Momo Sushi & Ramen was a great casual spot. This is primarily a place to pickup your food but they did have a few small tables where you can sit. They do not offer free tap water, but you can purchase bottled water ($2). I got the three roll maki lunch combo ($14) and it was really tasty. You have the choice of soup or salad, and I got the soup. I ordered the spicy tuna roll, salmon avocado roll, and shrimp tempura roll and thought they were all fresh and tasty. Overall, I'll definitely be back, because I think it's a great value for the price. I hope that in the future they will offer water and table service, but I understand they're more of a takeout spot. read more

I come here on occasion for ramen specifically as it's the nearest available restaurant with ramen offered on the menu. When I come in for take-out the service is fairly quick and I've never had a problem with them before. The restaurant itself looks very cute, I just have yet to dine-in. Hands down one of the worst dining experiences I've had in my life. When I walked in, everyone stared at me. I said "do you have a menu?" And they pointed to the end of the bar where two employees were talking. They kept talking while I walked up and so I grabbed a menu myself. I ordered $60 worth of food and they demanded to put it in to go containers even though I was dining in. I sat down after ordering and immediately got my seaweed salad. The food kept coming one by one, sushi roll, some gyoza. All of this clearly boxed stuff you could find at the store (except the sushi which is made there). Finally the star of the show walked in, katsu curry ramen. They set it down on my table and the curry broth came in a separate container so I had to dump it in myself. Why so Wasteful? The food is just okay. Since it's all immediately heated in a microwave they don't salt anything. The curry broth is bland as hell. I mean really, how can curry flavor, one of the most rich flavors taste bland? Honestly not the worst part. The entire time no one offered me anything to drink, not even water, so I didn't offer any tip. The interior is very clean but they do not wait tables and just talk to each other the entire time because they have no customers. You'd think there would be a little music playing inside, nope. Just an empty dining room, with the droning ambiance of a school hallway on Saturday. Someone please open a decent sushi place on Flatbush Ave that doesn't treat customers like trash. read more

Sushi Tatsu III is one of my go-to Asian delivery places. I can't speak about the dining experience as I've never dined in however I can certainly talk about the food. There are several reasons I choose to order from sushi Tatsu over other places and here they are: First, they have a great variety of dishes from Thai to Japanese. And shockingly both are very well done. My go to Entree is the Thai green curry chicken and it's one of the best I've had, full of vegetables including carrots, sweet potatoes, and peppers all married together in a spicy, herbaceous coconut curry sauce. It really never gets old for me. I also love the pork gyoza and the shrimp tempura as appetizers. The gyoza are fantastic, with the perfect ratio of filling to wrapper and real pieces of minced ginger inside. The gyoza sauce is the perfect blend of sweet and salty, I could eat it on anything but it goes great with the dumplings. The shrimp tempura is crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside and comes with tempura fried veggies including sweet potato and zucchini. Finally, the prices are extremely reasonable - the green curry chicken entree is only around $10 and it's a healthy portion. In short, if you are looking for great Asian food and can't decide between Thai versus Japanese, have them both and go to (or order from) Sushi Tatsu III! read more

It was a bit on the salty side and I've definitely had better ramen for the same price. However if you want something quick and easy to satisfy your cravings, it does the job. Got take out from here on Thursday night on my way home after work. Ordered a Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box with a side order of Japanese Chicken wings. (They're all Chinese at this location btw). Total $22.75 takeout. Including tax. (A bento box gives you 2 choices for around $15.90). I had asked for salmon sushi but when I opened the bag it was different fishes (1 salmon, tuna, white one and something else). I was hungry and didnt wanna go back so ate it anyway. They only gave a tiny thing of soya sauce, but lots of wasabi. The california roll (crabmeat and avocado) was okay, but rice wasnt packed tight and would dismantle when I picked up with chopsticks. Chicken wings were pretty bland, crispy but relied on the sauce (thai chilli sauce!?) to be flavorful. No other sauce was offered. Shumai was bland and no extra sauce for that. I couldnt finish everything so I saved the Teriyaki Chicken for the next night. On Friday evening I got home from work and heated up the Teriyaki Chicken with rice (comes on a bed of brown gravy and onions) and 3 pieces of broccoli for dinner. A good 3 minutes. Made sure it was hot. I demolished it, and continued to do some more work. 3-4 hours later I wasnt feeling so fine and ended up getting severe diarrhoea and vomiting all night and the next morning. It took me a full 24 hours of bed rest and no eating to not feel like death. It was painful to say the least, but it was Memorial Day weekend so at least I had work off (but missed out on a whole lotta fun). All in all a pretty bad experience, they got part of my order wrong, their food is bland, and I got severe food poisoning. A neighborhood friend really vouched for this place, and I wanna support local business but this was a really shitty experience. Literally. read more

However the recent order disappointed me the most. I made the order through their website which is shown on google under their business name, and same as always ordered at least 30 dollars in order to get the free Japanese soda, says on the picture too, I left a note along with the order. After I got the delivery, an Chinese accent woman Said that they promotion doesn't apply to online orders, and tried to push it back to me badly. I told her that my eyes & nose say otherwise. I explained to her that I was hungry & ordered what I wanted. Why would I call up & go through that foolishness if the fish was fresh. One of my regular seamless orders when I want to satisfy my sushi cravings. I recently tried their chirashi, which is a compilation of sushi rice, 5 different raw fish (salmon, tuna, etc), and other goodies. It's pretty decent and fresh, but a little on the pricey side. Their sushi rolls are not bad. I've ordered random rolls and have been pleased every single time. They have really good lunch specials where you can get several rolls for a good deal! As for their thai food, I would recommend to avoid at all costs. I tried their pad see ew the other day, and it's probably the worst I've ever had. The noodles were stuck together, dry, and flavorless. It was pretty much unpalatable. Their pineapple fried rice was also a major disappointment... sad and bland. I've recently tried their thai section. The Massaman curry came out a little watery but with a load of fresh veggies (bell peppers, red onions, carrot) not so much potato (which I like) . The ratio of veggie to rice was kinda astonishing coming from a place like this. My husband had the Chicken brocoli, which came with a large portion of veggies but in a better sauce than in mine. The menu says MoMo now; it switched owners sometime last year I believe. While the previous incarnation was good, MoMo has kicked it up a notch. This business is situated between a 99-cent store and a supermarket on a busy commercial avenue. Most of the area eateries are nothing special and largely takeout. The bulk of MoMo's business is also takeout, and while I order from there, I also stop in sometimes. The setup in the small place reminds me of the very first sushi joint I ever ate at many moons ago, except there is more light. The decor is cute, with little banners over the sushi bar, but basic. That's not why I am in there of course. The service is excellent, the fish is fresh and tasty, the rice is properly cooked, and the rice/fish balance is perfect. The ginger is the fresh kind, the wasabi is real, and the soy sauce is good quality. I enjoyed every morsel. The waitstaff and the chef's friendly "thank-you"s and smiles followed me out the door.
