Went here on a Sunday during brunch time. But there is brunch, lunch, and full menu options! I went for the steak and eggs, and I was surprised on how large my steak was, it was cooked perfectly. Also everyone at the table received the little red peppers on their plate and they are so good definitely try them. Just a cute quirky thing to mention. Everyone at my table really enjoyed their meals! The service was fast and friendly.

Ambience service and good A+. Lovely private party section available, decent parking, cozy. Good place to meet up.

Hubby and I visited for the 2nd time 1/29/2025 at apx 5:15 pm. We sat at the bar as we only wanted a snack and a beverage. Jess promptly greeted us and took our drink order. The restaurant is surprisingly much bigger than it appears from the road. It was very clean with families, bar patrons, and couples mingled in. Jess recommended two amazing appetizers, cheddar potato kegs and chicken dumplings. Omg! Both are so tasty and delicious. The potato kegs are light and fluffy, crazy good. The sauce for them is very mild. We recommend an added sauce with a bit of heat added. We also met a regular, Bryan who was very helpful and one of the owners who was very friendly and printed us the menu for Super Bowl Sunday. Check the website for more info on superbowl. Great place, lots of tv's for sports lovers.

Ok wow! We unintentionally came here for brunch at 1 on Sunday. We heard there was a steak deal on Sundays so we planned on that but everything on the brunch menu sounded awesome and it was too early for the steak dinner. Didn't plan on eating that type of food but changed our mind either way. I started off with a cappuccino and it was delicious. There were 6 of us, 3 of us got the steak and eggs special. My mom got the fish and chips from the regular menu and my husband got a crispy chicken sandy from the regular menu too. Everyone enjoyed their food a lot! I got the chicken and waffles from the brunch menu and it was perfect!! It was boneless chicken, easy to eat and so flavorful. Best chicken and waffles spin I've had! I want it again :) service was great, ambiance cute! There was a private party in a room to the side which looked like a great idea and I'd inquire about that in the future! I loved Monroe social 6 years ago and I loved it yesterday soo I obviously need to make it there more often. Highly recommend!

We came here on a Saturday afternoon and they had a brunch and lunch menu. We ended up picking from both. They had a special omelette that was very good. The Social salad was a great choice and the kids had the Philly cheesesteaks. Free warm bread is offered to start. The meals were all presented well and the food was good. The fries were very tasty. Ambiance is nice with friendly staff, good music in the background-just loud enough to hear but not overbearing-and a good looking interior.

Always a solid meal to be had at monroe social. Lovely wait staff who are patient with my 3 kids, good drinks and fantastic food. We went tonight and there's all day happy hour and the apps were $3.00 off! Score! We ordered so many - and I was able to use it as my meal. Everyone else at the table ordered an actual meal and everything went (we really like food and we're hungry). My top choices were the steamed Buffalo chicken meatballs and the chicken dumplings but my favorite was the coconut shrimp. I didn't expect them to be nearly as delicious as they were. My burrata salad with prosciutto and tomato was good- not the beat burrata I have ever had (actually was more like mozzarella) but still good. My daughter's shrimp tacos were incredible and my son loved his chicken sliders. They have daily specials/deals, so it's definitely good to look into it.

Food wasn't bad but could have been better. The atmosphere is nice and the service was good. Will probably go back and try something else.

The food is good but not amazing. The restaurant itself is very small and the noise from the bar can be very loud. Kind of a limited menu.

My second time dining at 29 Markle Court yesterday! When…read morefirst I was introduced to this restaurant: an impromptu visit with a group, and we shared small plates, family style. It was delicious! This time, I reserved a table for four, including guests who were up to an adventurous evening. The place was hopping! A Friday evening fun atmosphere and a beautiful bar that reminded me of a Paris restaurant. We were seated at a great table with banquettes in a corner of the front dining room. Our waitperson was excellent- energetic, informed of the menu, friendly & interactive, I believe her name was Shamira. We received great recommendations for dishes on the menu accommodating certain preferences. Following Cocktails - from the usual order of Scotch, to the " Crimson" spicy, indeed. The "Wanderer" imbiber said she could sip them all night. I, being mostly just a wine drinker, ordered from the "unusual wines" - a delicious white wine from Languedoc named "Picpoul De Pinet, Feline Jourdan", which paired very well with both courses. Based on my enthusiasm we all shared a bottle with our Main Course! Total alignment. We shared Caesar salads, which were excellent. Everyone enjoyed their selection of a main course: Halibut with corn risotto, Shrimp & Grits with spicy red sauce (just right spicy), My dish was Mussels in ginger & lemongrass red Curry, paired with grilled bread for soaking up that sauce, Yum!; a Whole Red Snapper with Mole sauce for my husband - most adventurous diner of the evening! We stretched ourselves to order two desserts: Crème Brûlée and Goat Cheesecake! Sublime. On departing the Restaurant, we were thanked for dining by the Proprietor, Wesley. We had an inspiring conversation about Bridgeport's future. A memorable evening.

This place deserves way more attention than it gets. Tucked in downtown Bridgeport with easy street…read moreand garage parking nearby, 29 Markle Court walks in with serious style -- the decor is chic, the atmosphere is warm and cool at the same time, and it genuinely feels like somewhere you'd expect to find in a much bigger city. Drinks first: my slightly dirty martini was made exactly right. My friend went with cosmo and it was equally on point. Whoever is behind that bar has their act together. Then the food happened. We started with grilled bread with an EVOO, agave, and chile dip -- sounds simple, ate like a statement. The char on the bread, the heat and sweetness of that dip. Good sign of things to come. Main event: shrimp and grits. Guinea flint grits, spicy red sauce, sage, stock. I don't say this lightly -- this is one of the best things I've eaten in a long time. The grits were creamy and rich, the sauce had real depth and heat, and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. The whole bowl just worked on every level. Dessert: goat cheesecake with pistachio dust and berry compote. Tangy, creamy, not too sweet, and that pistachio dust on top was a perfect finish. We cleared the plate.
