I spoke with Damon for the first time on the phone for like 45 minutes and he educated me on the E-bike market and how it works. I stopped in to test ride their Yamaha Cross Core. It was so much fun. I wanted to spend more money and get the other model and Damon told me that it wasn't worth it for additional $1K. Any business owner would've said Yes, buy the expensive one for my margin but he was honest and he literally cared for me. When I purchased the bike, he gave me the run-down thoroughly and gave me a lecture on safety. I loved the shopping experience and with Damon's help, I made the right decision. Very happy. And now, I gained another Father in Damon. Adopt me.

Buyer Beware - Poor Warranty Service from Greenpath Electric Bikes and Magicycle…read more Review: I purchased a Magicycle Deer Step-Over electric bike from Greenpath Electric Bikes (Brooklyn, NY) in June 2024. Less than a year later, the battery and display completely failed. Despite the bike being under full manufacturer warranty, I have been stuck for weeks in endless delays, conflicting information, and finger-pointing between Greenpath and Magicycle. Magicycle demanded shipping fees that were never disclosed at purchase and dismissed the serious battery issue without proper testing. Greenpath refused to intervene to resolve the situation and ultimately informed me that they would no longer service my bike -- despite selling me the product with a warranty. Throughout this process, Greenpath was unprofessional, slow to respond, and offered no loaner bike or real support while I was left without transportation to work. I gave them every opportunity to correct the situation privately. Their final communication confirmed that they have no intention of standing behind the products they sell. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly recommend avoiding both Greenpath Electric Bikes and Magicycle.

They told me it wasn't good any more then they sold me a rim that apon closer inspection was no new it was just a responded rim with a paint job. The fix old parts respray them and label as new. I also took an arrow 10 battery their once and they told me it wasn't good anymore. I did not leave my battery with them I took the battery home and held the battery for 2 years until one day I decided to take the battery to another bike shop for review. Guess what? All the battery needed was a fuse change. Be very careful with this company.

Eventually, it arrives and is installed at a local ebike store. I found numerous cosmetic issues with the bike . I then go to charge battery and find that they sent an old style charger, not the one that the manufacturer shipped with the bike to them. I went out and purchased one locally and now and even though they promised to reimburse me, they are not answering my emails. If you decide to buy from them, only buy if you can test ride and inspect. Do not purchase if it has to be shipped. Buyer beware.

The only one open until 6 PM was Trek Bicycle in Cobble Hill, so I power-walked my bike there like I was in the Tour de France: Flat Tire Edition. I rolled up at exactly 6PM door still open and slipped inside hoping for a quick top-off with the pump. The gentleman who helped me was incredibly friendly and took a look at my wheel right away. Turns out, it wasn't just low on air, my front tire and tube were completely shot, riddled with holes. Honestly, after 13 years of daily riding in all conditions: rain, snow, potholes, and the occasional broken glass buffet, I can't say I was shocked. I've been airing them up pretty regularly this past year, which probably should've been my sign. What really surprised me was that I had just had a full tune-up and inspection at my regular bike shop two days prior, and no one mentioned that my tires were basically waving a white flag. Even though it was closing time, they kindly replaced my tires efficiently and professionally, staying past 6 PM to make sure I had a safe ride home. That level of customer service is rare and truly appreciated. Exceptional service, knowledgeable staff, and they saved me from walking my bike home. Smoothest ride in forever! I'll definitely be considering Trek for my next tune-up, my bike clearly approves of the upgrade! ‍

So I went down to The Bike Shop on Court Street for a second opinion, old school place across from Court Street Grocers, and they told me all it needed was some oil. They charged me $25 and it was ready in an hour. It works perfectly now. BEWARE OF TREK.
