Had some water leakage from my neighbors above me (condominium). I suspected that the water seeped into my walls, so out of an abundance of caution I called Henry and his team to come check it out. They checked the walls using a FLIR camera which can sense the temperature of the wall. Wet spots vs dry spots have different temperatures, so knowing this they were able to identify some areas of hidden water damage. They proceeded to mitigate the issue by drilling some holes in the wall with a hole saw and placing some air movers and dehumidifier in the vicinity of the holes to allow the inside of the walls to dry out. Henry and his team were very methodical in the placement of the air movers to maximize the venting of the walls. This told me that they have experience and knowledge of the situation. Have yet to see the final results, but when everything is said and done we will recheck the area using the FLIR camera and probably some moisture measurement (maybe humidity) to ensure that the inside of the walls are dry. All in all my specific problem has the equipment on site for 4 days. Please note that it is noisy, but way better than the alternative of having water damage. Aside from their knowledge of the situation and expertise in the methods necessary to mitigate the issue. Henry and his team are very nice and enjoyable to talk to. I recently had some water into a downstairs bedroom ceiling from water seeping into the wall from an upstairs balcony. Henry was amazing. He was available same day, and assessed the damage. He was honest - said that the damage was very small, and not likely to cause problems or mold. However, being the baby room, we wanted to be safe; he offered to dry it out as best as possible for a very fair price. He made very small holes in the ceiling that was easily patchable later with a help of a handyman, and set up his own equipment (air mover, dehumidifier, etc) and let it work for a few days. It seemed like it did the trick. Everything felt dry and ready to be repaired. They came on time and packed up their gear and charged the agreed upon price. (Some other companies quoted more than triple the price!) Please recognize that water damage is a complex issue - they are not plumbers, and they do not do the patching and repair work afterward. I called this company this morning 09/11/2020 at 7:55am and a man answered. I told him where I lived and then he asked what service I needed. Told him I had water damage under the house. He asked if I had pictures. I explained I didn't. He said he would need pictures. Explained to him I wouldn't be able to get into the crawl space to take pictures. Henry is the man! I had a hot water line rupture inside my wall and leak water for nearly a week before it got fixed. I contacted Henry who got back to me very quickly about his availability and he was able to make some quick evaluations with a few photos I sent him He came on-site to assess the damage, which had dripped down across 4 floors and a shared wall, so a large number of areas were affected. He worked quickly to setup drying equipment and did a great job of minimizing the amount of walls we needed to open (made repairs afterwards much smaller and less expensive). During the process, Henry also spoke to my insurance company in order to get them to cover the claim, something I've never seen from other water damage restoration services. Because the cushions aren't removable I thought I was going to have to replace my furniture. It's a big L shape and it wouldn't have been cheap.
