I was a bit disappointed with this place. Cool vibe and they are open late. They have outdoor seating and some cards and board games. Menu does not match the prices that staff charges for drinks. I ordered a latte that was $8 and was charged $9 and I questioned it. They said they just hadn't updated their signage. I thought that was illegal. Also, they were weird about the rewards program too.

Stopped in for an afternoon matcha latte. It was packed inside, but I'm guessing that's normal for a Sunday. Their matcha latte was earthy and in my opinion doesn't need syrup/sweetener. Lots of drink options that I'll have to try next time

Moka & Co is a unique Yemeni coffee shop that I recommend checking out atleast once. The inside of the shop is extremely comfortable, I went on a weekend and it wasn't too loud. The cashier was super helpful with pi king out a drink and was extremely friendly. I ordered one of their signature lattes which is a Moka Spice Latte (with oatmilk). It was delicious and I have never tasted anything like it before. The spices in the drink were extremely unique and phenomenally went well with the coffee. They did have a bakery/food display and all of the food looked great. I appreciated the diversity of different options. I did not get to try anything this time, but will be back in the future.

Biscoff Cheesecake - The star of the show. Creamy, rich and absolutely delicious. This was the only item that would bring me back. Honeycomb Bites They were mid. They didn't taste very fresh and the flavor was mild. Iced Biscoff Latte with Oatmilk (+$1 upcharge) Not a fan. It was pretty mid, especially with the $9 price tag for a 16 oz drink. Iced Pistachio Matcha Latte with Oatmilk (+$1 upcharge) A little gritty and again not worth $9. It was very clean and inviting. Service was a bit slow. A couple came in after me, ordered two drinks and received theirs before I did. The barista did catch that she accidentally made my drinks with regular milk instead of oat milk before serving them to me, which I appreciate. However, both drinks had to be remade. Since there was a milk substitution, it might help if substitutions appeared more prominently on the order screen so mistakes like that don't happen. Delicious! I went here two days in a row and both times were great. I like my coffee not too sweet and both of these were great the way they came! My favorite was the Dubai latte out of the two. The pastry was great and there is a ton of seating inside. And board games so this coffee shop is definitely on my favorite lists.

Cute place! Really enjoyed the salted caramel iced latte. My husband and I enjoyed them! I like all the seating available and they have an outdoor patio

Nice coffee shop to refuel for caffeine, Moka & Co also has a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and bakery to choose from if you are craving sweets. Nice ambience, clean interior, and friendly staff. They have cute mini cactus plants for you to look at and appreciate it while you enjoy your coffee and desserts. The prices are fair for the quality of coffee you get. Will definitely visit again next time we are in Arizona.

I've been wanting to try more local coffee shops and bakeries, and while running errands I stumbled on this spot near where I was headed. I was so impressed -- the decor is refined and stylish, and their baked goods selection is incredible! The service was wonderful too. The sweet girl behind the counter chatted with me about her favorites, which just so happened to be what I wanted to try! I struggled to pick a pastry because everything looked amazing, but I ended up going with a strawberry matcha latte and two different croissants. Honestly, why do people still pack into loud Starbucks locations when cozy, comfortable places like this exist for meeting up, working, or studying?!

I love this place! It's my go-to spot before work. Their pastries and strawberry matcha are both delicious, and the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. I always have a great experience here and would definitely recommend it!

My new favorite coffee shop! Stopped by mid afternoon. Loved the decor and inviting atmosphere. Plenty of tables for good conversations and chilling. I got the Maleki. Thanks to the barista for the recommendation. They use the cherry coffee bean husks in their coffee which was seen at the bottom of the cup after finishing it. My husband and I shared the pistachio cheesecake...omg...10/10! One of a kind that you rarely see in coffee shops. I'll be back to try the pistachio latte!

    Received my coffee at 8:41pm

I waited about 40 minutes for my coffee on a busy Saturday night. Unfortunately, the coffee tasted burnt, and my latte had no foam. It appeared my latte had been sitting on the counter for a while before it was handed to me because they were waiting for the rest of the order to be finished. By the time I received it, it was already cold. The barista was working alone, and it was obvious she was dealing with a very busy rush, so I understand the situation was challenging. However, there was no apology for the long wait or acknowledgment of the delay, and a simple "thank you for your patience" would have gone a long way. On a busy Saturday night, especially at a newly opened location that's likely to attract a lot of customers, there should be more than one employee scheduled. Having only one person handle the rush led to long wait times, drinks sitting too long before being served, and a noticeable decline in quality. I hope the staffing improves because the experience was disappointing, both because of the wait and the quality of the drinks.

Absolutely LOVE this newish coffee shop in Mesa/N Gilbert! The coffee is killer. Super strong and flavorful with spices like cardamom. Definitely a unique flavor profile. The desserts and pastries are top notch too! Open late till 1am some nights this is definitely a go-to place

Butter Croissant and Biscoff Latte, 1/4 sweet
    Shane T.

Beautiful croissant, and other offerings are exceptional. Prefer a meat or savory morning addition from the pastry case? Yes. These are items baked with love and attention ton to detail. I got my 1/4 sweet Biscoff hot latte to go and am not disappointed whatsoever. I sat down in a fair enough comfy chair on a Thursday at 9:25am and it was not too busy - she delivered my coffee & pastry to me vs whispering or yelling from the counter. /smile/. Nice piano music and at 64 but still loving most music it was a nice slow coffee respite before settling into house chores and setting up our computer for tax time. If you are tired of experiencing too sweet lattes try here. And btw - properly steamed milk froth versus frothed is really superior. These small cell foams beat the other!

It also seems to be the same six employees working every time we go. I usually mobile order my drinks, and they are almost never ready by the time the app says they will be. Instead, they often aren't even started until I arrive. On top of that, I always have to stand in the regular line just to pick up my mobile order. This is the only location I've been to that consistently makes customers with mobile orders wait in line instead of simply being able to walk in and grab their order. A couple of days ago, I was told by an employee that my drink was being made, only to stand there for another five minutes while no one actually made it. Another employee eventually asked if I had been helped and said, "I'll make it now." At that point, I was pretty confused about what had been happening. There is also frequently no one at the register. I've seen a line form with multiple customers waiting while no one is taking orders, and this has happened on more than one occasion. Honestly, it doesn't seem like there is much direction or organization among the staff. It feels like everyone is just being told to "make drinks," but sometimes they appear to be making more drinks than there are customers in the drive-thru or inside the shop. We have officially decided to stop going to this location, which is honestly sad because we live nearby and would much rather come here for the convenience, especially when we're heading out of the house. We've given this location plenty of chances, but the consistently poor service, long waits, and lack of organization have made it not worth the frustration anymore.

Whatever else happened during that visit, those cookies were a VERY good introduction to the bakery. I have not actually been into Rise Up Bakery myself, so this review is based entirely on the delightful and delectable cookies I got to try. There was a sugar cookie, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, M&M, and several others. I started by pinching off a little piece of one, then another, and then another. Before long I felt like such a little piggy because I had sampled nearly every cookie in the box. The problem was that every time I tried a new one, it was just as good, if not better, than the one before it. I kept thinking I had found my favorite, only to change my mind with the next bite. And these cookies were BIG hoggers too, probably around 6 inches across. These are not little dainty cookies you mindlessly nibble on. They have some size to them, and thankfully the flavor matches. So while I can't review the bakery itself, the atmosphere, or the service just yet, I can absolutely review the cookies. Based on those alone, Rise Up Bakery has definitely gotten my attention. Four stars for now, and mostly because I feel like I need to actually visit the bakery before handing over the fifth.
