Went there for the first time last night to see a fellow artists band, Side Peace. This bar is literally everything you want in a neighborhood haunt. Friendly locals, good time crowd, some lone wolfs around, a game room and live music. will definitely be going back. Would be a great end of the night place for a low key date. read more

A group of us stopped in after our friend's wedding. The bartenders/servers were friendly. They had a pretty good selection although only 1 cider option which was a bit disappointing but it was appreciated since two of us are gluten free. It was a cute little place with a jukebox and tvs. Pretty much what you would expect. It was pretty smokey inside which wasn't ideal because we all left smelling like an ashtray. read more

Nice local Irish pub. Staff and patrons are friendly and welcoming. I've been in a few times now. They have a very good selection of beer on tap. And all of the typical bar games. I am sad to say that this is a110% no go bar. My reasoning Price Scamming. Everything was a 3 out of 5 until I recieved my tab and the bartender (Ashley) states that my card was declinded. FIRST RED FLAG (the only time my card declines when I have money in my bank is when several cases of Credit Card Fraud have been reported to my bank at that particular location.) I knew I had the money and even withdrew from an ATM down the road to pay my tab. While going to the ATM i took the liberty to add up the price they tried to charge me versus what the waitress (an older experienced lady) had orignally showed me I was being charged on the written up ticket each time I bout a drink. THERE WAS A $21 DOLLAR DIFFERENCE. i went in and explained the situation to Ashely and she stated that the electronic tickets knows the prices and automatically adds things up. DING DONG The waitress showed me the ticket previously and at this point it was right in front of Ashely and I. I did the math in front of her to show her that I was being overcharged an outragious amount. She then calls the waitress over who apparently is the manager and says "deal with this customer he says he is not going to pay his full tab I dont have time for this." The waitress approaches me and I show her the same error in her math. At this time I have put down the $24.26 that she wrote me up for PLUS A $6 DOLLAR TIP because i really did like the venue. She says "I tell you what i'll take care of the rest and you never come back here. What the Hell kinda customer care is that? SO DEFINITILY A PLACE TO GET RIPPED OFF SAYS MY BANK "USAA" APPENTLY A COMMON THING AT THIS LOCATION. And the mangement could give a rats ass about their clientel. Dont have to tell me not to come back here. I hope this helps others in decieding what bar to go too in the spring area. Here is a list of quality bars JIVEoff of Louetta just before cutten rd heading towards 249 is actaully considerably comparable to Molly Maguires. In addition to what you will find here they also have an outdoor FIRE PIT WITH CHAIRS. an indoor firepit with board games and cards. (BATTLE SHIP AND SHOTS), Shuffle board, pool, darts, slots. and a phenomanal craft beer selection. Not to mention everything is cheap. Beach Bums off of 2920 and Meadowhill across the street from Dannys Trix and Kix and also across the street from strips has good drink prices, friendly waitresses, and good Karaoke. Extremely fast service with drinks Track Shack - Louetta and WEst hardy road the Greatest Texas Dive ever with the best burgers I have ever eaten honest to God. For all of you fellow Military and and peopl that have been around Spring/Klein area Track Shack is owned by the Son of the owner of Gunny's shack which was opened by Gunny himeself after he got back from Nam. Hoorah Devil Dogs says Doc Cox Parrot Pub- a great bar, a great waitress named Jenn, they have an upstairs pool and darts room, the prices are cheap, and Karaoke is happening. An awesome place for Karaoke on Thursdays. Also Gay friendly if you float that way. I DO NOT, BUT COOL WITH THOSE THAT DO. These bars are decently spread out.all over Spring abnd there is a good variety. Go to anyone of these before you go to Molly Maguires. If you just want to say you went to an Irish Pub go to Mollys off of I-45 South just after Rayford-Sawdust its off the feeder they have everything one could ask for from a bar, pluse good music and cheap crazy variety of drinks. This is a really great place. Cheap drinks, friendly staff... suuuper divey in all the best ways. When it's time to hit a bar, this is always my go-to. Sunday football watching. Been coming here for 5 years to watch football on Sundays. Great people. Great customer service. Very welcoming. Non judgement no matter what team u love. 10 TV screens, great free food. Been here on karoke night and had a blast. Prices are fair and specials are good. Meh... would have scored higher, but they are so anal retentive about their ID policy. My wife got her identity stolen and had to go to court to get it fixed, but the DPS wouldn't give her a new lisc. Now we are in our mid to late thirties, and she had her expired DL, and about 10 friends all coming to celebrate a friends birthday on a Thursday... but we to change to venue because they would not even allow my wife in the bar. So stupid, we gave our 800+ food and drink tab to Olde City Pub. read more

I love this place, they have ping pong, free darts, pool, giant jenga,and foozball. The bartenders are all awesome and they have karaoke on Monday. Theres always themed parties and for most big sporting events aired on tv they have a small buffet to munch on and enjoy while you watch the games. I'm proud to have this as my Home Bar. read more

Haven't been there in several years since moving around Houston and eventually away from Houston altogether. They remodeled the place at some point in the '90s, I preferred the shabby look myself. When smokers are complaining of the excessive smoke in the room, then you know the air quality is bad. They need a better ventilation system. Also, they need better security. My son went there and someone hit my work vehicle, a Chevy Astro van in the parking lot so hard that the entire side had to be replaced (it is all one piece of metal from front to back). The van was hit by a bright blue vehicle so hard that the van was pushed out of it's parking space. The damage was so extensive that it caused the old van to be a total loss. There were no security guards or security cameras in the parking lot, so we could not find the person responsible, and my business had to take out a loan and take on a car payment for a replacement van. It was a very expensive night overall. We have not been back to Molly's since. It's too bad, because no other bar around has ping-pong tables like Molly's does. read more
