We happened to stumble upon this fun bar and decided to check it out. The place had a few people enjoying their meals which I found a bit shocking cause the game was on. The vibe was very homey and I feel a lot of locals come for a drink and then bounce. The place is huge with lots of seating. The service was great. The food was okay. It's nice bar to relax in.

Molly Os is a great addition to the downtown Belmont area. It's spacious and there's a ton of seating without feeling overly cramped. Our group of 6 shared 7 dishes and we got Irish car bombs. The standout dishes were the fish and chips, spicy Irish nachos and sausage roll. Staff was friendly and checked in on us often. Parking can be difficult during dinner hours but we were able to find street parking within 5 minutes.

I went in to watch a Liverpool game on a weekend, and the place was open even before their scheduled time. Ian (I think that was his name), a Newcastle fan, was a great host and got me seated as soon as I arrived. I ordered the Eggs Florentine and a coffee. The hollandaise sauce was light and flavorful, and the eggs were perfectly done. The side of potatoes was also surprisingly light. This is a great local spot to get together to watch games or even just grab a bite. Definitely check it out if you're in the area!

You know even though I do not live in this town, I spend some time here. And honestly, we went up and down the street looking for a new venue to try. Went with my cousin Rick..and we finally decided we land upon this gem. Our server was a great guy, with family that hails from Ireland..Aiden is proud of his history, and rightfully so. Hands down, clean place, friendly staff and the food was great. Alright so it is an Irish pub, but I was in the mood for something typically Irish and Pub, outside of my Corona beer :-) We started off with an appetizer as my cousin suggested, we had the Appetizer platter which was great. It came with sausage rolls, potato skins, onion rings, chicken wings and quesadillas.. ok not typically Irish. But them I had the Fish n Chips for the main with slaw and it was perfect, crisp..fresh and just great. My cousin had the Bangers and Mash!! So hands down I would come here again. My other favorite pub that has a similar first name is Molly MC Gees in Mt View in the S Peninsula. Now this is my favorite Irish Pub in the S Central Peninsula. I will be back. Cheers!!

Nice family owned Irish bar tucked in on San Carlos Ave. My friend and I popped in on Saturday to grab a bite to eat. The places wasn't too busy so we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was welcoming and friendly. We ordered some sausage roll, fish and chips and a couple of Espresso Martinis. The martinis were about the best I've had. The food was equally delicious. Fish was lightly battered, tender inside and crispy outside. The chips were French fries, I prefer the larger potato cuts, but these were pretty good. They also have several tv to watch sporting event and live music on certain days. I think it's a great place to go and hang out with friends.

Molly O's seems to be a relatively new addition to the comforting San Carlos Laurel St. area and I'm so glad I've discovered it. I can't put an exact pulse on whether it is a bar or a restaurant but it sure has an Irish Pub vibe. Slightly dark, lots of wood, a Guiness dispenser, and a relatively bustling scene. Now this certainly isn't your true Irish Pub or an alcohol first place like Marvin Gardens down El Camino. It makes a great balance of beer and food and that's what you exactly need in a family-centric area like San Carlos. It shouldn't be weird to walk into Molly O's with another colleague or a date night drink, but also it is perfectly comfortable to take your family with kids. A restaurant business in San Carlos cannot survive only trying to serve the office / night-out crowd as that is the minority. And thus, San Carlos residents always struggle when you just want a quick night out with your buddies or adult chat. And like I said, Molly O's manages to create that Irish Pub but not neglecting families. The food is obviously comfort-food style. Good portions. Slight Irish twist such as Fish and Chips and Irish Stew French Fries. Again, tasted fine and way above average for a pub. And they seem to be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as everything in between so this could come across a bit dubious whether they'll get even one of them right. My visit as a pub earned my seal of approval. Will absolutely return again and try it out as a restaurant for a proper meal. Stay tuned.

Loved the vibes at this bar and restaurant the staff was super attentive and nice, the food and Irish coffees were so delicious too!! Definitely will be coming back soon!!

    Corned beef sliders!! YUM!

Love it here!! Such a fun vibe and we loved the staff, we went for lunch and didn't want to go back to work we had so much fun! I highly recommend them! I've also been there for breakfast too! Definitely go see them and you have to try these corned beef sliders! AMAZING!!

What in the Emerald Isle is going on here?! Soooooooooo happy the area got a proper pub here in the hood! FINALLY!!! You're greeted immediately by friendly staff accommodating your every pub whim AND...traditional Irish music playing at a nice level so you can talk and enjoy the music. Overall, great atmosphere. For sports fans...there are multiple flat screen TVs all around so you won't miss out. Love, love, love these beautiful people and their beautiful, supremely clean Irish Pub! It's really beautiful inside with the chandeliers hanging above the rich, dark brown polished wood bar, floors, tables, chairs with nicely painted walls adorned with Irish framed artwork. The bar area is gorgeous and everything is very clean and sparkly. There's an upper floor for group/parties or when the downstairs gets crowded. I dined during happy hour (3-5pm daily) and the first thing I said, "Could I get a Smithwick's, please?" My all time fav beer on earth. Gorgeous red ale is so smooth and the taste is chef's kiss perfect. I could drink 10 of them they're that good. The red ale is from Ireland where I was first introduced to the sudsy delight. Next up! I need some pub grub. I ordered the Sausage Rolls to start. These are a must order when you stop by. They're homemade Irish deliciousness. I also ordered the Crab Louie salad with some proper Irish breads and butter. The food is all delicious and very nice quality ingredients. My order total set me back about $48 before tip. I ordered quite bit expecting to take home my leftovers for later. I believe they have live music Thursdays through Sundays in the evenings. From what I've read, they're super busy nightly, which I'm happy to hear. I hope these folks stay around a while. Definitely will return soon and I highly recommend going alone, coupled or with a group, you'll be treated with great hospitality! Nice peeps and great food. Their menu is huge, too. There's something for everyone. Not just pub bites, full entrees as well. Fish tacos were the special of the day. You have street parking and 2 free of charge parking structures within brief walking distance; behind the Sam Trans building and under the condos back behind Blue Line Pizza. Cheers! Order Smithwick's, you'll love it!

Service was great and food was yummy! Very laidback pub. The onion rings were yummy, batter wasn't too thick, crunchy and gave huge portions. The stew was very heavy, a bit too salty for me but overall was good. Had loads of potatos (of course! ). Shepard pie was flavorful and somewhat light? Heavy because of the potatoes but the meat flavoring was light

Another bar? Why not! Get the potato skins, they're delicious. Get the crab melt, also delicious. Service here was great, and this bar was clean and felt welcoming. This had more of a calm restaurant vibe even though they had the game going on and multiple people wearing their favorite jerseys. This was a great lunch spot. My coworker got a salad, and you can see by the lettuce that it was fresh. My salad was also fresh and good. Great place in San Carlos to swing by and get some grub!

A+ except it did take them a long time to bring the check and we had to flag the guy down to get it. Otherwise attentive and the meal was reasonably well coursed. They let us split dishes and didn't give us a bad time about it. Food... Also an A+. I'm super picky and tend to not like to venture off the beaten path for different kinds of ethnic foods but everything here that we had was delicious. We split the salad with pear and goat cheese, and except for a couple of decayed pieces of spring mix, which is always a problem with that stuff it was delicious. The dressing was crisp and citrusy. We split the jambalaya with chicken and it was interesting in that it was basically a large scoop of rice with a good sized piece of chicken on the side, which you had to cut up, which is not how I've seen jambalaya prepared before, but it worked. The chicken was insanely good, and the rice also was very delicious, heavy on the bell peppers. We also tried the beef empanadas and the chimichurri sauce was insanely good. We wanted to get beignets, but they were out and none of the other desserts appealed to me so we didn't do dessert. We ordered a French 75 cocktail and the Pinot Noir wine and both were very nice )although pro tip French 75 are supposed to have a lemon peel in them and ours didn't). We ordered the Pancake Flight Trio, a scramble, and a mimosa. After a little over 10 minutes, I noticed tables that were seated after us already had their drinks, so I flagged down a server to check on ours. It seemed like our drink order had been forgotten, but they quickly made and brought it out. The mimosa came in a fun tiki-themed glass with fresh orange juice. It was refreshing with a light alcohol flavor, and honestly ended up being the best part of the meal. I was most excited for the Pancake Flight Trio and chose the tiramisu, peach cobbler, and s'mores pancakes. I didn't realize you could mix and match with French toast too so that was my mistake for not paying closer attention to the menu. The portion size is generous, though. The pancakes are fairly large with lots of toppings, so it's definitely enough to share between two people. That said, I wouldn't order it again. The pancakes themselves were incredibly dry and lacked flavor. They relied heavily on the toppings, syrup, and butter to make them enjoyable. Even the part of the pancake underneath the toppings was still dry. The toppings were hit or miss. I also found it odd that all three pancakes had graham cracker crumbs and whole graham cracker. I get the cobbler and s'more but the tiramisu with graham crackers puzzled me. The tiramisu pancake didn't have any espresso powder, so it mostly just tasted like whipped cream on top. The peach cobbler topping tasted like canned peaches with very little sauce, and the s'mores pancake was overwhelmingly sweet from the Nutella, chocolate, and marshmallow. My favorite in flavor was probably the tiramisu. My husband ordered the scramble, and unfortunately it was also dry and lacking flavor. It definitely needed hot sauce along with salt and pepper. The toast came with 1 packet of butter on the side instead of being buttered already, so if you like extra butter, I'd recommend asking for more. Even after buttering it, the toast became hard pretty quickly. Overall, this brunch was disappointing. Between the forgotten drinks and food that was consistently dry and under-seasoned, it just wasn't worth it. The mimosa ended up being the highlight of the meal, and even that was just good not amazing. If someone really wanted to eat here, I'd go, but I wouldn't personally recommend it or choose to come back.
