Since I've watched The Bear, a show that takes place at an Italian restaurant in Chicago, I've been curious to try out Chicago-style food (the series just ended after five seasons, but it's a must-watch if you haven't seen it yet), and Chicago's Best immediately popped into my head. We walked in and look at the menu. We were the only customers inside and only two people were working there, both of them running the kitchen. Once we walked in, one of them came out front to help us with our order. I ordered their Chicago Big Baby burger, which came with cheese, chili, grilled onions, and sport peppers on the inside, plus an additional sport peppers and pickles on the side. My LTP ordered their Corned Beef - Original Big Beef that falls under their "favorites" category on their menu. He got this on white bread with mustard and both food items came with fries on the side. After our food was ready, we took it back to the house. The smell of the food during the drive back was absolutely wonderful and we couldn't wait to consume it when we got back. I think the Chicago Big Baby was one of the best burgers I've had in my life, with the chili being one of the most unique ingredients inside. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly as well. The sport peppers, however, were a little too spicy for my taste. My LTP enjoyed his sandwich and it was literally packed with corn beef inside. Some of it ended up spilling out of the bread. If this is Chicago's Best in Las Vegas, this is it.

The tip screen is aggressive, and I selected $0 because my company does not allow tips to be charged to the company card. After I selected no tip, the transaction somehow glitched and I was asked to run it again. I selected $0 again. After that, the employee started mean-mugging me like I had done something wrong. I actually had a couple dollars in cash and could have tipped, but after the attitude, absolutely not. A tip is optional, not an obligation. The location itself needs some attention too. There was no air conditioning and it was HOT as hell in there. The restroom signage needs to be fixed because nobody can tell that the first door is the restroom. And please get rid of the crime-scene-looking tape at the end of the hallway. If you don't want customers walking farther down the hall, invest in an actual divider, stanchion, or barrier. The little taped-off setup looks tacky as hell. Food: fries were good, chili dog was okay. Customer experience and atmosphere? Y'all got some work to do. It was wrapped loose as if they wanted to give it the illusion of being huge. It was skimpy. It wasn't even filled to the edge of the bread. Was it a bad day? I don't know I felt very disappointed and short changed cause I've usually made the order into 2 meals. I ate the whole thing. While she was setting up and taking our order she chatted with us and gave us some history. She told us she also baked cakes and brownies. We ordered 2 Chicago dogs and a frozen lemonade- which she said is from Rhode Island. Our hot dogs came with our name wrote ontop with mustard. Denise thanked us for stopping by and said as her first customer of the day, she gave us a free mini cake and brownie. This is a food truck definitely worth visiting.
