They also have adoption, training, grooming, and pet hospital services. When you order online, you can have it shipped home, or you can pick up at the store within a couple hours. Cat groomer called after we dropped off our dog and cat. Stated the dogs were being loud but hex was just scared. Not aggressive, "he's really sweet" but failed to notify us that she wasn't going to groom him. Instead, she thought it was a great idea to confine him in his carrier the whole entire time . If they would've called and told us I would've just picked him up and not let him stay there in fear. Never will I ever bring my cat or my own dog here. I've been to this PetSmart a handful of times now, and it's because of the convenience and that they always seem to have what I'm looking for. The store itself is well-laid out. There are a few workers walking around to help if you have questions. On some of my recent trips, I purchased birthday treats for my dog, paw wipes, and my latest trip I got some dog chews and pH strips. It also looks like this location occasionally has adoption events, and training classes for dogs. The brochure mentions a variety of classes, so I think we might consider signing up our dog for some of those classes! I think they were pretty affordable too! This was my first time getting Rx food and Kayla (one of the store managers) was extremely helpful. She was patient and personable, she helped navigating through the process. I normally don't do reviews but I'm at a bit of a loss here. I've been coming here for grooming for a while now-never had any problems-I was in today to check in my dog for a routine appointment in the grooming area, and while I was getting checked in I was hit fully by a door. At first I thought it was an accident and went to see if I was standing in the wrong area-I wasn't-turning around I see an employee named Rebecca walk right past me. No acknowledgement, no apology, not even a sideways glance. Rebecca walks into the grooming area and just leaves me and the employee checking me and my dog in. I don't think she even acknowledged the employee either. In defense of pet smart the grooming employee looked appalled at what happened and saw that I was in a lot of pain, apologizing on behalf of the woman that hit me. I later found out from another employee as I was checking out at the counter that this woman is a manager? It makes me really sad to hear this because I haven't had any issues, but this woman was incredibly rude, and unprofessional. I haven't ever seen her before so I'd assume she's new, hoping she's temporary and they get another manager soon. Until then if you see a Rebecca walking around I'd recommend avoiding her and talking to the associates, since they're much nicer usually. I'm also going to include photos of bruises on my arm and leg that I'm 99.9% certain I got from the door hitting me. read more

I always love going to PetSmart and have great experiences, but Mark from this store specifically had given me just the best experience ever. Long story short, I had to buy pee pads for the first time and was just standing there looking at brands and researching on my phone, and then Mark came along and asked if I needed help. Not only did he help me, he took the extra step to make sure that I was aware of which brands I should choose based on my dog's breed and their mannerisms, listing out all the quirks and tips I should know for my dog using a pee pad, how many I should get, etc. He even suggested things like a spray that let's them know biologically that they should use it more. And since I told him I was on a budget, I asked him about any sales going on and he was so patient and checked for me. So when I went to the checkout line, I was so happy that he was there to help me too! Such an amazing guy with a very comforting aura. This is for Grooming... Selina took outstanding care with our pup today for his first visit at the groomers. Bath, blow dry, brushed teeth and trimmed nails. Sidney smells so good! The app and online made setting up the appointment a breeze and what shots were required was very clear and super helpful. Check in was quick, everyone there was upbeat, professional and kind. I felt confident leaving him in their care. Two hours later, paid via the app, and picked up a very happy, content pup whose coat gleamed in the sun all the way home. this is for grooming: i took my dog here a few days ago, they had time for a walk in bath and nail trim so i dropped her off and it took about an hour. today, i came across all these scabs, blisters, redness, dry spots, and bleeding all down my dogs lower spine. i can't say for sure if the groomer CAUSED this but either did or chose to say nothing to be about the well being of my dog; i tried to scratch her butt and she kept wincing in pain so it must've been obvious to someone trying to wash her. you can see from the photos below (all separate areas) how much pain she must be in; extremely disappointed and i will be bringing her back here to have the groomers explain. read more

Would really like to give them 0 stars specifically because of Kayla an alleged manager. This morning, I walked into the store, trying to get over-the-counter medicine because my dog is sick. Doors opened for me to walk in, immediately as I walk in I'm asked if I have an appointment and I said no I'm here to buy over-the-counter medication. One of the employee said that they don't open until 10. I replied and I said OK. There is two signs on the door that say otherwise I walk out I look at both signs. I walk back in and I tell them yes there's two signs on the door that say otherwise. I'm walking out another individual by the name Kayla starts charging and yelling and repeatedly saying that they open at 10 mind you, I already let myself out. I'm walking to my car. She's clapping as she's yelling. It's not even 9:30 in the morning. And I turned back around and I walked back up and I tell her to look at the signs that I'm referring to. She then starts to scream and clap and I tell her to watch her voice and not to clap at me she continues to scream, she's reading the banfield sign on the door but screaming it. I tell her that is the banfield sign and then says glad you can read. Ibwas referring to the store hours sign. She's too focused on screaming the banfield sign. What if I had impairment issues? Maybe I'm legally blind? Maybe I have a learning disability. What if I had my dog with me and he's trained to attack when I'm getting charged at yelled at and screaming? Neither of the two apologize for the confusion neither of them acknowledged what I was saying. Kayla was only focused on Banfield hours and I wasn't even referring to the Banfield store hours because I didn't need to go to Banfield. I just needed over-the-counter medication for my pet. I immediately called corporate and reported her. I doubt she's one of the managers. I suspect she's either a lead or a Supervisor. I have never ever had a negative encounter at this specific store in the 11 years I've been a customer here. I come here weekly. I live less than 6 minutes away from here I do not have a need to go elsewhere and I shouldn't have the need to go elsewhere because of an employee. She is an embarrassment to the city and community. I waited until 1030 to call the store to get the store manager's name to let her know that her fellow employee has been reported to corporate and I explained why. The store manager was more concerned on apologizing about the signs and the confusion than her alleged manager's behavior. I did ask for her to confirm what her title was at the store. She said she was a part of leadership which I figured because there's no way in hell a manager would behave that way. The store manager proceeded to tell me that she would review the cameras to see the employees aggression and behavior and that she will be coached. Unfortunately, a person like that cannot be coached. The store manager was pleasant, but she's missing the point here. I didn't call to complain about the store hours and how confusing the signs were. I called to complain about her alleged managers behavior. She escalated it. She was the aggressor. She was confrontational. The moment they said it wasn't opened I knew to walk out. I just wanted them to know signs said otherwise. read more

The transfer was quick and easy, which I was able to immediately use to buy the kibble at this Petsmart. I also tacked on a coupon from the Treat Trail game on the Petsmart app to get a further 20% off. (Although I hear the game is being discontinued). All in all, I was glad to have stopped by this location to get the low-fat kibble for my dog, which they had plenty in stock. read more

The service is good, but sometimes the line is too long and moves too slowly. The staff are professionally trained, friendly, and knowledgeable. However, the prices in the store are more expensive than on their website. For the same item, you will lose $1-5 per item. It's better to order online and pick up at the store for the lower price. But if you're going to do that, why not order from any online store and have it delivered to your home? The cat grooming and medication area has been empty for a long time. Dogs have plenty of choices for shampoos and food, while the section for cats is either limited or unavailable since last year. Some cat areas even have spider webs and dust. People would spend more if the store adjusted their prices to match the online prices. Otherwise, it feels like the store is cheating customers by charging them different prices than what they offer online. It's a bad business tactic, and they should replace their marketing strategy manager. read more

My little Princess and I were planning to go to a Yappy Hour Event and she was needing a day at the Salon to look her best! I had booked the appointment a week in advanced. I I received a confirmation phone call a couple days prior and was expecting to have a great appointment. The morning of my appointment I received a follow up call from Petsmart indicating that the groomer Aurora was scheduled with had called out for the day. I understand that life happens and as a Business this particular issue was not their fault. They offered me a reschedule and 20% off the next appointment. The problem was they weren't willing to fit me in until another whole week. When asked asked about the availability of appointments at other locations I was told that I would need to check or call around myself. Considering they wanted me to basically reschedule at the end of the line I did not feel 20% off was enough to make up for the inconvenience and lack of service. When I explained that because she's a Pomeranian and too much hair and her backside could result in her having problems when she goes to the restroom I asked if it was possible to be squeezed in for a quick nail trim and sanitary trim. They were not willing to accommodate even that considering they just canceled my appointment. As a large national company I expected better and was not pleased with the resolution. read more

I saw the good reviews about Gabriela and made the appointment. I was pleasantly surprised when Dexter came out to be picked up. Gabriela did a fantastic job and I highly recommend her. One employee keeps harassing you trying to find out about your tank and about it. I said I've been doing it 15 years, I don't need help. She wouldn't give it up until I just kinda ignored her or refused to answer. I went back another time and she started that up again. I got my bag of fish home and they were all dead in 20 mins!! The next time I went, same thing. Alive when there, all dead when I got home. I've gone there 15 years and never had that problem. The prices are now 10x and the fish don't even make it a week. We usually come for the grooming service specifically the nail grind. It's hard for me to bring my dogs in due to work, so I drop in when I can. They still take you when you don't have appointments. Do not ask for Robert for grooming service I was trying to bring my puppy in for a groom. As I walked in with my puppy, the stylist Robert immediately asked why is my dog in a cage, assuming that my dog has behavioral issue. I told him its because its easier for me to carry my dog around. I don't understand why is carrying my dog in a carrier an issue to him. He started labeling my dog with behavioral issue only because my dog was inside a carrier and was telling me that they might not be able to provide the whole grooming service to my dog. This isn't my first time bringing my dog to groom at petsmart and I also had my dog inside a carrier during previous times, no one has ever had issue with my dog and would tell me that my dog was very well behave. However, when Im bringing my dog in this time, all of the sudden my dog became a dog with behavior issue all because she was carried inside a carrier?? what the heck? The store, and their kibble, is infested with pantry moths. I purchased two bags of Purina pro plan and one of Purina One. All we're infested with moths and larva. I had dumped the kibble into my dog food storage containers when I discovered the infestation. I don't particularly want pantry moths all over my apartment so I was not able to transfer the kibble back into the bags. PetSmart refused to take back what kibble I brought in.
