We wanted to try different coffee places while visiting Seattle. They have good coffee, the service is great.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Seattle! The baristas are awesome, and the coffee is great. There is limited seating outside, but great to take to go!

After spending some time at Pike Place, my friend and I were in the mood for coffee. We did a bit of research and decided to check out Monorail Espresso. This location is more of a stand with no interior, making it a nice grab-and-go spot. COLD BREW (12 OZ) - 4.75 It was strong but had lasting, bitter after taste that made me think it was over-steeped. Unfortunately, I didn't like the drink and didn't finish it. My friend got the hazelnut latte and couldn't taste much hazelnut flavor initially and thought the espresso was bitter. Overall, seemed like the coffee was a miss for both of us this time around.

This spot was located near our hotel so I wanted to give it a try! I saw from one of the photos on Yelp that there was this burnt creme latte. I asked the worker what that was and I forgot exactly but she said it was a combination of vanilla, hazelnut and I think something else. It sounded good so I ordered it. My drink was good, nothing amazing but like a regular latte. I liked how it had a nice color to it (not too milky or light). My drink came out fast and I noticed the line got long afterwards. So it's definitely a popular place that is worth to check out!

Coffee: 5/5 great quality coffee. In a busy city location. Price is on the more affordable side. The coffee aroma was deep and definitely delicious. Service: the shop is a tiny that's located in a big building. You mostly have to do to go, since there are only 2-3 tables outside, which is right beside the roads. There were locals and many tourists waiting in line, but it took very short! Would definitely come back. Ambiance: busy city setting. Love the vibe

Great coffee window (no seating, no inside) with solid Seattle coffee. They know what they're doing!! Good mocha, not too sweet. Perfect cappuccino- hit the spot!

When I was attending a convention at the Summit building of the convention center, I went to Monorail a few times. Seattle is supposed to have good coffee, but the coffee at my hotel was meh, and I needed a fix. I found the service to be always fast and friendly. There would occasionally be a line, but they would move through it really quickly. Everything was made to order. My friend was sad they don't have drip coffee, but since I prefer mine to be freshly made, it was great. I tried a cortado, an oat milk latte, and an iced oat milk latte, and all three were really good. I didn't hang out in front but they do have some tables nearby.

This is a great, quick coffee spot in Downtown Seattle, and honestly it was the best tasting coffee throughout our trip in Seattle. FYI - there's no indoor seating--t's really just a small booth/kiosk with fast service to get you back on your way. There is some outdoor seating too for those wanting to linger a bit that we saw people using as well. We tried the lavender latte here, and it was really good! It was our first time having a lavender latte, and we were amazed at how well the floral/earthy flavor blended well with the latte. Plus, the quality of the coffee beans is very noticeable here. They had many other options as well, including teas, small bites, and some fun looking merch. Definitely check out Monorail Espresso if you are in Seattle!

Monorail Coffee gets an instant 5 out of 5!!! The coffee is probably one of the best in downtown Seattle!! It's a small place, but this spot makes a delicious and very tasty coffee!! The temperature of the coffee is perfect....the froth has the perfect micro-bubbles balance and an excellent espresso shot!!! The service is very nice and friendly. I think you're going to love this spot too!!

Good latte! Their foam was so silky and smooth! Not to mention their art was so cute! Their London fog didn't have much flavor but their latte flavors were very good! Try marshmallow if you want something fun! Good and fast service!

Stunning!! I came here 3 days in a row while in Seattle and it was perfect. My first day I went to the window and asked the barista for a recommendation in which he offered the burnt crème latte and I never looked back. Well priced and quick service and never a wait even at peak hours before work and super friendly baristas! Not too mention the flavor of the latte was stunning. Such a cute spot and loved my coffee everyday.

Prior to visiting Seattle, I saw some random Instagram story where this place was listed as someone's favorite coffee spot. I had never heard of this place before but figured it would be worth a visit. It was a surprisingly warm day in Seattle and I was craving an iced americano. This place was a short walk from Pike's Place but well worth it. Excellent americano and priced well when compared to places like Storyville. Definitely a must stop when in the area.

    April W.

Yum! Stumbled across this cute coffee spot while walking through the area. There was a line so I figured whatever they served would be worth the wait. Thus, I stopped by on my way back and grabbed a vanilla latte and service was pleasant and efficient. I quite enjoyed the my drink and hope I have another chance to return during my time in the city.

Vietnamese coffee is typically made with robusta beans, which have higher caffeine and a heavier, almost thick mouthfeel compared to arabica. I ordered their Hanoi Egg coffee and also their Kettle Corn coffee, from the server's recommendations. I found myself noticeably surprised by how there was bittnerness, but it was not too harsh. There were some also some chocolatey undertones in the Egg Hanoi, with the egg pudding. I would have preferred less ice, less egg pudding and more drink. Overall though, it did not take away the flavor for me. As for the vibe, there was Kpop music playing in the background when I visited and multiple tables already occupied from people working on their laptops or sitting down to talk. The aesthetic is minimalist chic - steel tables with that warehouse feel. They do not have pastry options so don't come hungry! I also just visited Vietnam in April where I had lotss of egg coffee so I was really excited to try it back home. For starters, the coffee here has great depth. It's sweet but not overbearingly so. It also has that caramelized note that I usually look for. I'd just say that I wish their egg cream had more flavor. At least in the drink I had, the cream seemed more for texture since it didn't have much flavor by itself. I still enjoyed it though and would definitely get it again. Service: (5/5) Super kind people and I barely had to wait for my order. Other notes: If you're new to Viet coffee, please do not chug it or drink it in one sitting. It is powerful stuff. My matcha latte was pretty good. It had an added earthiness from the brown sugar syrup. Though it wasn't as green as the matcha lattes I'm used to drinking back in SoCal, it wasn't bad! However, I think I would skip the gruyere pull apart pastry next time. I usually don't mind gruyere in savory pastries, but this one was especially greasy.
