I'm probably one of the few people that will ever this sentence" I do not like Chipotle. The mass-produced, fast cafeteria style of food never impressed me. Items would be cold, unevenly portioned, and way too salty. I admittedly walked into Moho with similar expectations. Boy am I glad I was wrong. Their quesadillas and Birria tacos are amazing. Really generous meat portions (that Sweet and Spicy chicken is ELITE) and really fresh tasting grilled veggies and corn. Everything is flavored to absolute perfection, and the result is a cheesy, crunchy, and perfectly juicy quesadilla. Their Birria Tacos, however, are the star of the show. The birria absolutely melts in your mouth and is SO flavorful, rich, and deep. I could eat that meat on sandpaper and it would still taste good. The cheese is sharp which helps to cut through the richness of the meat, and the taco shell is perfectly crispy. The best part is that it's NOT TOO SALTY. Moho has managed to pack in the flavor without overdoing it in the salt department, which is crazy. Squeeze the lime onto the tacos, and I guarantee you'll fall in love. I gotta make a special shoutout to the habanero salsa. Oh my god. This salsa is, hands down, the best salsa I have ever had. It's not too spicy, I actually think it could be even spicier, but the FLAVOR. There's lime, chilis, I think garlic and some other ingredients of goodness that just tastes so good. Dipping everything into this salsa is MANDATORY. Quesadilla? Dunk it. Chips? Dunk it. Birria Tacos? Dunk it and then dunk them into the consumme. It's truly a work of art. read more

I was craving Birria Tacos and stumbled across this place on yelp. And for $12.95 for 3 Birria Tacos I just had to give this place a try. It was honestly a great bang for the buck and the tacos were very filling as it was tasty. They also give you some onions that you can put in as well or eat on the side. The elote was average but I don't think it's worth 5 dollars. The chips and Queso on the other hand were very good. The layout of the menu is very similar to QDoba and chipotle. Located right on the strip of Bell Blvd. thanks to one of my Yelp friends, I had noticed they had checked in here and I had to ask how was the food and they automatically raved about it, to the point where I had to try it out for myself!! Moho gives you that Qdoba/ chipotle lineup of food where you can build a bowl, burrito, salad, nachos and even a quesadilla.. One thing that makes Moho stand out from the rest of the other establishments is the flavors and the portions!! I love that they have such a big arrangement of protein and sides!! The chipotle mayo give it that spicy kick that packs so much flavor with all the other mixtures!!! But let me take a time out for the Birria Tacos!!! I have tried some Birria tacos from other places and so far this one hits totally different!! They are SOOOOO DELICIOUS!! The beef is nicely marinated and super tender!! The pickled onions and lime squeeze on the side is a perfect touch cause when u add a zest of the lime and add some of the pickled onions inside your tacos it adds even more of a party in your mouth!! Me working in Jackson heights and always eating churros, I had to get some to finish off my meal and I wished they were hot off the press but the flavors of the churros stuffed with caramel is such a perfect combo!! My family and I were in the mood for Mexican yesterday. I personally am not a fan of chipotle . I think it's the cilantro in their rice? I'm not sure but anyhoo, this place. DELICIOUs!!!! Our Mexican nanny said their bowl was amazing. Her parents own a Birria taco shop back in Mexico so she knows good tacos and birria tacos! She said it was on pare with real Mexican flavors. She also said the churro was amazing as well. If a real Mexican from Mexico said it's good, it's good. Haha Our 1 year old daughter is a foodie and LOVED Their chicken quesadilla. The second she had a piece, she said MMMMMMM more! She does spit out food she doesn't like. And lastly my Hubbie who hates dry chicken also said the chicken bowl , which I got was really good!! The consume was a tad salty but it was still good and went well with the tacos. It was slightly greasier than I'd like it to be but I still truly enjoyed it. My only complaint is that I placed an online order at 11:15 am for my order to be ready at 12:30pm - I came to pick up during my lunch break and my order was not ready. I did not receive my order till 12:52, which is slightly outrageous. The more annoying part of it was that the workers didn't seem to care and was just nonchalant about me waiting almost 30 plus minutes for an order I placed a head of time. My new favorite place. I will never eat at chipotle ever again after discovering this place. The chimi churri sauce is so good. I usually get the steak bowl. They don't skimp like chipotle does, the rice to meat ratio is perfect! I also love the birria tacos. I would get the birria pie every time if I could but it is a lot of food. Moho really has some amazing food. The flavor of literally everything is astounding. I get the same thing every time and it always comes out perfectly. I get a steak burrito bowl with all the fixings, the birria tacos, and chips with queso. Even the chips are loaded with flavor. I'm allergic to avocado and, when I've gone to other Mexican spots, I've gotten sick despite telling them of my allergy. But Moho has always been very vigilant with my allergy and I feel safe ordering from them. 10/10! read more

This Local spot opened not too long ago. They have a very nicely decorated interior, the food is made to order in front of the customers. Options run from tacos, tacos de birria (only 3 days a week), burritos, nachos etc... Proteins range from meat and chicken, tofu and also vegan friendly impossible meat. My order was the tacos de birria which consists of three tacos made in the broth the beef was simmered in and get griddled along with the broth for a crunchy and cheesy heavenly combo. I'm so happy I was craving this on a Tuesday which is one of the days they offer the tacos de birria. All I have to say is it was delicious! The textures were just right and the flavors of course, were what really had me stunned. Saw that a new Mexican spot opened up in Bayside area, so as a new taco aficionado, I had to check it out! Moho Mexican Grill is an interesting place because it offers multiple options and functions as a fast-casual restaurant that serves birria tacos on the side. I only got the birria, so I won't be talking about the burrito/taco/nacho/bowl/salad/quesadilla options you can get, but I would definitely try them next time. I had to get the birria of course because birria is probably one of the trendiest food items to hit the NYC area. If you don't know what birria tacos are, they are recognizable due to the orange/reddish tinge the tortillas have when they are dipped into a broth that has been simmering for hours with beef/goat chunks and a bunch of other herbs and spices. Anyways, now that I knew that Bayside offered birria tacos, I had to make my way there to try them. You can get them as a set of 3 tacos for slightly under $10 or as a meal with a side of broth and salad for almost $15. I would opt for the meal, as you'll be wanting to dip those tacos into the broth for some spicy, savory goodness. It's almost a crime to not dip your tacos in the broth honestly, as they were made to be together. This is especially true here, as I felt the birria was a bit dry here compared to other places and the tortillas were soggy and not as fresh off the grill as I'd like them to be. However, the depth of flavor in the broth offsets some of those problems, as you're mostly tasting herbaceous, spicy flavors when you dunk those tacos. You see, the tacos are merely the vehicle that brings the broth to your taste buds. I did think the broth was a tad too spicy though as it was hard to drink it alone and the broth portion felt a bit small, but fortunately, the freshness of the salad helped balance it out. Despite its shortcomings, the tacos were huge, so you do end up satisfied with the entire meal. I also tried the elote (corn on the cob with some cheese and spices sprinkled on top with a mayo-like sauce) and that was easily the best thing I had at Moho, so that's definitely worth trying. The elote was creamy, savory, and not too heavy, a perfect finish to my meal. Honestly, getting the birria meal with the elote made me feel like I was in LA at a taqueria instead of a typical fast-casual spot that offered plenty of options, which it did. Overall, if you never had birria before and are in the area, it's definitely worth a try and it may open you up to something you would like, but never had the chance to try. Otherwise, it's still worth a try if you like your typical burrito or taco as the hospitality was still great since they knew a lot of people were waiting on birria orders and made sure to accommodate for all of them when I was there. They're also taking precautions for COVID with the plexiglas barriers between you and the staff and all of the staff was wearing masks as well. read more
