The couple who owns and operates Mojo really knows the burger business from the ingredients that make the products to the service you interact with. For a burger comparison it might not be a perfect one, but I'd say this is similar to a Whopper done right. They are delicious. Also, they have the awesome ice cream that makes the perfect shake. Completely mediocre. The meat was ok but under seasoned. The bun was a total afterthought. Plain white bread, crumbly. Tasted and looked like a bun I'd get on a burger at a school carnival. Totally generic.Veggies on top were fine. The fries have a strange batter coating, so it's obvious they're preseasoned and frozen. The lemonade and iced tea tasted watered down. I was surprised that all meals "for here" are bagged and they don't use trays. I get that with bigger, busier restaurants, but it seems like a waste of bags with a place this size. Completely average burger at a high price. Fries are excellent. They're still freaked out about Cooties 19 here which was over 4 years ago. They still have the huge plexiglass window with a tiny hole in it on the counter, so communicating with the mumbling low-talker taking your order is next to impossible, and the pens to sign your receipt are floating in some weird kind of goo. She got my order partially correct at least. The owners and workers scowl at you like they're angry to take your $40 for a couple burgers and some french fries. Well Mr and Mrs Mojo still have their Mojo working. My fries were a perfect crispy outside and yummy inside. The cheddar cheese burger with diced grilled onions really hit the spot. I had the garden burger and it was good, I sometimes appreciate a simple vegetarian burger. My boyfriend got the triple burger and he enjoyed it. I appreciate that neither one of us felt gross after the meal, these burgers were not greasy, which is a huge plus. The fries were a little too crisp for my liking but they weren't bad. Mojo Burger is a true staple in the community! If I were to describe their burgers, it would be "A Fourth of July Backyard Burger." It tastes like a good burger made in someone's home!! Although their prices are quite high for a burger, you should reconsider that their beef is made from grass-fed cows. Their snacks are super tasty, especially during the hot summers! The only problem I have noticed is the lack of friendly service or a "service with a smile." Every time I walk in, I always see the owner staring at me as if I had done something terrible, and it makes me feel uncomfortable when I place my order. I have been eating at Mojo Burger since 2014 when I moved into this beautiful Willow Glenn neighborhood, and I have loved it every time. They somehow managed to make a Beyond Burger taste delicious. It's a mom and pop owned and operated business. The owner took our order. Reasonable prices. Kids meal. My son got a cheeseburger best for him was the sticky hand toy. He enjoyed the burger but. In my pic you'll see the bun is much larger than the burger. He had bitten into it at least 3/4 times and hadn't tasted meat. He questioned if it had meat. He's 6. The meal came with fries and a drink. The quantity of food was perfect for him. Everything was fresh and warm. I ordered the jr. burger with chipotle mayo. I didn't taste it but the burger was decent. We ordered fries and sweet potatoes fries. They were both crispy and tasty. My husband ordered the western burger or something like that. Bacon was thick and cooked the way I like a little extra and onion ring was huge and crunchy. He enjoyed it. My daughter ordered the mojo salad. The greens were fresh and crunchy. Had a nice size price of grilled chicken. She said the salad was yummy. She had left over lettuce. And they provide the sealed packets of ranch for salad. read more

It has been at least two years since we have eaten at Mojo Burger. The pandemic has complicated things a bit; but, not too much. Everyone was respectful and wearing masks even children. We sat inside, well away from other patrons, because all the outside tables were filled by a girl's soccer team. We ordered Single Classic Burgers, fries, and fountain drinks. I was surprised at the fountain drinks because the pandemic has caused most places to close their soda machines. The fries were excellent. It was good that we only got one order because we would have eaten way too many fries. The burgers were, as the name says, classically delicious. "Elite" Yelp reviewer John D's comment about the angus burgers always coming out dry is incorrect. We've eaten there for years and most often I have a turkey burger -- but today Is had the angus burger and it was tasty, hot, and not dry. It was grilled to perfection. The fries are among the best ever -- crunchy and tasty, and certainly outstanding compared to limp, soggy fast food fries. Their sweet potato fries are similar - the sweetness is just enough and again, perfect crunch. They stay hot for a long time, too. And OMG the onion rings are so so good. Always crunchy and never oily. i sometimes get a half and half of fries and onion rings, and it's worth an extra buck to get that. Pescatarians will love their grilled tilapia. And I always request a whole wheat bun. And most places like this are treating orders as take-out, and it's for our safety, until variants are under control. A classic car group meets there every Thursday late afternoon, regularly. They get great service and appreciate the hospitality. I must also disagree with John D.'s snarky pondering about a reason for Mojo to be down to one location. John should try running a small eatery/fast food place for a year or two and he'd learn that it takes very few shifts in our economy for these tightly-priced places to struggle on occasion. If you like a super sweet milkshake and greasy, fatty hamburger-this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a quality burger and a creamy rich (not too sweet) shake that will not cause any digestive issues, Mojo's is perfect. The onion rings, fries, chili dogs (one of my favorites) are excellent! According to their sign the burger has won many awards and they have been here for 17 years. This Mojo Burger was located in a small plaza in the middle of a neighborhood. In my opinion, this might be a bad location because the closest busy street that I can think of right now would be Curtner Ave which was a few blocks over. That might not bring in as many customers but word of mouth can go a long way so come here! I never went to any Mojo Burger locations but this one seemed to be closest to me. I had a late lunch but there were a few people inside. This place probably opened not too long ago because there were no menus on the walls. Instead, they had laminated menus for you to look at. There was a sign on a few windows that they were hiring cooks. That told me right away this place hasn't been opened that long. I decided to order the Mushroom Swiss Burger combo which was $8.73 total. It came with fries and a drink. My brother ordered the same thing but also the Mojo Burger with cheese (without tax was $4.79). Our orders were ready a couple of minutes after we ordered. I tried half of my brother's Mojo Burger with cheese and it was pretty good. I added some of Frank's Red Hot sauce that was near the ketchup pump. It wasn't hot to me but I would have liked Cholula Hot Sauce. The Mushroom Swiss Burger was okay and I found it weird that they put the swiss cheese below the patty. I've always seen the cheese placed on top of the patty but I guess this place doesn't do that. Just look at the pictures and you'll know what I mean. The fries were okay as well. This could probably seat 30 or 35 people. The staff were pretty nice and kept the place looking clean. They had two LCD tv's - one in each corner of the place.
