I empathize with the fact they had an issue getting the two front ones off. The reason for being irritated is the fact that normally having them check the air is free. I had a tip ready for them and the guy who checked the tires tells me his boss is mad because it was taking too long to get the two stem covers off, then proceeded to tell me it was going to now cost me $20 plus tax was added. I didn't have the money to begin with and have now overdrafted to pay for something I was not expecting, especially since I wasn't told prior to them taking them off. Had I known I wouldn't have had them do it. I previously gave 5 stars but today I feel like they did me dirty. So I won't be returning.

I used to always go to NTB at the corner of Warrensville Center and Mayfield, but they demonstrated total incompetence one too many times. So, I went to Enger's Goodyear, a stone's throw away, and despite the fact that they were not busy and didn't close for more than 2 more hours, they told me they'd take me on an appointment - tomorrow. I needed tire lovin' TODAY. After making a snide comment about not wanting my money, I vaguely remembered a shady looking tire joint at South Green and Monticello. I rolled in at ten 'til close and asked the guy if he could help me out. In the good ol' American entrepreneurial spirit, he was happy to take my money and do an excellent job. They even loaded my freshly mounted wheel/tire combos into the back of my friend's truck for me. The guy that owns the place told me the price, or should I say SUGGESTED a price, and asked if I thought it was fair. Having had this same service performed twice a year for several years at NTB, I felt that it was more than fair. Never Again!!!! this is lengthy,but it needs to be told…read more On thursday 10/16/28,I went to Dunham Tires @ 6137 Dunham Rd to get my front passenger tire checked out.I was told there was a leak around the rim,and they can seal it and it'll be $25 + $2.00 for debit card.I paid and was On my way! Later that evening tire pressure light came back on so I put air in the tire,light went off,but I noticed that the valve cap that I had on the tire was not the same cap.My caps were BMW caps(see illustration)I took my car back on Friday morning,told a whole different crew about the tire and the cap.They then removed the tire and did the l OK soap & water test,in which they didn't do on thursday.I was told by the owner there was a small hole in the tire and it'll cost me $25!! I said "had they did it right yesterday they would've known this,so why do I have to pay again"? This man got irate and said"do you want it done or not"? I said "yeah,I want it done, but why should I have to pay again,and how are they going to compensate for the valve cap"? he said"ok! I'll charge you $15" I said "I'm not paying again "! this disrespectful fool became aggressive called me a slave,a bitch and then put his finger in my face and balled his fist like he was going to hit me! I told him I was calling the police and he said"get the fuck outta here" and I said," I'm not going no damn where until the police get here,mutha fucka'! oh yeah I'm at the height of my pisstivity at this level and I had my 89 yr old dear Mother with me and she became so scared I thought she was going to have a heart attack or stroke out!! The police finally came about 20 minutes later,and I told the officer my side and how he threatened me and he asked" do I want to file a report "of course! Another officer spoke with him and he said he didn't put his finger in my face or ball his fist in a threatening manner.The officer said he will look at the camera,but after coming from inside I was told the camera or the TV wasn't working at that time.Go figure,right? He told the officer he would plug the tire " as a favor,but he doesn't want me to come back " as though I would ever go back anyway.I told the officer I didn't trust him and he said he will stay until he had finished.He did a half ass & subpar plug job with red stuff sticking out of the plug.When he finished I even thanked this rude and disrespectful person.He said "ok" and proceeded to tell the officer some BS about "this wasn't personal"but I was getting in my car because I was so upset and pissed and thought I may have to go to ER for my blood pressure,in which I just started taking medication for in September.I'm going today to file the report,because I'm sure this is not the first time he has disrespected a black woman like this,and I still don't have my BMW valve cap. -- feeling angry.

They were going to rip off a single mother of 3. 700.00 to replace a hose? Oh, that's because the hoses come in packs of 2, even though Sharon needed 1 hose replaced, they were going to charge her for an extra part, that they were not going to use on her car. I know parts are expensive, but that's ridiculous. She told them that was too much and called around and M & S Auto's estimate was for 260.00. They recognized the dire need of a working Mom. They had compassion for her situation and helped her. They fixed her car in 20 minutes, instead of the Tuesday, originally stated. She had her car towed to Auto Repair Inc.1st. They did a diagnostic test on her car. They charged her 70.00 for that, and gave her the 700.00 estimate. When she wisely declined, she tried to pay the bill with her credit card over the phone. They refused to take payment over the phone, and refused to release her car to the towing company. She was sick, with 3 kids, I gave her a ride to the shop to pay in person. They made her wait around the desk, while the workers stood around, taking another customers info over the phone. One guy told her to quit asking questions. What type of men take advantage of a woman, who is obviously sick and struggling. Speak to her in a way that she comes out sobbing, at her wits end. SHAME ON YOU AUTO REPAIR INC.
