Picture this -- covered seating, oversized hanging lamps doing their best "moody Pinterest board" impression, heaters humming away so you can pretend it's not 50 degrees out. It's the kind of space that makes you want to cancel your other plans and just live there with your friends. The pizza is solid, no notes needed. The salads, though? Borderline showing off. And the dessert and drink menu -- full beer, wine, and cocktail lineup -- means there's truly no reason to ever leave. Gluten-free folks, rejoice: their GF crust is so good it should probably be illegal, since it's somehow indistinguishable from the regular stuff. Plus my buddy Kyle from Camp Meeker says it is the "best he's ever had". No sad cardboard substitute here. My friend and I met for dinner on a weeknight, we made a reservation to sit on the patio. The patio alone is comfortable and cute, and there was live music which added to the ambiance! We shared the house salad, it is yummy & refreshing, and is a large serving (yay!) which is perfect to split between the two and we even had a little extra. Each of us got our own Pepperoni Nirvana (Chris' Way, highly recommend) and oh my! We definitely could've shared the pizza as well and had 4 slices each, but I wanted leftovers. I was highly impressed, definitely made it to the top of my list of favorite pizza in Sonoma County. We shared the caramel cheesecake and again, oh my! It was outstanding. I knocked off one star because of the service. We were greeted shortly after we sat. Got our drinks & salad in, then once that was dropped off - ordered the pizzas. Once our pizzas arrived, it seemed as if the server completely forgot about us. Which is fine because granted, it was a busy evening. Both of us have 10+ years in the restaurant industry so we understand. But it was time for us to order our dessert, she was not coming around. We finally got her attention and ordered the dessert and asked for the check, which is when we figured she had forgotten about us as that took forever to arrive. I've done multiple take-out orders from Sonoma Pizza Company. Each time the food has been absolutely terrific. Their sourdough crust is a combination of perfectly charred edge (leoparding) while also having the classic chew. Sonoma Pizza Company uses a naturally leavened sourdough crust which is made from 100% organic blends, locally sourced in Petaluma, and cold-fermented for 72 hours. All of their produce is local from Sonoma County and 100% organic. To start, and honestly, one of their best dishes, is their SPC Meatballs. Warning, they have a kick (spice), but the Bellwether Farm ricotta offers a refreshing coolness to the spice. One of the best things about the pizzas is that all of them have elevated ingredients. Nothing is a standard pizza that you'd find in "Anytown USA". They use local high quality cheeses and meats. They also believe that everyone should enjoy pizza, so they offer many vegan and gluten free options for no extra charge. Our favorite pizzas include: THE CONSTANT GARDENER - a refreshing "explosion of vegetable goodness". A wonderful mixture of tomato, artisanal mushrooms, peppers and creamy mozzarella cheese. We just enjoyed this during our last order and will definitely be getting it again. SPC COMBO - has been our day one go-to pizza. The toppings are generous! I'm breaking my self-imposed rule of not giving five stars to a place I've only been to once, but sue me -- the pizza here was EXCELLENT. Went during lunch and sat outside (which is either wise or needed with a larger group -- we were 7 people) -- they have outdoor heaters, which was necessary and worked great. To be honest, if you don't need to sit outside or the weather isn't gorgeous, I'd probably suggest sitting inside -- there's not really a nice view and you do hear outside noise. But that didn't detract from our meal in the slightest! We ordered three pizzas for 7 of us, plus two salads to share. One friend also ordered some garlic bread, which came with some marinara dipping sauce on the side. Neapolitan pizza is different from what you get at a typical pizza place and these pizzas were particularly delicious and well-made. The house salad and caesar salad were both excellent -- fresh, fresh, fresh, with lovely dressings, neither of which overpowered the flavor of the veggies. Pizza-wise, we shared a Margherita, a Bianca and an SPC combo. That marinara sauce that was used to dip the garlic bread into was featured on both of the sauce-based pizzas, and boy was it excellent. Simple but so flavorful! We also had some chili oil on the side for dipping pizza/crust -- recommend that if you're someone who likes a bit of heat. They have some interesting drink choices as well -- a hibiscus cardamom tea, which I didn't try, but was a hit at our table, as well as a particularly rooty root beer. We were too full for dessert, but even with all that food we left sated but not uncomfortably full. cute little spot in forestville. would not have found this had taylor not recommended it. cute decor and aesthetic. i went with a bunch of people and shared everything which was fun. my ideal dinner set up. the staff was so attentive and made sure i could get the tab without any argument from my group. i started with the citrus passionfruit house made soda. wasn't super carbonated like the average soda but great flavor and super refreshing. first up was the Warmed olives with chili threads served in a citrus spiced marinade. i liked the warmed temp. next up was the Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Aleppo pepper, salt, served with a preserved lemon aioli. the aioli was interesting. it tasted like something that i had tasted before, but i couldn't put my finger on it. very "essence of" flavor. the meatballs were beef-pork-prosciutto meatballs with house made marinara, Bellwether Farms ricotta, shaved parmesan, and fried herbs. great meatballs. def on the spicier side for meatballs, but i was a fan of melty cheese was a nice touch for sure. we ordered the seasonal burrata which was Burrata with Beets & Citrus which had Badger flame beets, cara cara orange, blood orange, pomelo, candied kumquats, puffed barley. It was super fresh tasting though and a great quality of all the ingredients. I wish there was a dressing on it, but that's just a personal preference. the Sunflower Seed Caesar had Little gem lettuces, house-made croutons, shaved parmesan, toasted sunflower seeds dressed in our tangy anchovy caesar dressing. i'll give them points for the lettuce Being crispy, i ordered the spc combo which had Tomato sauce, pepperoni, fennel sausage, mozzarella, provolone, parmesan, Mycopia mushrooms, red onions, peppadew peppers. was definitely a little hot, but I thought it had a good balance. It was a good call to add the prosciutto. The garlic on this was impeccable chefs kiss. the last pizza we got Funky Fungi which came with Mixed Mycopia mushrooms, Marin French brie cream, mozzarella, sautéed garlic chives, red onion, parsley, parmesan. + Haley's Way: Fennel sausage and black truffle oil. this was my favorite pizza of the evening. it was very well balanced. I love a sausage and mushroom pizza, so I'm glad they had this. You can't go out to eat and not get dessert, So we tried two different ones. Another internet gem randomly found on FB. It's about a 30min trek for me to get out to Forestville from SR. I packed up the husband and dog and off we went. Of course we had to sit al fresco style with the poochie. They have a cute pet friendly patio and the Belgian Malinois loved thier potatoes and pizza crust. My little vegan heart was taken to paradise when I found out that I can make their pizzas both vegan and Gluten free. The Fungi captured my attention and went for that. I added vegan cheese and the vegan sausage. However, I am not a vegan cheese or mock meat type of vegan and will leave that off next time. The vegan sausage is more of a crumbled Chorizo. The GF crust is sooooooo good. It's made in house and definitely take the cake for the best crust. They also have 2 vegan dessert options. The service was incredible. The establishment was clean. Fabulous pizza, wonderful side dishes, lovely service! Stopped by for dinner and there was a 30-minute wait for a table on the back deck. When we ate here before, the upper deck wasn't open so we sat outside at the tables next to the parking lot. The host said that the upper deck is open all summer. They were right on target with the wait estimate. Exactly 30 minutes later, I received a text saying our table was ready! The upper deck is spacious and has lots of seating. It is quite lovely and we had the most delightful and friendly server, Natalie. She told us that they had sold out of their special, the Peachy Piggy. We were all very disappointed as that was the pizza we wanted to order. So instead, we decided on: Funky Fungi - Mixed mushrooms, French brie cream, sautéed garlic chives, red onions, parsley SPC Combo - pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, red onions, peppers, cheeses Potatoes - crispy seasoned wedges of potatoes with a chili-garlic aioli Sunflower Seed Caesar salad - whole lettuce leaves mixed in Caesar dressing with croutons and shaved parmesan cheese We were glad we ordered some dishes before the pizza as we were told the pizzas would take about 50 minutes. Natalie brought us two extra carafes of water, which was a great observation. The potatoes and Caesar salad were outstanding. Potatoes cooked perfectly, crispy edges, nice dip. The salad had whole lettuce leaves tossed in dressing, placed beautifully on the dish with shaved parmesan and croutons. We did not see any sunflower seeds on our salad though even though it is called a sunflower seed Caesar but it was not a problem for us. The Sonoma-style pizzas are 12 inches, wood-fired with fresh ingredients. The sourdough crust is thin, soft, yet crispy. The flavors meld together beautifully and provide a wow taste sensation. We will stop by again soon and hopefully we will be able to order their Peachy Piggy before the season is over. We had food from here the day after Christmas. We ordered it to go. We ordered a number of different pizzas and salads and it was all good. Sorry for the lack of photos, the moment the food arrived we dug right in. I had the "Hen in the Vineyard" which had an amazing combination of different flavors in each mouthful. Loved my meal here!! My boyfriend and I stopped in on a weekend for lunch around 1pm, and it was a gorgeous day outside so we opted for outdoor patio seating. The patio on a raised platform behind the building and the decor is super cute. The seating area is covered with some adjustable sunshades as well. There was lots of seating, so this could be a nice place for a group meal, though I don't know what the inside space looks like. There's a small parking lot just outside the building. We ordered the Patatas Sonoma to start, which were well seasoned and crispy and came with a yummy aioli. For the main we shared the Chicken Bacon Bliss Special. Without the starter we probably would've finished the pizza, but we ended up with two slices to take home. I'd say this was still a good amount of food for two people, and I probably could have eaten more pizza if I hadn't been saving room for dessert. The pizza was absolutely delicious and the crust/dough really stood out to us for being pleasantly fluffy and chewy. Great flavor combo with the toppings -- I've never thought to add chili oil to pizza but the subtle heat kick really works! I would definitely like to come back and order this pizza again. SEP2025 So we've been through a few times. Once for takeout and once for dine in. When we ate in on a Friday night, and it was quite busy. Food took a long while to come out and there were definitely a lot of to go orders during as well. Which we learned from and took it to go the second time around haha. Our server was really nice though. He answered any questions that we had and checked on us quite frequently despite how busy it was. The inside is laid out well with a number of small tables and some larger seating to fit mutliple types of parties. Definitely a lot of families as well. When we dined in we tried the strawberry greens forever, the meatballs, funky fungi haley's way, and the peachy piggy with a trio of dips. The meatballs were a suggestion from the server so we could dip bread into it and it worked quite well. The meatballs were a bit tough for me, but the sauce was rich and added well for the pizza crusts. The strawberry greens tasted really fresh. I liked the strawberries in it as some were pickled which made for varied bites and flavors throughout. Both pizzas the flavors worked really well. The fungi had a good amount of mushrooms on it, and everything was cooked well. The other ingredients balanced well and added a nice savoriness to it. The peachy pig was the most interesting I'd say though. Just a nice salty sweet between the peach and the bacon bite to bite. The drizzled balasalmic added a nice touch with the greens. The crust was easy to bite through at the end of the meal. For the trio, it wasn't as useful as we thought it would be. The pizzas had a good flavor profile already and they didn't add to it. I will say we did repurpose the crispy garlic and chili oil in noodles, and the pepperoncini into a hot dog topper. For pickup, we got the pepperoni nirvana chris's way, a constant gardener, and an order of the garlic bread. The pepperoni nivana chris's way was the better of the two. The pizza was honestly the best I've ever had. We went yesterday and shared the sunflower Caesar, garlic bread, pizza, and lemon sorbet. The sunflower seeds in the Caesar were unexpected but added a subtle sweetness and great texture. The garlic bread was crisp outside, fluffy inside, and even better dipped in marinara. Really impressed. The crust was crispy all the way around but still soft and airy inside, it had that perfect bounce. I don't usually like red onions, but with the fennel sausage it worked perfectly. The fennel really stood out. The Russian River Hazy IPA was also really good. I'm not an IPA person, BUT this one was mellow, not overly carbonated, and had a slight fruity note that made it easy to drink. Truly loved being there overall.
