Decor is typical Mexican sit down restaurant, very brightly colored and lots of historical Mexico imagery - eagles and Mayans and Aztecs and the like. They do bring you some chips and salsa to snack on, and it's a good sized bowl of salsa. I went with Brenda's enchilada which says it has "spicy chicken" but in my opinion the chicken wasn't spicy and I'd say it wasn't even seasoned either. I did get some extra green sauce to put on it after the fact which did kick the spice up a notch and had a good flavor to go with the heat. There are several Mexican restaurants in Mooresville, and this is one of them.

Their dining rooms are always welcoming and a comfortable place to eat your meal. They afford more privacy than most places too. Service was very fast all around. I was greeted immediately upon walking through the door. My server, Jennifer, was super attentive. All of the food arrived quickly. I ordered the Admiral's Feast which is Walt's Favorite Shrimp, Wild-Caught Flounder, Clam Strips and Bay Scallops, all fried to a golden-brown. For the two sides, I went with the Steamed Broccoli and the Coleslaw. I am a big time fan of shrimp and have been for years but today the clam strips were the number one item on this huge seafood platter. They were cooked perfectly and tasted awesome! I could have easily ate a second portion of them before devouring everything else. Every fried item was good. They had a light and crunchy breading that tasted pretty good. The steamed broccoli was superb with its generous buttery coating. The coleslaw portion was huge; way more than I could eat but a nice compliment to the large meal I ordered. I did not taste the complimentary bread on the table. For dessert I ordered the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake. The whipped cream topping had shavings of the vanilla beans. I don't recall seeing that before and I think it made the vanilla flavor stand out even more. Vanilla is my favorite flavor and this dessert hit the spot. We had dinner and our waitress, Brooke, was very sweet, attentive, and friendly. I had the two grilled chicken breasts and two sides, dumplins and coleslaw. I liked this chicken option because it was low calorie and only had spices on it, no sauce. My husband had the breakfast burger and two sides, hash brown casserole and coleslaw. He ordered his burger medium-rare and it came out well-done, which was disappointing. He also didn't realize the burger came topped with hash brown casserole, so he had a lot of casserole he couldn't finish. Also, we had the biscuits and corn muffins. I liked the taste of the biscuit but the corn muffin was awful. My husband thought the corn muffin was fine, he put butter and jelly on it.

I placed my order via the app expecting a streamlined experience, but I ended up waiting 18 minutes at the drive-thru window, even though I was the only person in line. Additionally, the intercom system is extremely difficult to hear; the volume is far too low and the audio is cracked with static, which made communication very frustrating. I hope these issues with the app integration and equipment can be addressed, as they currently detract from an otherwise great food experience.

Today I went through the drive thru, and the line moved very quickly. The employee was very friendly and I had my food in no time. Many factors go into a pizza choice when out of town; distance, pricing and most important, a place we've never tried before. We looked up Not Just Pizza and it looked like the place for us. They have a decent website but you have to call in your order since they don't have an online ordering system set up. The gentleman who answered the phone was the nicest person in the State of Indiana. He took our order and informed us that Not Just Pizza does BOGO on all their pizzas every day!!! And their prices are five years ago prices. Very impressive. We ordered two small pizzas and an order of breadsticks, and were quoted a 45 minute wait. 30 minutes later there was a knock at the door and another very kind gentleman dropped off our food with a smile. He even ran back to his car and grabbed my ranch dressing that he forgot!! All with a smile! The pizzas looked delicious and tasted just how they looked!! My hubby got his with pepperoni and bacon, and I got mushrooms and extra cheese. WOW. SO GOOD!!! Their breadsticks were terrific as well! So soft!! On to night number two; normally we would pick a completely different place just to mix it up. We couldn't do it. We had to order Not Just Pizza again. We called them up, and another extremely kind fella answered, took our order and gave us a wait time of an hour and 15 minutes. 40 minutes later, there was a knock at the door and there was the same nice man from yesterday! This time the hubby got pepp and sausage, and I got pepp and hot peppers. Plus we ordered jalapeno poppers and hot wings. We were not disappointed!!!! The wings are plain and they give you the hot sauce to dip them in, which worked great since the hubby likes them plain. And those poppers were off the chain delicious!!!
