This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. I placed an online order at around 3:15 AM. I ordered a lunch special. Half a sub, french fries, soup and a can of pop for $13.20. I ordered it for pick up for 12:15 PM today. I got there right around 12:15 PM and the cook was still working on my order. I looked around just a little bit, a very little bit and saw that they had two rooms for dining. The first one they had all the chairs on top of the table, so I take it. You couldn't sit in there, but then the other room seemed to be ready for customers. It wasn't the cleanest looking place in the world, but I guess it's fine. The pizzas that were in the front, for slices I'm sure, they didn't look very healthy. They look like they've been sitting around for a long time. They didn't look very good. But I did not have any of them, so my opinion really doesn't matter much there as to how they looked I got home and noticed that there was no soup in the bag, so I called Molinara's I spoke to the owner and he said I only get one or the other even though on the Slice menu and on their menu it says fries, soup or salad and a can of pop. That to me says you get Fries, soup and a can of pop. Or if you choose the salad, then you get that and not the soup. The way he said it though very rudely put it. He said he can't just give food away like that for $11. He said it's just one or the other and that's it that he's been doing this for 30 years and that's how it is. I found that to be very disrespectful and he was still wrong. In his head, yes maybe that's the deal. You only get one or the other, but on the app menu and on the paper menu When there's commas that means you get that and then if it says or then you have to choose between two items. If he was nice about it, it wouldn't bother me so much but he was not nice about it so he kind of pissed me off. The food was actually pretty good though. I got a half of an Italian sausage sub and it was very good. Their fries were very, very good. The pop on the other hand was pretty warm. Online all you can get is either a can of Coke, Diet Coke or Sprite. So you don't get much of a selection there when you order it from the app. I will probably order from there again, but I think only if I order inside the restaurant so I know what I'm getting and I won't be lacking something because they'll tell me right then what certain things come with.

Decent first visit. Reasonable prices. All the subs seemed to have been made well. Everything was fresh and a good size. Crispy fries, if maybe a little heavy on the seasoned salt (which my fiancé is fine with), and your basic mozzarella sticks. They must have run short on them, because we got 5 in our order of 6, and the 6th was replaced with a pizza log. I was totally fine with that, but someone who doesn't eat pork may not have been. I would say just to mention to the customer that a substitution like that was made, bur no problem for me. We'll be back to try more than subs.

Ever since I bought my house and moved into the Tonawanda Amherst area Molinara's has been my number one favorite pizza place for a NYS style pie. Pizza is my favorite food and this traditional family run business does it right! My wife and I love the cheese and pepperoni with the semi sweet sauce- not too sweet but has that perfect zing in the sauce! This time we ordered a large semi sweet half cheese and half mushrooms and olives on our Lenten Friday dinner! The service was great- ordering it for a specific time and it was piping hot out of the oven right on time on my way back home from the gym! The pizza was excellent!! We love this little place and would highly reccomend them for your next pizza pie! Great job Molinaras!!

My husband and I have ordered pizza from Molinara's numerous times. We absolutely love their sweet sauce! If you would rather have traditional sauce, they also offer that too. The cheese and toppings they put on their pizzas are usually plentiful. They also put garlic on the crust, which really makes it taste even better. The employees have always been kind and helpful. One time we got a pizza that appeared to be burnt on the bottom. They were nice and easy to work with and promptly fixed the problem by making us a fresh pizza. I have always been pleased with the pizza and service and will continue being a customer.

Drove by this location several times, stopped the other night as my hunger pains need fuel. Staff at the counter, were extremely friendly and I must admit I was shocked too find three to four varieties of single slice pizza after 8pm. My selection was NY style thin crust speciality with spinach and mushroom...the toppings were savored by each bit. Quick convient stop, average price $3 slice, would return in future to check out other items.

My husband and I decided to order a pizza this past Friday night! We decided to order from one of our local favs! Molinara's! We order from here every once in a while because we can spice it up with our semi sweet sauce instead of your average traditional pizza sauce! The hint of sweetness this sauce can provide elevates your taste buds and definitely a must try for anyone who likes a hint of sweetness! The pizza was amazing and had such a great ratio of cheese to toppings! They really piled on the olives and mushrooms on that half of our pizza! Plus they don't over exceed in the cheese department but put the most perfect and extremely melty amount! The service is always super quick and always ready within 30 minutes after ordering! The pizza comes out nearly perfect every time! The little place itself does have a little dining room, but we always opt to order takeout it's just a skip around the corner! We definitely will be ordering from this little favorite place of ours again!

I think we need a man on the inside of this pizza shop. We're going to have to put a Mole-in Molinara's. This used to be one of my favorite pizza places in Western New York. One of the true bastions of new york-style slices. I went back recently a couple of times and noticed that either the standard slipped or my standards went up. The slices were okay but we're more than a little dry, with very little tomato. Sausage is usually the way to go here but I actually like some of the buffalo style pizza in the region better than these slices. It's still just about five stars but needs more tomato sauce or something. This is a shame because for a long time these were in my top 5 - and definitely top 10 - slices in the area. Now they're still top 50 (and that is a compliment because there are so many good ones), but I wouldn't rush back here as much as I used to. And I didn't appreciate getting charged for 2 slices when I specifically asked for one (and he even said "just one slice?" before ringing me up). Yes, I did actually get the 2 slices, but they were nearly closing and probably weren't going to be sold anyway. Shrug. I remember customer service was nicer to me the first few times I came in here, too, a few years ago. I also didn't appreciate being charged for pizza sauce. Yes ok, it's fine, but in the context of also being charged for 2 slices... it was overkill. Lol. Still, the standard of the food is too good for it not to get 5 stars. And one iffy experience doesn't change all the good ones from the past. And as for the name of the place, as I said before: I knew a girl that was way kinkier than Richard Gere. Yes he may have notoriously famously supposedly creepily grossly put a Gerbil up his oh-is-that-the-time, but the girl in question? She put a Mole... yes a Mole... (shakes head)... I can't even bring myself to say it. (Clears throat). She put a Molinaras. And thus, this place got its name.

    Dana M.

Back and much better! Their sweet sauce is not overly so, though I do still like the traditional better. Pizza was back to being perfect. Thin crust, perfect chewy to crispy ratio. Awesome.

Wow. Hands down some of the best pizza we've had…read more We ordered the San Felice Pizza -- San Marzano tomatoes, house-made sausage, sweet and spicy peppers, onion, buffalo mozzarella, and fresh basil -- and it was absolute perfection. The flavors don't compete... they melt together into one big, perfect masterpiece. The peppers leaned sweet (no real heat), which made them the ideal companion to the delicious sausage. And that sausage? Made in-house and seasoned beautifully, with the perfect amount of fennel -- enough to give it that classic Italian character without overpowering the pie. Perfection! The buffalo mozzarella added creamy richness, the basil kept everything bright, and the San Marzano tomatoes were clean and balanced. We love pizza in all its forms -- New York style and Napoli alike -- but there is something about the rustic goodness of true Neapolitan pizza that has a special place in my pizza-loving heart. That airy, soft center and char-kissed crust from the wood-fired oven is magic. The use of such fresh ingredients makes Forno Napoli my favorite pizza on NY so far - authentic and intentional. There is a lot of love and pride in everything from the handmade crust to all of the toppings. They also serve a garlic butter and cheese dipping sauce for the crust -- indulgent and completely unnecessary in the BEST possible way. That blistered crust dipped in that sauce? Unreal. The cheese? Yes, they have the most beautiful wheel of pecorino they hand grate from to make this happen. No green shaker bottles here! We met Felix, the owner, and he was incredibly welcoming. He has such great energy -- warm, engaging, and clearly passionate. You can tell he's the heartbeat behind the recipes and the success of the business. It feels personal. He made us want to share just how great our entire experience was and he certainly made us want to return. Our only regret? We were too full to try another pizza. Do not hesitate.
