Wow I can't believe I haven't written a review yet. Been in the city for several years and it has been consistently good! I'm not a salt and straw fan because I prefer the thicker textures that Molly moon has and prefer their monthly flavors too. It's less eccentric. I'm always looking forward to June for Blueberry Pie flavor. I will say, the take home pints taste worse than in-store. So I've stopped getting them and would just come inside. I do very much appreciate the service, no matter what time of day I come. And the tip-free policy just makes it so much more stress-free when an ice cream scoop is already $8 these days. Much better experience now! I had their warm brownie sundae with sweet cream and hot fudge and it was so good! The warm brownie tasted fresh and sweet and not overwhelming. The sweet cream went really well with the brownie. My taste buds were pretty happy having this sundae. It was pricey though, as it costed $12. The service was good! The server was nice and helpful and answered any questions we had. They were patient and allowed us to try any flavors we were curious about. The ambiance was good. The place was nice and organized. I stopped in on a warm Saturday evening and was surprised to find the place completely empty. There were 3 employees standing together in the corner chatting, and I waited at the counter for a couple of minutes without anyone acknowledging me. Eventually I walked toward the register and asked if I could get some help. One of the employees seemed annoyed to step away from the conversation. I ordered a sundae and asked for custom flavors: vanilla and salted caramel. What I got looked like chocolate and salted caramel instead. When I mentioned that I had asked for vanilla, she rolled her eyes and went back to chatting while I stood there waiting. Another employee eventually stepped in and remade it, but the sundae was missing the nuts. At that point I didn't feel like asking again, so I just left. The sundae itself was also pretty underwhelming compared with what I remember from when they first opened. Overall, the place feels like it has gone downhill a lot. For a small, you can do two flavors!! We got the cookies and cream and the yeti. The yet is a sweet cream ice cream that's swirled with homemade vanilla bean caramel and tons of homemade yeti granola and Theo chocolate bits. I love the added granola for texture! I loved: Salted Caramel I really liked: Honey Lavender The salted caramel comes with chunks of toffee that are awesome. My only warning is that it can definitely be too salty if you get a whole pint. I learned that the hard way once haha. The honey lavender is sweet but not overbearing. Super refreshing and perfect when the salt from the caramel becomes too much. Service is great. Of all the ice cream shops around this area this is definitely the best value and I don't walk out feeling ripped off. I got a single scoop with 2 flavors and to my surprise it really looks as if I got 2 scoops. At least the portion size is really worth the price. The ice latte and mint brownie tastes amazing and very refreshing. I can't tell which one I like more. As shown in the video the waffle cone is freshly made and is light and crunchy! This place feels a lot less commercialized than the other ice cream shops and feels very authentic as well. Great staff and cozy interior with soft music. Seats are limited but if you go around 3-4 pm on a weekday you'll often get a seat. read more

Stopped by on our walk home from dinner on a Monday night, and the line was out the door! Even so, it moved quickly and we were in and out within 10 minutes. I had a single scoop of the scout mint brownie with added waffle cone bits and it was delicious. The chunks of brownie were still soft and the perfect amount of mint. The ice cream itself was creamy. Molly Moon's is so cute! Very tiny and not many places to sit inside, so it's best to take your ice cream to go. I asked for the "babiest" size and was given a kiddie scoop. It was the perfect amount. I got the Dutch Apple Pie seasonal flavor and it was SO GOOD. Would 100% order again. My partner got the waffle bowl with the Salty Toffee, also good! I'm vegan. Molly Moon's only has one consistent, year-round vegan flavor, a coconut chunk thing, and I don't think it's very good. However, sometimes their vegan seasonals (also only ever 1) are delicious. Just had an apple cider donut flavor that was lovely. Their free toppings - sprinkles and cherries - are vegan. They used to ALSO have coconut whip cream for free (which was such a gift), but sadly got rid of it recently. My non-vegan friends really like some of their other flavors. I like that they don't do tipping (included in the price), give out free scoops if you bring your ballot stub from voting, and often collab with and donate to local causes. read more

Yummy! I really really highly recommend the black sesame red bean ice cream. It's probably one of my favorites for seasonal flavors so get it while it's there! I got the matcha hard shell to go with it and it was good! It definitely stuck to the spoon a little while eating. The price is okay, maybe a little on the high end but that's because the flavors are quite unique and the consistency is smooth. So whether you believe it is worth the money or not varies. Getting the ice cream was quick. There were a lot of people in the shop so there weren't a lot of seating area. Pretty tight interior wise. Was pretty excited to try this place as it seems to be the ice cream place to go if you're going to Seattle. The staff were nice but I didn't feel the ice cream was anything to write home about. I got the cookie dough flavor and sampled that and two others before choosing it. They give a good portion, there's a good amount of cookie dough and something more unique about it is that there's a cinnamon flavoring to it. The cookie dough is more crumbly and the texture wasn't as creamy as I had hoped. I wouldn't discourage anyone from still trying it out if visiting the area, I possibly just didn't get the right thing! read more
