Tea and boba drinks are my favorite desserts to get! I heard about Molly Tea through TikTok and I had to try it! Their flavors are unique and not something I would find elsewhere so I really like that about them. Their quality teas are great as well and definitely higher quality than other known brands. Their prices are okay. I wish they were more affordable. There's no much service involved in my opinion but honestly it makes the line move faster so I'm fine with that. Oh wait, I forgot, there's just people everywhere. People outside, people sitting down, people just waiting for their drinks to be made. But you finally order, you look at the menu that says things like "Premium Jasmine" and "Champaca". There's not a single non-caffeinated beverage on the menu, which maybe makes you wonder how everyone is ordering this at midnight. And then you order drinks anyway. What can I say? They're delicious. There was a slide of orange in my Champaca tea, which added a nice note. The Jasmine really tasted premium, whatever that means. The cups are ridiculously cute, the decor is pretty and modern, and TV's clearly display which orders are ready to be picked up. Non dairy options are just added on dairy drinks We ordered the Champaca milk tea with oat milk, thinking that choosing the OAT MILK option meant that there's ONLY oat milk in the drink. It wasn't until we saw other reviews that said non dairy options meant that they just added it to their premade drinks. Even our drink server didn't know that this was the case, having to ask the manager to explain that they have only one non dairy drink -- the plain jasmine tea (which has no milk). Upon first glance, I thought this boba shop was a luxury goods store. The pink bags and unique logo make me think it was an offshoot of chanel. Located in a small strip small, there is some parking, but it's always packed. Fortunately, the street next to it has ample street parking as it leads into the neighborhood. Molly tea doesn't have the flashiest menu, but what they do have is delicious. I went with their jasmine milk tea. It wasn't so sweet that you couldn't taste the jasmine tea, nor was it too light that it was just drinking tea. It was the perfect balance. Do I think it's worth the $7 price tag...if you can brew your own tea, then no. But as a quick pick me up and a place to chat, then the $7 is ok. Drinks go for 6 bucks each, pretty typical. They come in uniquely designed paper coffee cups. Not clear plastic so you can't see the drinks, bummer. They came with some stupid hot coffee straw so we can't drink fast, being the glutton that we are, not happy about it. Their tea are very floral. My absolute favorite tea place! Always gotta get the white champaca tea, matcha or tea. It is so aromatic and you could really taste the tea flavor. Prices are competitive, but for the taste that you're getting I think it's worth every dollar. The ambience is so cute inside and outside, and I love all the floral designs. Getting your order can take so long, just because it is so crowded. Parking is also a hassle in that area, so we always have to do street parking. We always order online ahead of time, sometimes on the drive to the store. But we still have to wait an additional 10 minutes usually until our drinks are ready. I was curious to try the jasmine whipped cream, which came with it, so no need to pay an extra $3 for that! So tasting the drink first, it was honestly pretty good! The tea is very refined and rich. You can definitely tell they serve great quality tea here. I am more of a boba person so I wish they would've had boba toppings to pair with it, except they are more tea focused. I can't say anything about the wait time or actually parking because my friend and I ordered online for pick up while we were having lunch nearby. We were 10 minutes away and ordered it 10 minutes before we left and it was ready when we were on the way. Inside, they have a very modern setup with a good amount of seating inside and outside on their patio. To order, they have two kiosk machines or you can also order with an employee. Due to the hype, there may definitely be lines and longer wait times so make sure you plan accordingly. For their menu, they have a selection of different milk teas to choose from. Wifey and I opted for the White Champaca Oat Milk Tea and the Gardenia Oat Milk Tea. Overall, we enjoyed our experience here and are glad we got the chance to finally stop by! This spot is definitely suited for those who enjoy floral and earthier flavor profiles. All of the staff here are very friendly and efficient. After 30 minutes of waiting, we were told they're "really behind" and it'll be another 30 mins. It's now over that time estimate too. I would describe the tea itself with mild floral flavor. I gave them another try and ordered from their tablet on my recent visit. On the very top of the menu they had a Dragon Boat Festival promotion and it said they'll give a magnet if you order any two of the drinks in that section, so I did. I ordered two Gardenia Milk Teas which ended up having no floral aroma at all and just tasted like milk. When the worker packed my drinks I asked if there's supposed to be a magnet because I didn't see her pack one. The worker said that they are not running the promotion yet so there's no magnet but I explained that the tablet is advertising it. They have a TV screen and voice telling you which drinks are ready! However, they get really busy. It's mostly street parking and I ended up parking 5 blocks away. The parking security do monitor the temporary 20 min zone thats across the street so be careful to only park there for that amount of time and not more. There's a lot of seating inside and a few tables outside as well. I went in the middle of the day on a weekday and I still waited around 20 minutes or more for my drink. Finally giving this place a try since everyone is at EDCLV this weekend, meaning shorter lines. The drinks itself were on the higher end for each cups but taste wise was very disappointing.
