On 23 May 2025 I ordered a burrito with white rice, chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, corn, queso, and sour cream, with the nachos and the spicy, medium and tomatillo salsa. What has happened to the quality restaurants in the last 10 years, including Moe's?!! Aside from the cost going up 50-60% in the last 5 years, the quality of employee, food, cleanliness, and ambience has plummeted. We went to Moe's Sunday evening and started at the Victor, NY location. We walked in, were not greeted and waited for 10 minutes for the one employee to help 3 people in front of us. We noticed the dining room was dirty, table tops not cleaned, debris on the floor and the area where they make your food was trashed. It looked like the various toppings had not been stocked for hours and the food that was there appeared disgusting. Between the poor slow service, dirty environment and gross appearance of the food, we left for the Henrietta Moe's. We walked into the Henrietta Moe's and were not greeted nor did the single employee working behind the counter even talk with us. The guy we would characterize as a thug mumbled as he pointed to various proteins and toppings, which we were able to luckily decipher. We noticed that the proteins and toppings were not stocked and messy like the Moe's in Victor. We started talking about how Moe's restaurants have gone down hill in terms of cleanliness, customer service and quality in food over the last several years. We ordered and received our food, which was ok. However, as we went to get sauces one of the employees had removed all the sauces and had half the chairs in the restaurant on the tables an hour before closing!! Honestly, who does that? Also, we noticed the floors didn't appear as though they had been swept all day and were littered with debris, chips and assorted toppings. Another thing we noticed is that the stainless in both Moe's restaurants don't look like they had been wiped down is weeks. They were covered in dirt and oil. Have not gotten food at Moe's in over 10 years. Was in the Henrietta area and decided do an order for pick up for myself and my daughter. It was a simple order: 3 tacos, a cup of queso and chips and a kids meal for my daughter. I got out to the car and double checked the order before leaving to realize they left out half the order - no queso and all parts of the kids meal except the taco were missing. Honestly, I get things can go wrong - so I wasn't upset - went back in and showed the receipt and explained what was missing and I can't believe how rude the staff was back - I was met with no apologies, but rude looks and attitude while they got the rest of the order together. I walked in and wasn't greeted that's cool. When my friend ordered the guy didn't even look at her and had some weird attitude. He also was moving like a sloth idk what he had going on. It's almost embarrassing how many times I've been here. I've been coming for years, and used to almost always go on Moe Wednesdays (which is now Moe Monday, which is around when I stopped going). I wouldn't be surprised if it was well over 100 times. I'm never close to this one anymore, and I had a terrible experience at the Webster location, so I've stopped going to Moe's. Moe's used to be my absolute favorite Mexican food though. I love their queso and their tofu. And the Moe Monday deal is pretty good; a burrito, chips and a drink for $6.99. You can get the Homewrecker burrito, so you can add queso or guacamole at no charge, and they have a Coke freestyle machine, so there's endless possibilities for your drink. I was in the area and it was a Monday, so I decided to give it another chance. This location has always had the best food. I must have hit it just right because there was no line. No one greeted me with the "welcome to Moe's", and a couple employees just stared at me, but eventually someone came to make my food. The service here is often weird, and if there's a line it can take a little bit, but the food here is the best, and in the end, that's the part that really matters. The tables are usually a little crummy, and there's almost always a line for the pop machine. Two employees actually went in front of me while I was here, which I found a little weird. However, my food and drink were good, and I'd missed Moe's. I still think I'm done with the other locations, but when I want to get my Moe's fix, I'll go back to this one. read more

I haven't been to a Moe's in a while and this location is a never again! There was no "Welcome to Moe's" when we arrived, no big deal. The one server was not real enthusiastic, the other was very pleasant. The food was okay but the seating area was disgusting, tables were dirty there was debris all over the floor and the salsa area was messy and no "hot" salsa it was also freezing. After eating I used the restroom which was absolutely disgusting, no other way to describe it, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a month. Stay away from this place. read more

I recently visited this location. I tried to review them through their receipt, like many other fast food restaurants allow. Unfortunately, you have to create an account etc, which i dont want to do. When we walked in, staff appeared disinterested in being there. The employee that took our order barely spoke and when he did, he mumbled so badly we really couldnt understand him. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and my child ordered a chicken burrito. The employee put sooooo much cheese on mine that it melted into just an inedible block, and the other employee had significant difficulty folding it over into something that kinda resembled a quesadilla. The chicken in my quesadilla and my childs burrito was so extrememely salty, that niether of us could finish half of it. Their chips were fried in big clumps which left them stuck together and pools of oil dripped from them. Gross! Ive been to other Moes before, and noticed a trend that their restaurants lack any recognizable oversite or management and the food lacks significant quality. Their bathrooms are usually filthy, as was the case at this restaurant, and i usually have to wipe down a table as they are rarely clean. How is this place still in business? Yay, I'm a fan! Is the perfect description of Moes. Obviously they welcome you with a warm welcoming, "WELCOME TO MOES" (who doesn't like to be greeted)?!!? How I describe Moe's for someone who has never been is... Subway but Mexican Style LOL Their menu is extensive with creative American twists on Mexican food. The quality food is fresh and with abundant of options and you are able to make any variations you want - no extra charge. The serving sizes are HUGE and at a beyond decent price! We just had about THE most HORRIFIC service and quality of food possible from this chain. My husband and daughter went in to order takeout. The restaurant was filthy. Although the order was correct, the food itself was tepid and mediocre. The chips were very stale and not only did my daughter's meal contain a hair, there was one floating in our queso. I love Moe's! So my daughter and I are on WW. We both had a lot of points left for the day so we wanted to splurge.. something other than baked chicken! We walked into 5 Guys in Henrietta ... looked up the burger points on the WW app and decided we couldn't do it. So we walked right next door to Moe's. My daughter had the burrito bowl with chicken. I had my usual Joey Jr. with Chicken (yes I know.. chicken!), smidge of rice, little bit of cheese and pinto beans. Mmmm mmmm! The wrap was big (even for a Jr haha) and the points were about 1/2 of what a little cheeseburger would have been. And the wrap was more filling. I couldn't eat the entire thing. Now don't get me wrong, I like 5 guys too! But for what we wanted - to stay within our WW points for the day - we got excellent and filling food. Quality is always good here. My best friend used Moe's for my bridal shower vs. wegmans, my bridal shower was fiesta theme! Moe's had tofu and meat options and the delivered!! Moe's was a lot less compared to wegmans! The day before the shower they even called my best friend to confirm and make sure they were all set to go! To this day two months later I still hear about the food my friends and family had at my bridal shower. They loved the taco buffet idea! Everyone was able to make their own taco or taco salad. Whether it was vegan, vegetarian or a meat lovers! It was awesome and I would do it again in a heartbeat! I've been an occasional visitor to this Moe's over the years, being close to college campuses. (dubbed the "plaza of indecision" since Five Guys and Joe's Brooklyn next door). Portions have always been generous, even as prices have crept up. Dining area (pre-COVID) isn't as big as some other locations, although usually kept clean. Unfortunately, there were misses during few recent visits. The food quality didn't seem as good and sometimes were mistakes in my order (missing salsa, ordered steak but got chicken). Some staff also seemed unenthusiastic, a definite contrast from previous visits. It's disappointing since I've preferred this location over others in the area. read more

Pros: Portion Size Many Topping Choices Fun Greeting Cons: Long lines (think high school cafeteria) The many flies I saw sitting on the divider The sloppy-messy salsa bar 1 Soda machine = yet another long line Prices While I like the generous portions, I dislike the lack of "freshness" in some of the items. The rice and several of the salsas don't do it for me. Also, I didn't think their guac was anything special. I have eaten at Moe's locations all over Rochester and I have to say this is one of the better locations to go to. The chefs behind the counter are always nice and greet you with a friendly, "Welcome to Moe's!" The food is consistent and the quality seems better than other locations. The queso at Moe's is better than Chipotle and Qdoba. The chefs are always very nice and willing to give you extra of most foods without an extra up charge. I will say my only gripe would be that the cleanliness is a bit lacking every time I seem to go. I would definitely recommend this location if you are ever near Henrietta. read more

Definitely the best Moe's in our area. This location has excellent customer service, staff is usually pleasant, helpful and accurate orders. They are not stingy with ingredients and don't "huff and sigh" when you ask for more fresh veggies than they initially put on. Other location in the area literally I think uses half the amount of meat on the burritos - by my observation only. I personally think Moe's meats don't have the overall depth of flavor when compared to others but I usually get Bean/Veggies Burritos so this isn't a big deal to me. I love the fresh array of ingredients to choose from and enjoy the raw jalapenos, cilantro, plenty of fresh Pico and the pickled jalapenos as choices. Their self service salsas and hot sauce are great - including the rotating seasonal variety - right now is pineapple and I love it. My favorite thing here is the Queso! Love the Queso - have to get the small size because I know that I would eat it all myself. They give you plenty of chips included in all purchase and they are great. Also love the Coke Freestyle machine. read more

Their food is good I've been very happy most of the visits, I get the same order every time. I get a steak burrito with rice and cheese. Occasionally the steak is grizzly however, but why I'm not giving them five stars is (depending on your random luck, or karma), they can be very stingy with the amount of even the rice, let alone the steak and the cheese they put on such a simple burrito. And it's clearly a grueling place to work, and I don't think any of the people were having fun there. And half of the time when you ask them nicely if they could put a little bit more steak on when they clearly put an amount that is not even quite a full scoop that they use To clearly measure the serving size of each ingredient, some of them will happily give you a little bit more of the missing amount. but some of them, because they just are tired and want to go home and have a cold or don't feel like it, because it cannot be a terribly fun place to work. Whoever Moe is, he must be some of slave driver. So, for instance, my visit just now, about 15 minutes before they are due to close, the person helping me said that they will say they can do that but they have to charge me for it. and while he was preparing the burrito, he coughed and it did not sound like a very good call, so either he's a smoker who is trying to quit, or he is under the weather, but needs the money so he showed up for work, as they probably don't get sick pay, sadly. So I walked out of there with a steak rice and cheese burrito, with nothing extra on it, except for a reasonable amount of ingredients, which I had to ask for, and I was told they would have to charge more. As with only three ingredients going in a burrito, it's reasonable that they would try to make the burrito a little fuller of the mere three ingredients. Otherwise it would look like a small hotdog. But my burrito cost about $12 as a result. I make this comparison to The chain called Baja Fresh, which is largely on the West Coast but it's also in places like Baltimore in Maryland, and they do not scan at all on my standard issue "steak rice and cheese burrito". And they charge less. But it comes down to the corporate management, who is paying these people probably barely over minimum-wage, and because we have Trump in office, that is still a far cry from $15 an hour: Another reason why the people who work there do not seem genuinely happy about their standing on their feet all day, having to make a shout out whenever somebody walks in the door, and slinging above average fast food, but for very dispiriting wages, no doubt. read more

I used to go to this one a lot before Moe's decided to jazz up the steak to the point where it, well, didn't taste like steak anymore. I remember going up to the cashier, thinking that they had messed up the order by giving me pork or some other kind of weird mystery meat, and it took about a minute or two for me to believe this was actually the new version of steak that Moe's had decided upon. This place used to be great. It's gone downhill. Every single table is dirty. They give a small amt of chips and toss your burrito on top so the chips are all broken. Three o'clock pm is probably not the best time to go to Moe's as most likely the meats will be pretty dried out unless they have really conscientious management.I had an unexpected cancellation of an appointment and decided to take the risk.I should know better!The TexMex burritos become pretty big as you go down the line picking fillings.They also give you plenty of chips and salsa.I never finish the burrito or the chips.I will add that franchisee should invest a little bit of money to repair some of booth seating.Its looking a little shabby and tired.Business seems to support a bit of fixing up. read more
