We've heard great stuff about this place and noticed the hype. The hype is well justified. I love floral and fragrant milk tea. This is by far the best I've had. I would take a drive back here just to order the white champaca again. It's just so different compared to other floral and tea forward milk teas. This one has a very fragrant aftertaste that isn't over sweet or too floral. It's just very hard to describe how good this actually is. It's definitely worth the drive and an absolute must try. It absolutely lives up to its hype. The only con is that we don't have one near us, but that could also be a pro because I'm sure I'd be buying here all the time.

There are soooo many boba shops in this area, and the hype for Molly Tea is insane. I walked here after dinner just down the street (the parking lot at Molly Tea sucks) and there was a small line. You order at one of the 2 kiosks or at the one register with a cashier. There is seating inside and outside, but walking in the shop had an off putting wet towel smell. I'm a fan of jasmine milk tea and since they are known for that, I had to order the OG 50% sweetness. 15 minutes later, the drink was ready and came in their iconic pink looking coffee cup. For there to be that many workers, I thought the drinks would come out sooner, but idk if they pre-make their drink mixes or if it's made to order. First sip I took I was greeted with the pleasant taste of jasmine tea. It definitely is one of the better jasmine milk teas I have tried, but didn't blow my mind. I would come back again, but if you are debating whether or not to wait in a 30+ minute line, go elsewhere, it's not THAT good lol.

Why does it look like they're not so busy and when you go inside it is so busy!? You order at the kiosk. They have tables inside and a patio. I got the matcha white champaca salted cheese with sago. The matcha was good and I love the salted cheese topping. I wasn't too much of a fan on the sago. It's different from what I am used to. The Jasmine milk tea which I liked a lot!! It would be even better if there was some sort of salted foam with it.

Parking: Limited street parking + parking lot available Ambience: Good amount of space inside with plenty of tables both indoors and outdoors, but always packed, busy, and a bit chaotic Service: Efficient, professional! Taste: Tried the pistachio white champaca coconut, which was delicious and paired nicely with the nuttiness of the pistachios atop. Overall, would recommend if you're willing to wait for a long time / order online ahead of time.

Arcadia location is FAR better. My first visit to Molly Tea was the SG location. Submitted my online order at 10:30am with a scheduled pick-up time for 3:15pm. I arrived on-time, anticipating that my drink order would be ready. It was not fulfilled until 1.5 HOURS LATER at 4:45pm. Wasted my time and ruined my plans for that evening. Their drinks are overhyped and not worth the wait. There are MANY better tea spots around the area.

Molly Tea is the best here. Strong sweet floral flavor from their jasmine milk tea with 30% sweetness. Even at 30% sweet it is still sweet from the floral flavor their drinks are known for having. Kind and efficient staff and they always seem very busy.

FIRST visit: * FARE(S) feasted on: *** Jasmine tea (pure, no sugar) *** Matcha jasmine latte * FRIENDLY service: Yes * FRESH air seating outside? 1 table * FEATURES: 12 small tables inside lining wall & store-front window side; 1 bathroom inside * FAIR pricing: Yes * FEE processing: None. Kiosk or cashier ordering * FREE parking: Yes, only 4 car spots right in front (teeny lot), or open street parking on the sides * FYI: A bit chaotic on arrival - there seemed to be no distinct lines upon entering to place order and no large back-wall menu easily discernible while waiting. But basically: 1 line for kiosk ordering, 1 line for cashier ordering. Pickup area shares same long cashier counter and again, bit chaotic... they didn't call out order names either so you had to ask. Loud ambience with music. Visit was on late afternoon, weekend. Drinks were enjoyable. FOUR & 1/2 stars **** '

The hype is no joke. We waited a while for our drinks but well worth it. The best jasmine tea I've ever tried omg. So strong, prominent, smooth, and flavorful. Not overwhelmingly sweet and just perfect. Would highly rec and come back. Prepare to wait in a long line tho lol

got the jasmine tea and it was really good, im the type to usually not notice such differences in quality nuances but this time i did and it was very premium. the place was also nice but kind of a little dirty when we went and staff almost got our order wrong. but it was cool, might be because it was near closing time.

    Matcha White Champaca Salted Cheese

I thought this was an elegant and fun looking tea spot. The drinks here were delicious as well. I only want to hear a couple months ago, but it looks like the place is permanently closed. :( They might have other locations in the general area. The way to order here was primarily from a kiosk with people helping you out if needed. I came by to grab a drink before meeting some friends for dinner. I ordered a Matcha white champaca salted cheese. The only thing I really knew about this drink was the Matcha part lol. But it looked and sounded amazing so I went with it. It was really good! Interesting flavors for sure. I really enjoyed the drink that I got here. If this place is truly closed it's really sad. Hopefully I could go to another location soon.

    Snowy Gardenia

ever since i first had molly tea, i always compare subsequent tea shops to it and think "hmmm this would taste even better if it had molly tea's snowy cream on top..." LOL i love just eating the cream on its own with the crunchy pecans sometimes. my go-to drinks are usually the snowy gardenia and the snowy jasmine, and they're always consistently made every time i go! i love how the tea is perfectly sweetened for me when i order it less sweet, and you can still taste the tea flavor! two things that i do dislike about this location is how crowded it gets and how terrible the parking is. i'm glad that it is crowded bc it keeps this place in business, but do beware that wait can be up to 30 mins sometimes! for the parking, there is a tiny lot outside the store that looks like an accident waiting to happen, and there is street parking, so you can choose your battles there.

    Interior
    Chewson H.

Between the Arcadia one and this one, the interior of this one is a lot bigger and more spacious. The menus appear to be the same and the drinks taste just as good. Compared to the Arcadia one, it's just as fragrant and delicious. The inside of this one is a bjt better for actually staying at inside the tea shop as there are seats and there are outlets if you want to use a laptop. There is also outdoor seating if you like that. My go to is always the Jasmine Milk Tea with Oat Milk and the consistency is there. Good and delicious as always. Pricing is similar to the Arcadia one but this one doesn't charge sales tax for whatever reason so it's slightly cheaper because of that. The only reason why I didn't give this place 5 stars is because it takes forever to get a drink. Sometimes it's even taken me an hour before I got a drink. Parking for this one is horrendous. There's maybe like 6 parking spots out front if you don't count the handicap spots and it's a really tight parking lot. Your best bet is to park on the street and just walk in.

Double Hazelnut Choco Lava and Matcha Jasmine Salted Cheese
    Robert C.

I got the Double Hazelnut Choco Lava. I thought it was alright. I didn't taste much of the hazelnut and it was more chocolate forward. My wife got the Matcha Jasmine Salted Cheese and the jasmine tea was very floral and I thought it tasted much better. They have a pretty big indoor and outdoor space with lots of places to sit.

    Do they accept cash?

Yes at the counter. Think the kiosk are cc only.

    Do they have WiFi?

There was not an open access WiFi network to join. They did have private WiFi, but there aren't any instructions posted anywhere (nor did I ask), so it's unclear if that's only meant for them rather than customers.

My friends also love their chocolate ones . Each one has a thin crust and generous filling--just be careful not to let the filling burst out when you eat them! Besides cream puffs, I never expected their other pastries to be this delicious Rose Lychee Croissant Their laminating technique is truly impressive--crispy and flaky with a sweet-tangy sauce, perfect for summer. Dubai Chocolate Although it's topped with chocolate sauce, it's not as sweet as expected--perfectly suited to Chinese tastes. The pistachio paste is deliciously fragrant! Kimchi Bacon Roll Number one in my heart! I'm a firm believer in sweet-and-savory combos! It's packed with bacon and eggs , mixed with kimchi, yet has a delightful sweetness--just one bite and my eyes lit up!! I tried several cream puff flavors, and I definitely recommend chilling them before eating. The shell stays crisp, and the filling tastes even better cold. My favorites were the Maple Pecan and Black Sesame Hojicha. The maple flavor was noticeable without being overly sweet, and the slightly bitter dark chocolate coating balanced it really well. The black sesame and hojicha combination was also excellent, with a strong nutty flavor followed by a subtle roasted tea finish. The Dubai Pistachio Chocolate Croissant was easily the highlight of my visit. The croissant was flaky and crisp, and the inside was packed with crunchy pistachio kataifi, chocolate, and a generous amount of pistachio cream. The pistachio flavor tasted natural and nutty rather than overly sweet or artificial, and you could actually taste small pieces of ground pistachio. I also really enjoyed the Kimchi Bacon Garlic Roll. It had a great mix of savory, slightly sweet, creamy, smoky, and tangy flavors. The Raspberry Rose Lychee Croffin was lighter and more refreshing, especially after being chilled. The raspberry, rose, and lychee flavors worked surprisingly well together without tasting too floral. Even the Almond Croissant had a nice surprise inside with lemon custard, which helped balance the richness. Their flattened croissant was also incredibly crispy and reminded me of an extra-buttery palmier. I paired everything with the pistachio coffee, which was another standout. The pistachio cream topping was thick, rich, and actually tasted like pistachio instead of just flavored syrup. There are so many creative items here, but the flavors still feel thoughtful and well balanced. I would absolutely come back for the pistachio croissant, cream puffs, and coffee.

There was a steady stream of people coming and leaving at all times. We ordered from the self serve kiosk. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks when there were only 3 people ahead of us. The drinks were watered down in comparison to other places despite being less ice for two drinks. The hojicha latte with brown sugar pearls is only available on weekends. The tea taste and milk didn't mesh together well. Oolong tea with pudding also tasted more like water than tea. The pudding was overwhelming. It is similar (if not the same) as ones you get from japanese convenience stores. For the price point, I would have expected berger taste and quality.
