I always enjoyed Dr Amadpour and his staff very much, who likes to go to the Doctors office but I did not mind at all.

This doctor saw me for a grand total of ~maybe~ 7 minutes. And this was as a first time patient, too! He didn't let me get a single sentence out, cut me off every time I spoke, and told me that what had been happening for the last couple months didn't matter -- only what my symptoms are "today." He didn't want to hear about any of the details that lead up to me being there, which would've took 5 minutes for me to explain to him. He just wanted to get to the next patient in the room, and didn't care at all about me. All he did was order me a colonoscopy/endoscopy because I told him about my family history of CRC, but I was so anxious and disappointed after this appointment that I canceled it and the follow-up afterards. Instead, I found a great new GI in Newport Beach, CA, who had a 30-40 minute consultation with me as a first-time patient, listened to my issues, explained things really nicely to me, and gave me a full plan/regimen out the door. He also ordered me the same colonoscopy/endoscopy, which I scheduled and will be doing soon. I left this new doctor's office feeling much more relieved and prepared about what to do next, and listened to/seen. If I were you, I would think twice about wasting your time for an appointment to see Dr. Naim. I was not happy with him or his practice at all, and would not recommend him to anyone I know.

He is not only professional, knowledgable, but also personable. The medical system was so confusing in the US, as the only person who speaks English in an immigrant family, I've accompanied my family going through many of the medical exams and procedures, often had more frustrations and disappointment than assurance. Dr.Pan was one of the best doctors I've ever encountered who's really worth the respect and gratitude. I hope there would be more physicians who can exhibit the professionalism and CARE at such level as Dr.Pan, it was a relief to know your health will be left in good hands instead of just being labeled with a case number, spending more time with the nurse taking vital signs instead of actually get questions addressed by the doctor. I've experienced persistent rectal bleeding and pain, while my Primary Doctor sent me home after a three-minute appointment with a prescribed laxative, which barely improved my situation. I was nervous as the pain progress and was too embarrassed to discuss it with others, I turned to Google for help, the information online only worsen my concerns and left me with even more questions. I was SO Glad that I was treated by Dr.Pan at the inSite Digestive HealthCare at the SGV office after weeks of suffering. He really took the time to listen to my concerns and discuss the possible solution for my case. The initial consultation went so smooth that I felt like I was just having a conversation with a caring family/friend. Besides his excellent bedside manners, Dr.Pan did efficiently resolved my situation with two quick painless procedures, he knew what he was doing as an experienced specialist. What impressive about Dr.Pan was that he actually remembered his patients personally, not just their names on the chart, but topics they've had during previous appointment. I expected that doctors having those convo out of professionalism, but didn't expected them to actually remembered or even care. When Dr.Pan asked me about how my study plans went which I've only mentioned once two WEEKs ago, I was surprised. Dr.Pan truly did care and remember his patients, and it SHOWs. During the wait time, while I got to observe how he interacted with the other patients, without surprise, he greeted everyone with kindness, patients and staff, elder or young. Dr.Pan is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and he also speaks good amount of Spanish. He would greet the patients in their native tongue when the patients arrive, asked whether they've improved since last visit. and personally explained the post-procedure care and answer questions before patients were released. I've accompanied my mom to get her regular colonoscopy done at another health center earlier this year, and she was discharged with two sheets of paper without a word with the attending gastroenterologist, yet now I know whom to ask for in the future if anyone who have get GI problems that need to be well taken care of.

I never imagined I'd write this review after 10 years of a wonderfully positive…read moredoctor/patient/staff relationship, but now that this office has sent me to collections for $130, I just have to get this off my chest. After months of turmoil, I ultimately switched doctors after being told by Dr. Tabib that he didn't go to medical school to be on the phone with my insurance company for hours. I had started a biologic treatment and there was an abundance of miscommunication following my initial treatments regarding my maintenance treatment. Dr. Tabib was the ONLY one that could straighten it out with my insurance company. I put in hours and hours on the phone with them as well doing everything I could to facilitate resolution. During one phone call he made it clear that once this was worked out and I had my medication straight, if *I* wanted to part ways, he would understand. Ms. Theo (front desk) was a big part of the miscommunication happening on their end, and when I tried to talk with her about it, I was met with abrupt rudeness, but that was never addressed either. Dr. Tabib refused to discuss it. I was in tears, by the way, as I truly felt abandoned by people I had trusted with my health during the most vulnerable moments of my illness. Once we parted ways, I thought we were done. I received a bill or two after that, and paid them. It had been a tumultuous several months, and I was relieved for it to be over. And now I'm suddenly getting calls from a collections agency months later. Very disappointing ending to this story.

I had a colonoscopy for the first time and was nervous about the procedure. Dr. Daneshgar and his team went above and beyond to reassure me that I was in good hands, and I was! His staff was so incredibly kind and caring towards me that it helped calmed my nerves during the procedure. I absolutely love his staff- seriously the nicest people ever! After the colonoscopy I was diagnosed with severe ulcerative colitis. I was on medication and recovering from home. Every single day (including weekends) Dr. Daneshgar called or texted me asking how I was feeling. Do you know any other doctor who would do that?! He truly cares about his patients and I am so grateful that he is my doctor. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! Since my condition was so severe, I was admitted in the hospital. Dr. Daneshagar called the hospital ahead of time and had already secured me a bed and made all the arrangements. All I had to do was check in. Now, I've never been admitted in a hospital before and dealing with a new disease is hard enough and having my doctor with me every step of the way made this entire situation easier and made me feel like I was in good hands. I was in the hospital for 5 days undergoing more aggressive treatment and infusions. Every day Dr. Daneshagar would visit me in the hospital to see how I was doing. He is the most caring and most genuine doctor that I have ever met. He is the best in his field and knows what he is doing when it comes to your health. I am so thankful that I have him as my doctor. I am now at home and feeling 100x better than when I had first met Dr. Daneshagar. A special THANK YOU to your staff!! Carole (thank you for knocking me out-MVP) , Jackie (you're the best, I couldn't have done that procedure without you), Winnie, Teresa, Monica, Lizz and Nayeli. You ladies are amazing and thank you for what you do.
