As you all should know by now Momo's is at a temporary location off Broadway. They are saving up to hopefully get their original spot back after there was a fire there! I have supported this local business as their huevos rancheros hit, especially when I don't feel like making breakfast! Plenty of food for my mom and I to share!

For fans of the restaurant, you probably already know that they are at a temporary location on Broadway while they wait for their main/original location to open back up after a nearby structure suffered fire damage. It's unfortunate they are going through this, but I did drop by to order recently to help them out, as they are doing their best to stay afloat at the moment while slinging their great food from the temp location. I ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast. Everything was solid... not the cheapest prices but honestly enough food for two, portions were VERY generous. Now even though they have a space at the side which they will allow people to eat at, there's not really regular food service and when I went the tables/chairs weren't even laid out. It's really primarily take-out only (see my photo attached) and it's not really easy to see the pickup window either. Here's to hoping this Vallejo institution is able to get back to their space soon!

From the outside, it doesnt look like much but walking in, you pass an outdoor patio area which wasn't being used but I guess might be setup if the weather is nice. Indoors doesnt look like the fancy pictures because they are not on Georgia Street. We had chilaquiles and the La Russell breakfast sandwhich. When our orders came out, it looked like they were prepping for a catering because of the large containers but then found out "holy sh*t that's our food! Wow." Needless to say, no need for them to do dishes because food was already in to go containers. Staff checked on us frequently to make sure if we needed anything. The chilaquiles came withe sour cream and guacamole on the side. I asked for pico de gallo but all they had was diced tomato and green onions. Nevertheless, the food was delicious and filling.

Great breakfast spot with amazing chicken and other solid breakfast options. Super quick pull up and order vibe perfect for grab-and-go. Crispy, flavorful, and always hits the spot. Highly recommend.

A bit of the decor and the specials. Also there is a tablet displaying various social media videos.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed Momo's yet!!?! Well, in my head I did. I must be getting old. Anyhoo, Momo's is FANTASTIC for so many reasons: Service : They are tops even when they are super busy ( which is usually the case ). It's a little place that fills up quickly. Sometimes there's a line but it's so worth the wait. Decor: it's so CUTE in there; they have plants and nice decor but don't let that deter you, lol, it is just as much COOL as it is CUTE. It's a welcoming vibe Menu: They have an extensive menu ( so many omelets to choose from) my son got nachos for breakfast. It was a tub full of nachos I mean deep! I got a hot link omelet and home style potatoes. Everything was delicious and they don't skimp. Food: Like I said delicious, and they give you a lot. Go and try it, you won't regret it.

Momo's is back! From what I hear it's a temporary location, but still nice dining area with great potential. Come out support a great breakfast and lunch spot with some Vallejo pride! The food is still awesome and the owner goes out of his way to make you comfy.

Still one of Best breakfast , Brunch, Lunch places in town. Setvice with a smile and a occasional local celeb to stop by to pay your meal! It feels like eating at home with your best friends and family. A little nook located off Georgia and Marin St. Dont miss your chance to hang out, stuff your face, and chill Ciao for now....

Cozy cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. This restaurant is located on Georgia St in downtown Vallejo - same street as the Vallejo Farmer's market on Saturday mornings. Food is good. Prices seem kind of high - $25 for chicken and waffles; $20 for Huevos Rancheros, but portions are generous. Menu is great. They have a mix of classic cafe + Mexican food items. Service is satisfactory. This is definitely a go-to for us on Saturday mornings. I

I've been looking for some good hot cakes. Welp I found them. When I arrived to the restaurant I was greeted with a smile and I received my order promptly. Usually breakfast spots give you one bite of eggs. Not MoMo's the portions are on point, AND EVERYTHING WAS GOOD!!!

Came here as a recommendation from a coworker and it wasn't lying!!! Small quaint little place with super friendly staff and amazing food. Wasn't sure what to order and the waitress suggested the CJ Anderson Special. It comes with a green sauce / salsa.... Make sure you pour it over everything thing. So yummy. A definite place to come back to.

Chicken and waffle (extra waffle for $13.99)

This review is solely on the food because I had used doordash to have it delivered. The prices are from the doordash app so not sure if it was hiked up. We ordered: Chicken and waffle: came with one very dense and filling waffle- flavor was ok. The chicken was delicious. Love the seasoning and breading they use which is similar to their country potatoes. $28.50 Pancake combo with bacon: pancake was yummy and better than the waffle. Came with 3 pancakes, 4 thick slices of bacon cooked to perfection, and eggs. $20.00 California omelet: bacon with onion, pepper, cheese and avocado. Came with deliciously spiced potatoes. Good size serving and very cheesy! Loved how I was able to order with a side of pancakes- they gave me 3! $23.49 Order of waffle: I regretted ordering this because everyone preferred the pancakes. It was really dense and dry. $13.99 The bill on doordash for these 4 items before tax, fees, charges, and dasher tip was $85.98. A little more expensive than some breakfast spots but the huge portions and the flavor was definitely worth it. There were 4 of us and we were only able to finish half the food.

Is Momo's still in business? We have gone 5 times in the last few months for breakfast and they are never open?

We open at 9:30 close on Sunday days

That is Momo's better than Gracies to eat?

I like Momo's more because they are fast and generous with portions. Tasty food If you like Mexican American you will like the foods. It is very small inside though. If you are big it will be tight.

Anybody know why momo's is closed? There's no signage indicating why they are closed. Stopped by on 6/7 @ 1:30pm.

They closed yesterday so that they could attend family graduations.

There is a dedicated parking lot, tight but can hold a decent amount of cars. There is street parking as well, not metered - that is where I parked. The hostess was extremely friendly and attentive, checking in on us several times after ordering to notify of the food's ETA as well as refilling drinks and seeing if we needed anything. The dining area has approximately ten booths in total and became quite crowded around 12:30p. Our meals arrived at different times, items to eat meal arrived sparsely as well. We ordered around 11:30a, there were two other parties present. We were able to order based on our dietary needs/wants as the menu offered quite a diverse array. The crab omelette (known as The California Omelette on the menu) is 1/4 lb of fresh crab served either hot or cold enclosed in three eggs along with avocado and Monterey Jack cheese. For $26.35 the omelette left much to be desired, especially in flavor and seasoning. Nothing complimented or even enhanced the presence of the crab in any way. The remaining party at the table said they enjoy their meal - including a blueberry waffle, toast and eggs with bacon and a double cheeseburger with fries. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to gather, this cafe is certainly an option to consider. It was easy to speak and hear each other with ample privacy and not a lot of traffic - if any.

My favorite lunch order is the Chicken Caesar Wrap - perfect ratio of chicken, lettuce, cheese, dressing, and croutons. The wrap is always well constructed and never falls apart mid-consumption. When I moved away from Vallejo, I thought about this wrap often. For dinner, the wings are always a solid choice - korean bbq, bbq, buffalo - all equally good. The wings are a good size, an even mix of drums and flats, the chicken is always moist and the sauce ratio is perfect. Best wings in Solano County. The M.I.B.C. The onion rings were good too, although I wish they used the same batter as the fish. The food wasn't served quite as hot as I would have preferred, and they were pretty conservative with the condiments. That may be intentional given the location and the likelihood of non-customers helping themselves if everything was left on the tables. I asked whether the beets in the beet salad were freshly roasted or canned, and I was told they were fresh, so I ordered it. It was good, but something wasn't quite as fresh as I expected. It may have been the walnuts--I think they would have benefited from being toasted--or perhaps another ingredient. I'm very particular when it comes to beet salads. I also ordered the crab and artichoke melt, and this was the star of the meal. It was absolutely divine. Rich, buttery crab and melted cheese layered on thinly sliced, perfectly toasted ciabatta--it was pure comfort food. I was surprisingly full after just two bites, partly because the portions are generous and I'd already made a dent in the beet salad. I skipped drinks this visit, but I'll definitely be back to check out the rotating taps and wine selection. The staff were laid-back, incredibly friendly, and genuinely helpful. The setting is one of the restaurant's biggest draws. The outdoor patio offers a beautiful bird's-eye view of the ferries arriving at Mare Island, making it the perfect place to linger over a meal. Inside, there's a large, inviting bar where it's easy to strike up a conversation with another guest, or you can grab one of the window seats and simply enjoy the waterfront views. I'll definitely be back.
