Selina took great care of my baby during her nail grind and grooming. She always comes out smelling delicious and she takes care of all the trimming we ask her to do around her back legs. Great service.

I normally don't do reviews but I'm at a bit of a loss here. I've been coming here for grooming for a while now-never had any problems-I was in today to check in my dog for a routine appointment in the grooming area, and while I was getting checked in I was hit fully by a door. At first I thought it was an accident and went to see if I was standing in the wrong area-I wasn't-turning around I see an employee named Rebecca walk right past me. No acknowledgement, no apology, not even a sideways glance. Rebecca walks into the grooming area and just leaves me and the employee checking me and my dog in. I don't think she even acknowledged the employee either. In defense of pet smart the grooming employee looked appalled at what happened and saw that I was in a lot of pain, apologizing on behalf of the woman that hit me. I later found out from another employee as I was checking out at the counter that this woman is a manager? It makes me really sad to hear this because I haven't had any issues, but this woman was incredibly rude, and unprofessional. I haven't ever seen her before so I'd assume she's new, hoping she's temporary and they get another manager soon. Until then if you see a Rebecca walking around I'd recommend avoiding her and talking to the associates, since they're much nicer usually. I'm also going to include photos of bruises on my arm and leg that I'm 99.9% certain I got from the door hitting me.

Never really had an issue with this store, other than employees not acknowledging you on the floor, I think today was the first time my son and I were acknowledged. They have great sales at times, but my son enjoys bringing his dog in to treat him with new items.

This store has always been my go to place for my kids needs. The staff is kind and go the extra mile not just for me but I'm sure for all the customers including the pets. Thank you to Andrew for bringing out my curbside order . Being disabled this service rocks . I do go inside to shop because I enjoy this store but having a back injury I'm limited .

Where is the management? These bathrooms are filthy starting at 8 am when the store isn't even open yet! Clearly night shift doesn't clean when closing and day shift doesn't clean either. If too busy of a shopping center, close the bathrooms to public. No toilet paper or paper towels to dry hands either. Staff says they always look like this, which means the manager needs to be replaced.

This is for Grooming... Selina took outstanding care with our pup today for his first visit at the groomers. Bath, blow dry, brushed teeth and trimmed nails. Sidney smells so good! The app and online made setting up the appointment a breeze and what shots were required was very clear and super helpful. Check in was quick, everyone there was upbeat, professional and kind. I felt confident leaving him in their care. Two hours later, paid via the app, and picked up a very happy, content pup whose coat gleamed in the sun all the way home. We will be back for monthly services since it was such a great experience!

this is for grooming: i took my dog here a few days ago, they had time for a walk in bath and nail trim so i dropped her off and it took about an hour. today, i came across all these scabs, blisters, redness, dry spots, and bleeding all down my dogs lower spine. i can't say for sure if the groomer CAUSED this but either did or chose to say nothing to be about the well being of my dog; i tried to scratch her butt and she kept wincing in pain so it must've been obvious to someone trying to wash her. you can see from the photos below (all separate areas) how much pain she must be in; extremely disappointed and i will be bringing her back here to have the groomers explain.

this is for grooming: lucia is soooo amazing! she does a stellar job with peanut each month. we love her to pieces and she is so skilled, talented, and sweet! she makes my pup look like a movie star each month

Larissa at grooming is awesome! Our Shih Tzu gizmo is always so happy and confident after getting groomed. Thank you Larissa and everyone at Tustin Petsmart :)

Gabriela is the only groomer I will take my Cairn Terrier to at the Petsmart in The District at Tustin. She is amazing with my very nervous terrier who will only let her trim his face. If I go near him with scissors or clippers he freaks out lol. I book with her way in advance on the Petsmart app (she is very popular) and have never been disappointed. She is an awesome groomer!

My boyfriend and I took in our cattle dog, Ollie, as a stray almost 4 months ago. Quick background: Ollie was found tied to a fire hydrant outside my work. Ollie is the sweetest boy, however is very reactive to other dogs and is a bundle of energy that presents as endless jumping and nipping. We have a senior Saint Bernard at home in which Ollie has been too rough/aggressive with her, even when our Saint Bernard makes it known that she doesn't want to be bothered. We tried water sprays at home and other attempts at training to no avail. We began to feel helpless as our biggest concern was his relationship with our Saint Bernard, as it got to the point where we felt we had to consider rehoming him. During our session with Brad, we immediately saw results which had us dumbfounded. Like other reviews have mentioned, his technique is not "mean," but is a firm mindset that Ollie requires. All the while, Brad emphasizes when to correct your dog and when to praise him, while stressing the fact that these techniques are not made to scare your dog, but rather establish a leader mentality while simultaneously letting the dog know that you provide love and safety. Of course, like any training, one can only be successful when carrying over these learned techniques at home, but Brad left us feeling confident and ready to continue the work. Even when we got home today, we already had seen a shift from Ollie. As for Brad himself - he is very approachable and really looks to understand both the dog and all the circumstances that come with them. You could really get a sense of how personal he is. We definitely recommend him. Thank you so much, Brad!

We brought our 2-year-old rescue chihuahua mix, Harry, to Sal in hopes that he could help us address these more significant trauma-related issues. Harry was a tough nut to crack, but after the one-week board and train, we were blown away by the positive changes we saw. Sal and his team made incredible breakthroughs with Harry. He was able to be held and touched by the trainers, stopped guarding, and became noticeably calmer and happier overall. The post-board and train "tune-ups" were also extremely effective, allowing us to troubleshoot concerns during our 1:1 follow-up sessions with Sal. Harry has continued to return to Sal for day boarding, touch-ups, and additional socialization with other dogs, which he loves. He is always excited to see Sal and the training staff, which tells us the experience was truly positive for him. Now that we've completed the initial training and several boarding sessions, Harry is doing great. We can have people enter our home, he can go to the vet, get his teeth cleaned with no anesthesia, and receive care without needing to be muzzled or heavily medicated, and he is much more compliant overall. A bonus is that we can now confidently leave Harry for a day or vacation boarding, knowing he is in the best care and continuing his training while we're away. We can't recommend Sal and his team enough for their incredible work, professionalism, and responsiveness with Harry.

The follow-up lessons were good and the pack walks are excellent for desensitizing your dog to other dogs. I definitely recommend Sal to anyone who has trouble with their dog's behavior.

Knowing that his wife Antonina is from Ukraine and that they have loved ones and deep personal connections in a region affected by war and uncertainty, I can only imagine the emotional stress they have carried over the years. Despite those challenges, they continue helping dogs and families in our community with remarkable dedication, and I wanted to acknowledge that before sharing my story. I am absolutely thrilled with the results and the experience I had with Vladae and SoCal Dog Training. I am a professional dog groomer, so I spend my days working with dogs and their owners. Over time, I noticed something interesting: several of my grooming clients were bringing in dogs that had undergone remarkable behavioral transformations. When I asked what had changed, the answer kept coming back the same--SoCal Dog Training. Around the same time, my veterinarian also spoke very highly of Vladae. After hearing so many positive things from people I trusted and seeing the results with my own eyes, I decided to reach out for help with my own Goldendoodle, June. June is the sweetest dog in the world, but she struggled with fear, insecurity, phobias, and noise sensitivities. In unfamiliar places, her tail would immediately tuck between her legs, and she would often become so nervous that she simply froze. Watching her struggle was heartbreaking. Our journey started with puppy training, continued through private lessons, and eventually led to SoCal Dog Training's Canine Boot Camp. Looking back now, it is honestly hard to believe how far she has come. Today, June is happier, more confident, and genuinely enjoying life. One of the most emotional moments for me was seeing her confidently running through busy public places and exploring her surroundings with joy. There was a time when she was so fearful she could barely move. Seeing the dog she has become today almost brought tears to my eyes. What impressed me most was how individualized the training was. As a groomer, I understand that every dog is different. Different dogs require different approaches, techniques, and sometimes different tools. I watched Vladae continually adjust and customize the program based on June's personality and emotional needs. Nothing ever felt like a one-size-fits-all approach. I also appreciated his honesty, authority, and surprisingly gentle approach. He never made unrealistic promises or simply told me what I wanted to hear. If anything, he under-promised and over-delivered--and that was exactly my experience. During our first FaceTime consultation, we openly discussed different training philosophies, methods, and tools. He explained the purpose behind each option and answered every question I had. I never felt pressured into anything. I felt informed, comfortable, and involved in every decision regarding June's training. One thing he told me early on stayed with me: "Come into this process with an open mind and an open heart, trust the process, do the work, and I'll do everything I can to help you succeed." That's exactly what happened. I had homework. I had to practice. I had to report back and continue learning alongside June. One of the biggest lessons I learned was that successful dog training isn't just about training the dog--it's equally about training the owner. As a groomer, I never thought about it that way before. In grooming, I do the work and the owner enjoys the result. Dog training is different. June wasn't the only one learning and growing--I was too. Looking back now, I truly feel that both June and I graduated from this program together. I also appreciated Vladae's honesty when he explained that dog training is a skill, not a magic wand. Like any skill, it needs to be practiced and maintained. That made perfect sense to me. What SoCal Dog Training gave us was a strong foundation and the knowledge to continue building on our success. One of my favorite memories was visiting June shortly before Boot Camp was completed. She was excited to see me, but after a few minutes it almost felt like she was saying, "Hi Mom! Okay, I'm good now--I'm hanging out with Vladi!" It was obvious she felt comfortable, safe, and genuinely happy. Will June ever be perfect? Probably not. No dog is. But compared to where we started, the transformation feels nothing short of miraculous. Most importantly, she is happy. She is confident. She enjoys life. And I enjoy life more because I no longer spend every day worrying about her. I cannot thank Vladae and SoCal Dog Training enough for everything they have done for June and for me. Thank you, Vladi, for giving my sweet girl the confidence to enjoy the world. We are both incredibly grateful.

Wife and I also highly recommend her private sessions after the board and train. 2-3 weeks is definitely not enough time to make sure behavior issues are completely addressed, so her sessions helped make sure we properly did our daily trainings with Dumping. Her sessions also evolved the trainings we did at home as our dog's aggression level kept going down and focus on his high alert/anxiety responses to stimuli, and try to help him associate his dopamine response to being relaxed. She also helped identify a food allergy that made him itchy, which added to his higher anxiety level. All these things added up and now our dog is a lot happier and hasn't displayed a snarl or showed his teeth in anger to anyone or any dogs in months! Thanks Sogi for helping Dumpling and us and hope this review helps others choose you over other trainers out there for their dogs.

Once we came home and picked her up, Bryan made it easy to understand the next steps and has consistently followed up with us to check how she's doing. It was suggested to train with an electric collar. My partner and I were considering it ourselves but didn't know how to use it properly. The SMS team have you try it - I wouldn't try something like this on my dog without knowing what it feels like a promise you, it's not at all painful.
