Very solid bagel sandwiches (and this is coming from two New Yorkers). The menu was a bit deceiving - they had more bagels in the store than the online menu suggested (e.g., pumpernickel everything in addition to plain pumpernickel). The vegan cream cheese was delicious. The bagels were good but didn't taste quite as fresh as fresh bagels often do, and they could've used a bit more red onion in the sandwich. read more

Came to Moe's at the suggestion of a friend (a Denver local) who spoke highly of the place. Originally tried to order online on a Sunday morning but there was a 3 hour wait to pickup so we went in person. There was a short line out the door, but it moved very quickly. Great social distancing and COVID measures in place inside. My friend and I split a Spicy Buff (without bacon) on a tomato cheddar bagel and a jalapeño bagel with sundried tomato cream cheese. The spicy buff was a bit pricey but good, and while the sundried tomato cc was not what I expected it was still light and flavorful. The bagels themselves were tasty and had good texture. We also got dirty chais -- one with almond milk and one with regular milk. The one with regular milk had a bit too much milk and not as much flavor, but the one with almond milk was much better and tasteful. read more

Man what a GREAT bagel sandwich, i got the egg, cheese, and meat (with sausage) and it was a VERY GOOD choice. The sausage on the bagel was HUGE. I also got the pumpernickel bagel that was just amazing, very thick, and fluffy, with a little crisp on the outside. Wondering how the hell this place only has 3.5 stars is insanity, guessing just a bunch of Karens who comment crap reviews. Unfortunately, due to covid restrictions there wasn't indoor seating so we ended up eating the bagels outside on snow covered patio furniture. Such an easy, safe and tasty experience! I ordered online for a scheduled pickup so my family could grab a quick breakfast on our way to the mountains. When I arrived, there was large, clear and visible signage about mask-wearing and social distancing, plus markers on the floor. Even though there were several people inside, everyone was spaced out and respectful of the policies. I had my order within about a minute of entering, even though I arrived a few minutes early. The bagels were warm, fluffy and PACKED with flavorful cream cheese. I'm already a big fan of the maple walnut, with whole walnut pieces scattered throughout. My three-year-old son devoured half an egg and cheese bagel plus nearly an entire half of the cream cheese bagel, too. Now... the coffee. My husband probably got tired of my continued rave review, from the first sip to the last, but I could not stop talking about it. I got the 20 oz. cold brew with oat milk creamer. It came with COFFEE ICE CUBES which meant the half I left in our car during the hike was still cold when we got back and not watered down. Another great gem found thanks to Yelp. I got the Golden Garden bagel and a Chai and both were fab. The menu is a large, cute chalked sign that hangs from the ceiling and they have a lot of great options. They also have the baskets of bagels behind the counter so you can see which flavors they have. It looks like they're made fresh every day. The staff was very friendly and seem to be Covid friendly. They have a wide variety of chewy bagels ranging from salt, everything without caraway seeds (YES!), onion, oatmeal raisin, cracked wheat and sesame, blueberry, asiago and much more. I ordered the egg, bacon and cheddar on an everything bagel that was warmed and saturated with butter. I'm not going to complain since it was delicious and I was hungry. The hubby ordered a bagel topped with jalapeño cream cheese, eggs, avocado and bacon. It's a weird combo in my opinion but he said it was really good with the right amount of heat. IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGY, BEWARE. i hate doing this during a pandemic when businesses are struggling, but incompetence and complacency with menu knowledge is dangerous. Went to order a simple bagel sandwich. Warned the cashier i had a severe dairy allergy and asked if they could make an egg and bacon sandwich work, if they used any milk dairy butter etc. Cashier gave me a half assed snide remark of "well it's just egg and bacon so clearly." Ok, order sandwich. Get in car. Egg patty looks suspicious. Call to double check, and the person that answered quickly goes "oh yeah it's egg and milk, so probably don't eat that." I really wanted to love this place! I saw the reviews and chose this over another bagel shop. The employees were SO friendly and welcoming, the drink selection was amazing, and the coffee was good (with coffee ice cubes!). However, the bagels were kinda of flavorless. For reference, we got a dozen bagels with a mix of plain, blueberry, poppy, sesame, and everything. We each had a different bagel, therefore trying all of them and we all agreed that it lacked flavor. Mind you, we also add seasoning to the cream cheese every time. The veggie cream cheese was great (we ALWAYS add thyme, onion, and garlic no matter what the place). And even with that, we could tell the bagel itself was flavorless. I eventually added salt to the cream cheese and feel like that's part of what their dough was missing, but with it JUST being in the cream cheese, it didn't stop half of our mouth from tasting nothing. I'm hoping this was just the one batch that they forgot to add salt or whatever ingredients to, but we leave next week and still have too many bagels left to spend money to give it a second try. Always a fan of Moe's. Before I COVID I would regularly cater open houses for my company through Moes and it was always a hit. Because i am not in the city much these days I try to hit all of my favorites. Moes makes bagels fresh daily and use the best ingredients. You cannot go wrong with any of their lunch sandwich's but if you're not planning on eating outside of the shop or in your car steer clear of the Ruben- this is the one exception as it will get a little soggy, but will still be delicious.
