Typical quick pizza shop. They have slices for a quick pick up. Service was nice, store was clean. Was very hot inside... they need to fix their a/c situation. They can't just expect to keep the fire open to use as a vent. The pizza was however was for a quick pick me up... it was not something to look forward to, or want to go to. This is something to pick up late at night when all else fails. It lacked flavor and there was so much grease and cheese it was almost hard to eat. Hopefully it was just the time of day we went.

Steak and Cheese Sub With lettuce, onions, black olives, and banana peppers.

If you're seeing this, it's a sign to try their subs. After almost 8 years, I finally explored that side of the menu. I ordered a steak sub, and ho-ly shit! Mind blown! With a full sub coming in at just over $11. You can't go wrong. The flavor packed into this thing could close Jim's Steakout for good. The staff there is always great and I'm so glad they suggested this sub. See for yourself.

I placed an order online through the Slice app. I realized I used the wrong form of payment and tried to change it, but Slice was unable to contact Gino's I called Gino's ,twice the girl answer the phone , said we're not excepting phone orders at this time and hung up on me both times. I wanted to cancel my order and just change the form of payment. So that was completely rude to begin with. My order was supposed to be here at one time they pushed it back. When my crappy pizza did show up, it was just like I said, crappy and cold. It taste like frozen pizza that you get from 7-Eleven except 7-Eleven pizza is actually better. The french fries are the small kind what you did not specify, and they are so stale. It's unbelievable. I will never be ordering from this place again. My whole dinner is a joke. $40 for crap !! I'm pissed

Buffalo pizza is definitely one of a kind style pizza. Tons of dough, lot of cheese, spicy pepperoni and very heavy. This pizza is a great change of pace! I have been in Buffalo for over a decade and this is one of the few New York style pizzas that I have enjoyed. Sauce is on the sweeter side. Dough was thin, excellently cooked and traditional pepperoni. Ordered takeout online for a XL with pepperoni, two ranch add ons and the total came to about $30 which is on the expensive side for pizza in Buffalo. A very different pace for Buffalo pizza but different in a good way. Good New York style in the heart of Elmwood village, give it a shot!

I moved to buffalo a couple of years ago from NYC and I've searched for pizza that tasted like home and as soon as I took my first bite I almost cried...thank you so much

Large 16" Pizza 1 Topping and 10 Wings

I ordered the large pizza and 10 wings combo. I choose sausage for my topping and the Gino's Secret Sauce for the wings. Both were solid . Can't quite describe the sauce flavor, but it made me think of a BBQ. The wings were good in size as well. The pizza won't be everyone's style reference but I did like it as a New York style pizza.

I'd say 3.5. The calzone was good, the pizza and the meatballs were average nothing spectacular.

Large Pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and onions

I think this is probably one of the best pizzas we've had in Buffalo! We ordered a Large Pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and onions and a side of fries and onion rings for pick up. The chew and texture of the dough was on spot, and the sauce was really savory. The portion of the fried and onion rings are pretty big too. Really satisfied with our order!

Little dicey pizza shop in what used to be somebody's house. Looks like they ripped out the living space, left the breakfast nook and made everything else kitchen. Couple tables inside and a couple tables on the sidewalk. Pizzas on display in the case, pick what you want and get it re-blasted to eating temperature in 3.5 minutes. Grab a couple sodas with that and relax out front. My deep dish buffalo wing slice was quite interesting with a real blue cheesey base, white cheese top and plenty of hot orange saucey chicken in between. MLB nods approvingly to the cheese... "not sure what temperature is but it's the right temperature for eating. Oily but not too oily, tip it away so you don't mess yourself." Kudos for using real garlics on the knots, they'd be fine for anyone who uses normal portions.

    Pepperoni Pizza

I've always been a fan of Gino and Joes and I've always drove by this place and wanted to try it. This couldn't have been any further from the pizza I got at Gino's or any NY style pizza. There was about 3 lbs of low quality oily cheese and if zoom in you can tell by the way the pepperonis were just dropped on this pizza that no one cared about quality at this place. It tasted like cheap cafeteria pizza.

Gino works a diner all day
    Fox E.

Gino works a diner all day. I hope it supplements his income well because his late night pizza place isn't particularly spectacular. This is pretty good pizza and in most cities it might be one of the best in the city. Unfortunately for them they exist in Buffalo New York so there are at least fifty-seven pizzerias with more amazing slices than here. However it is right in the middle of the Elmwood hipster college party District close to Buffalo State, and its open super late at night, so they get more business than 54 of the 57 afro mentioned better slices in town. It's pretty good and I get four stars All Things Considered. A lot of Buffalo Yelpers say this is one of the best slices in the region. That's because they haven't tried 95% of the slices in the region. I have. So yeah.

I had heard good things about Naked City Pizza, so I decided to take a break from my usual spots and give them a try and overall, I am very pleased! I called around 4:45pm on a Saturday and a gentleman took my order. He was courteous and friendly and said my order would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I arrived about 30 minutes later, easily finding a parking spot in their large parking lot, which is a mixture of pavement and dirt/gravel. Walking inside the shop, it's similar to most Buffalo pizza shops where it's relatively small and really about take-out, not for dining in. There were a few young guys working the counter and ovens, they were able to get me in and out quickly. From the limited time I was inside, the workers were friendly enough, they seemed to get along well. For dinner, I ordered a Quarter Sheet (6 slices) Steak and Three Cheese pizza but the gentleman who took my order over the phone put my order in as a Half Sheet (12 slices). They realized the mistake too late and gave me the Half Sheet for the Quarter Sheet price! I really do appreciate that, it's great customer service. I have half a pizza leftover for a quick dinner now! Naked City Pizza nails the traditional Buffalo-style with a doughier undercarriage and nice crispy, chewy crust. The dough was airy but it didn't seem as "heavy" as many other pizza places around Buffalo, but maybe I was just REALLY hungry. haha For their steak pizza, it seems like they use thicker pieces of steak, which was great, definitely felt more substantial. Most steak pizzas come topped with banana, hot, or sweet (bell/green) peppers, but Naked City uses roasted red peppers, which are sweet and have a more distinct flavor and softer texture - I was impressed, this paired VERY well with the other components! Along with them, there's also onions on top. The three cheeses used are cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan, which of course are delicious. In addition to the roasted sweet peppers, the other component that I was surprised by was the white garlic sauce as the base. Steak pizzas around Buffalo vary from using a "hoagie oil/sauce" to just a huge variety of cheeses, no base sauce of any kind. I tend to stay away from white sauce on pizza as it's usually associated with garlic (I don't want my breath to be too... fragrant haha), but this wasn't too garlic-y, I didn't feel like I was "wearing it". I enjoyed the added creaminess the white sauce added to this pie. After six slices, I stopped myself and put the other half in the freezer. The six slices I had were delicious and filled me up nicely - The squares were cut nicely and they were plenty filling with tons of meat and cheese. I have a feeling these will reheat in the oven nicely. Looking at the prices, I was impressed too with how affordable Naked City Pizza is! All-in-all, I'm glad I gave Naked City Pizza a chance and had a great experience! The staff are friendly enough and quick, it's easy to get in and out quickly, and the pizza is traditional Buffalo-style so it's on the heartier end while being affordable. I look forward to ordering and trying a red sauce pizza from Naked City Pizza to see how sweet their sauce is.

I took my son there for lunch the other day, and we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who as it turns out, I knew from his previous restaurants stops. I was surprised how good the San Franco pizza was! I also had a bowl of Pasta Fasola which was outstanding. I live in the city of Buffalo between Delaware and Elmwood and there are many pizza places around here, plus, I grew up on Bocce on Bailey pizza. However, the Forno Napoli pizza now ruins all others for me. I have never been to Italy, but I imagine this is what pizza is like there. Authentic and fresh. I'm taking all 3 of my kids back there tonight. Trying their salads and pasta as well. This place was very busy on a weekday at 4pm, so it is not a secret. It is also not cheap. The man who greeted us was kind helpful and I was impressed with the pizza options. We ordered: - Buffalo Chicken: had a really good flavor & was my favorite! - BBQ Chicken: my son loved it - Margerhita: also had a good flavor - Pickle: the best we've had by far - Beef Pattie: looks like a Jamaican one but isn't spicy and had a very strange almost veal or lamb taste. Overall the flavors of the pizzas were really very good, but unfortunately every slice was so overcooked and burnt that it quickly overtook the great flavor of each bite. I'm a member of their rewards program and once in a while, they'll send me a coupon for $5 off, or a certain percentage off of my next order. So, when I get one of these rewards, I make sure to take advantage and order a pie! Shoutout to the staff as they're always friendly and courteous. I need to praise how open and honest they are, which was put on full display with a recent order. One Pie Pizza Co. bakes a truly authentic Buffalo-style pizza with an airy, doughy undercarriage, a balanced chewy, crispy crusty, plenty of mozzarella cheese and sweet red sauce with cup-n-char pepperoni, but I like my dough, the undercarriage, to be a bit more cooked, firm, crispy, so I've been requesting "extra crispy on the bottom/underneath" more recently. But the way One Pie Pizza Co. cooks their pizzas makes that request a little more difficult as they use a conveyor belt process, so when ordering online there are two "Special Instructions" options: LIGHT WELL DONE and WELL DONE (Dark, crispy crust with charred edges). I've been trying to figure out which of these options would offer the more firm, crispier dough I want, so I ended up talking to some of the staff working there and explained my conundrum. They were wonderful in hearing me out and suggesting how I should place my order to get what I am looking for. So, what's the way to get the dough more firm, crispy underneath? Order your pizza LIGHT WELL DONE and ask if they could put your pizza on top of the oven for 10 minutes before they put it into the oven to cook it! The dough might raise up a bit more, but it should help pre-heat, cook the dough a little bit more. Of course, nothing wrong with adding a note asking for extra crispy on the bottom, underneath. I've ordered a few times in 2026 and each time my order has been a QTR Sheet (six slice) cheese, pepperoni, sausage, banana peppers, and ricotta cheese pizza, LIGHT WELL DONE cook/extra crispy on the bottom, underneath. This is an excellent pizza, with tons of toppings on each slice and plenty of ricotta cheese ladled on top. Drizzle a little hot honey to add a little sweet kick. This pizza never fails to leave me happy and full. I will say, their pizza might be on the pricier end in Buffalo, but it's worth it. One Pie Pizza Co. certainly earned, and deserves its high marks and regards within the Buffalo pizza community! I'm glad to keep them in my list of go-to Buffalo pizza shops.
