Snarf's has expanded like crazy over the last few years and I'm still in awe of their execution and consistency. They have it dialed in here. No matter the location you visit, the sandwiches taste exactly the same every time. That alone is worth 5 stars to me! I've driven by this Broadway location more than I care to admit, but never set foot inside until last Friday. This one has a massive outdoor patio you can't miss. There's plenty of seating indoors as well. Plenty of staff behind the counter cranking out sammies during the lunch rush. It was 2pm and I hadn't eaten all day. I was hangry and indecisive, so I went with one of their OG crowd pleasers, the Italian. The sandwiches are crafted with lots of TLC, making for each bite being the perfect bite. That itself is tough to accomplish in the sandwich world. The bread is toasted and all the components of the sandwich stay inside throughout the duration of your dining experience. The hot peppers cut through the salty meats wonderfully, the sandwich is rich but still in balance. In a day in age when dining out has become somewhat of a gamble, where you don't know where your money is going, having places likes Snarf's in our backyard where you can truly rely on their consistent product is refreshing. I was introduced to Snarf's via a Yelp elite event up in Arvada. This sandwich franchise immediately became my favorite of all time. This particular trip was just as stellar. I brought a few friends so they could check it out as well. The service was exceptional and the food was first rate. The place is clean, well lit and has plenty of parking. I had the mushroom and cheese sandwich and I loved it. I ordered a second to take home for lunch the following day. They have fresh new tastes served in fun new ways. First timers for us but not for another person in the party who says she frequents Snarf's on a regular basis. Big, open area in the restaurant with long tables, almost family style set up. Big chalk boards behind the counters which creates a fun, laid back atmosphere. Love that you can order and also customize your sandwiches to fit your need. Here's what we had: Chicken salad with provolone: It was different and I guess I expected creamy chicken salad...this was a bit different with the shredded chicken. Just not as creamy as I expected. Ham & American cheese: Basic ham and cheese sandwich but the ham was good, not processed but fresh sliced. Good ole' American cheese! Artichoke & feta with provolone: Chopped up artichokes, mixed with feta and nice light dressing. French dip on gluten free roll: Meat was tender and flavorful and the dip au jus was good. I am happy to report that this place is a must try and my new favorite go to sandwitch shop in Castle Rock. My whole family got a sandwitch and everyone loved it. Overall a decent place. It's basically a mom and pop sandwich shop similar to what you'd find anywhere. Better than Subway or Quiznos but nothing "special". Sandwich was good (I had a chicken salad provolone sandwich) but not great. Menu is overpriced for what you get - but so is Subway so I'd pick Snarfs over Subway. Service was ok - I was there at the tail end of the lunch hour and the wait after ordering was about 15 mins - a bit long but they were pretty busy. Next time I will order ahead online. read more

I've never had a subpar sandwich from Snarf's, all of them have been excellent. That said, I've probably only tried 1/10 of the menu's offered items. Each one was unique and packed with flavorful ingredients. The sandwich bread alone would make you want to try more of their subs. The secret is they sprinkle parmesan cheese on the rolls being toasting them, yummers! You really need both hands when eating a Snarf's sandwich. The meats are packed solid and if you don't hold the sub right, risk the goodies slipping out from under the bread, lol. I'd advice eating it "horizontally" instead of "vertically", whatever you take that to mean ;) I've never had this much fun eating a sandwich. Really really wish there is a Snarf's closer by us. Be prepared to be asked a lot of detailed questions because the staff wants to make sure they get your order exactly customized to your needs. How considerate!! read more

I was recommended to go there. I was looking for a sandwich/Ruben and I was not disappointed, even though they only have their own breads. They did not have a side of coleslaw they were out that's OK. The sandwich was delicious and I enjoyed it very much the server was pleasant and apologized for being out of coleslaw. It takes a minute to get your order but then again it's made fresh so that's worth the extra couple minutes. Could eat outside or inside. The last time my college buddy came to Denver we got to talking about my hood. He mentioned that his parents owned the gas station on the corner of Florida and Broadway. For some reason that stuck with me, but the yogurt I was going to buy today slipped my mind. LOL!! Believe it or not, that ol' gas station that has been vacant for ages, is now a stylin hipster sandwich shop. The decor is top rotch, that's right, four letters above notch. Yep, high ceilings, cool colors, steel I beams and 3 garage doors that open to the Broadway surf! Really rad! The music is quite cool and new as well. The bathrooms look modern and the concert posters were no doubt organized by a Type A with a degree wall space management. Now my sandwich expertise has depth and layers so the menu was enticing. The first sandwich I saw was the 12" Prime Rib so I ordered that toasted with mushrooms and horseradish. I added Zapp's New Orleans Voodoo Chips and a Raspberry iced tea. $16.69 total. The sandwich was good, but needed more horseradish. If you are a fan of horseradish like me order it on the side so you can see how much you're getting. The sandwich itself was toasted and reminded me of Quiznos a little. The Voodoo chips, however, stuck a pin in my taste buds! I fell into a spectacular chip trance! Now my chip experience has oil-well depth and I will put these chips against any in our galaxy. This view is unlikely to change unless someone pokes my voodoo doll with another pin to cancel the trance. Raspberry tea was a perfect compliment to the chips and sandwich. Normally I would not return for a sandwich at this price point, but while I was eating I noticed some awesome vegan and veggie options so I'll be back. Plus the outdoor seating looks amazing and there are many places to park Derby dog along the rail. I will be sure to update this review after I eat a half dozen sandwiches. Right now I'm at 3.5 so I rounded up. The most difficult part is the price point so I'll watch for deals! I might just stop on my walks and let the chips fall where they may. Yum ;-) read more

Solid sandwiches, no pretense. Great spot to pick up food on the way home from work. I always get the "pro" sando thinking I'll save half for lunch the next day, but I never do. No regrets. Only downside is that it's a little spendy but I keep coming back. Oh, and if you like screaming kids and apathetic parents, def come in for lunch on a weekend. The large dining area with high ceilings and concrete floors echo the screaming to a level that will make you never want to have your own. Anyway, I digress. Thus far, I've had the Italian (several times), Pastrami, and the Super Club from the "Not on the Menu" menu. Nothing earth-shattering, but always solid. Fresh ingredients, generous amounts of meat and that warm toasty bread that I love and the roof of my mouth loathes. It all just comes together perfectly. Now, if only they could step up their sides. The potato and macaroni salad are flat out terrible, total waste of money. Cookies, too. I got an order delivered and my cookie was 4 days old and tasted like the plastic wrap it came in. Grab some chips, can't go wrong there. While this isn't gourmet, it's a huge step up from the chain shops. Service is pretty friendly but can be hit or miss. And if there's a line, no worries. I am no longer a Snarf virgin! No, I am not talking about that cute comical character from the ThunderCats. I'm talking about the Boulder-based sandwich shop. Starting out as one sandwich restaurant in Boulder, this restaurant chain has grown to 17 locations in Colorado, 4 locations in St. Louis, Missouri and 2 in Austin, Texas. Friday I visited the location on South Broadway right at noon. With ample parking and no one around I wondered about the popularity of this location. However, within 10 minutes there was a long line reaching the door. Many customers had ordered online and were picking up large orders for their entire office. For my inaugural experience I chose the traditional "Italian."  It contained all of the normal meats and cheeses that you would expect stacked in a thin toasted white loaf. It was excellent! The bread was excellent! It wasn't too thick or doughy like many sandwich delis. The ambiance of the South Broadway location was fun and hip. It seems that it was once an automotive establishment. You get the feeling of an old-time drive-in with picnic tables outside, and the same inside. Quite spacious and colorful this location also displays many posters from local performing venues. The sandwich artists are fun and seemed to take pride in their work. There was quite the assembly line of six team members when I was there. I will certainly be back, and will think of this place to get lunch for the office. read more

I was pretty impressed with this place! My husband and I were in the area and pretty hungry, so we decided to stop in and split a sandwich. I wanted the Italian (my go to, usually) but we decided on the 12 inch Prime Rib & provolone sandwich on white. We had them add the regular toppings. It didn't take long for our sandwich to be ready. It comes wrapped in 2 large pieces of deli/sandwich paper, and ours was cut in half since it was the larger sandwich. Holy cow I love this sandwich. The hot gardiniera peppers were perfect on it. I'm kind of wimpy about spicy food, but on the sandwich it was perfect! The bread was perfectly toasty and crusty. The meat to bread to toppings ratio was perfect. Honestly I kept saying over and over how much I loved this sandwich. This place is not super cheap, but it is 100% worth every penny. They also have a dedicated section on their menu for gluten free items and the vegetarian items are marked. The space was modern and clean. The menu is pretty large. They have regular and specialty sandwiches, which all mostly come hot. The also have sandwiches, soup, milkshakes, ice cream, and Zapp's chips. Second time here and second disappointment. Last time my portobello mushroom sandwich had what looked like canned mushrooms & tasted horrible. Today, I ordered the Snarf's Salad and as you can see, they didn't even chop all the meat cheese. It was whole slices of meat and literally sliced cheese in the top. Not sure why I continue to order from here. Every single time I get the wrong fucking sandwich. I always order mobile because I refuse to wear a mask and assume that they can read your order. Apparently not. I've yet to get the correct order and for $10 a sandwich they should be made as requested. Skipped a review last time but I'll write this one while I wait for my sandwich to be remade. So last time I asked for a side of banana peppers for my sandwich. I love Snarfs. This Broadway location is definitely not like the others. They cheated our meatball Parmesan sandwich of at least 4 meatballs. Half of the 12 inch had sufficient meatballs and the other half had two. I ate basically a marinara sauce sandwich. Consistency is everything. Have not had this experience at any others. read more
