsistent with the food. The first day we went my coworker ordered sausage and I feel like maybe they had thrown out all the sausage and had to pull some from the freezer or something. It took a really long time. But they were really apologetic and nice about it and gave him bacon to compensate for the wait. They forget to add random things to the meals, like mine was missing yogurt on my French toast (very tasty). But again, they added it no problem and they're just so stinking friendly and nice, that it's really no big deal. We started to wonder if there was anyone not amazingly friendly that worked there. We found her in our last visit. The woman at the cashier was standoffish and in a bad mood or maybe just not friendly. Then more mistakes were made with the food. If we had encountered the previous super nice and friendly folks again that last day, I would probably still forgive all the mistakes and give a 5 ratings. None of the mistakes are that made but they happen a lot. Honestly, the sour attitude really bummed me out after everyone was so above and beyond. Still a good place. Good food at OK prices - it's kind of just like a hipper version of Panera.

Not very memorable went a few weeks ago and can't honestly tell you what I got. Just know they were overpriced and my co worker got a pizza that was not all that. Only thing I enjoyed was their cola, it is made from real cane sugar so that was good. read more

My first time here I was greeted with kindness and enthusiasm. They were patient and even recommended food to my needs. I have gone a few times now and the environment is always the same. The food is clean, healthy, and most of all delicious. My personal favorites are the basil chicken, and blueberry pesto sandwich but you really can't go wrong. read more

My wife and I tried the Las Colinas location this morning for breakfast -- a complete waste of our money. Kitchen staff is pleasant enough and dining area is clean and comfortable. That said, inattention to detail resulted in (1) our order not being filled correctly and (2) two plates of lukewarm eggs. We left without touching the food -- which didn't seem to bother the manager. The potential is there, but with that kind of execution and customer service, why bother -- plenty of better restaurants in the immediate area. read more

I went to their soft opening and the food was amazing! The prices are very reasonable ~$8-$12 per plate. They list their macros on the menu and the receipt. Great for those watching what they eat. The food is very fresh and flavorful. Since they are more of a healthier restaurant, do not expect a Texas size plate with Texas size food. The quantity of food they provide is just enough. Customer service was excellent as well. I will definitely be back. read more

Worst experience ever!! We planned to have our business meeting at 10:15 and we all showed up at 10:25. We waited in line almost 10 minutes with ZERO people in the whole restaurant. A girl was in front of us placing a large catering order and the guy checking her out didn't even acknowledge us. We decided to sit down outside and wait for the lady to finish. I went back inside at 10:40 and started to order my brunch, and the guy told me that it's past 10:30 and they don't serve brunch anymore....really?! Ok, so I was in line and waited 10 min decided we needed to start our meeting and I will go back up and stand in line, which in reality he should have come to our table and apologized and took our order because again NO ONE was in the restaurant. The manager was a big joke! He just stood there looking like a deer in head lights and said, if I would have seen all 3 or you, I would have come over to take your order, BUT he didn't. You just lost out on our company business! The GM needs to be notified of the horrible customer service that isn't happening at this joke of a restaurant! read more
