My favorite food is pizza and this place is fantastic. The pizza is super delicious. It's everything a pizza should be. My boyfriend who even tends to get sick from having red sauce, had no issues eating here. I'm blown away! This has become our go to pizza place now. The delivery is super efficient too. This is crazy!!!! Never had good from here but heard it was good so I gave it a shot. Ordered on postmates. My order was a BBQ chicken pizza, BBQ sauce on the side, onions only on half. Breadsticks and a garden salad. When my order arrived there was no salad to be found anywhere. There was BBQ sauce and red onions over all of the pizza and no ranch like wtf did they even read the order? It's only 830 so I'm like cool I'll call and get a new order right? Nope, instantly get put on hold for 10 minutes and then get hung up on. Try to call back 3 times, hung up on each time and then they turn the phone system off at 845!!! Never again dude!!! read more

I've been coming here for years and never had issues, tonight part of my order was the cinnamon knots. Usually these are awesome never had any issues, when I finally get to enjoy my cinnamon knots it was just the bread. Needless to say I was very disappointed, so I drove down there (literally around the block) hoping they would redo em or give me a refund. When I walked in and let them know what happened one guy got em and literally just added cinnamon to them, not the butter or anything else, and the other guy gave me a that type of look like why is this guy complaining (I think he was the "cook"). Needless to say I was very unimpressed with this type of service. I can understand it was close to closing which in this case he should have just provided the refund or something. I just hope the management team teaches their staff a little more customer service. read more

This our Go-to pizza place when we need LOTS of GOOD pizza. My personal favorite is the pastrami pizza with mustard, pickles, and pastrami, but anything I've had here is delicious. Also - you are getting MONSTER sized pizza when you order the big sizes (though they have all kinds of normal/small sizes available). They cut the big pizzas into squares, too, which is great for parties and sharing. Check out their menu and have a little fun with their variety! The ingredients are fresh enough. How have I never ordered from here before? I've lived in Covina for 10 years and have seen ads for Monstrous Pizza but never gave them a chance until we ordered for delivery today. We ordered a 12" pastrami pizza and 5-piece mango habanero wings. Although the pizza box was a little greasy, the pizza did not taste greasy or have any grease pools. The mix of pastrami, pickles, cheese, light mustard, and their dough was an incredible array of flavors. If you like pastrami sandwiches you'll enjoy this pizza. I usually do not eat the crust but I loved their crust-crispy on the outside, tasty, airy, and chewy on the inside. Now the wings...omg they were so delicious and juicy. The habanero and mango sauce was a sweet and spicy treat generously slathered on thick thoroughly cooked, juicy chicken wings. I'm used to most places offering 6-piece over 5-piece chicken wings, however, the wings were so much thicker and meatier than most other pizza places that we didn't miss the extra wing. Next time I'm going to try their "the works" pizza. I miss the old "everything pizza" from Costco and I'm sure the Monstrous "The Works pizza" will be even better. The bourbon molasses wings also sound incredible so those are also on my list. Give this place a try. Decently priced and flavorful! read more

I'm giving them a full five stars because of their reliability, quick & consistent service, prices, and taste/quality of ingredients. My family and I have ordered pizza here countless times over the years as it's literally less than a mile from my house and I know that I'm gonna get a good pie every time. Their website is super easy to order from and I'm always getting coupons from the loyalty program in my email. There are hella topping, sauce, crust and cheese options and it makes ordering fun (even though I get my usual pepperoni & jalapeño with garlic butter crust like every time.) The pizza is delicious the next day too, even in the microwave. It can get pretty greasy sometimes but overall it's 10x better than any of the typical pizza chains. I'll continue to order here as long as it's around. Also while I'm here I'm gonna shamelessly suggest to those reading to check out Rocky's New York Pizza in Glendora if you're looking for a top notch pizza place in the area and want to support a small business. How can you mess up an order for the "works" pizza and only put sausages on it!! And ordered it on a Super Bowl game. Not good at all. TSK TSK TSK. Reasons why I don't do delivery ever, but you knew you couldn't leave during super bowl game?!! It may be busy time but the more you want to give the customers their orders right. So the more they remember to reorder again from same place. When you don't get orders right, it's not a good thing because customers remember. I avoided Pizza Hut or Dominos thinking to try something different and be wowed but should have stuck with the pros. The Hawaiian pizza had too much BBQ sauce on it, which made it runny and saltier. System said it would be ready by 6pm and sure enough when I got there, the pizzas were being boxed up - hot and fresh. The cashier was very nice and polite - even gave me some plates, cheese and pepper packets! Only thing they need to do to get this Pizza like New York style is the Pizza slices need to be way thinner and crispy at the very bottom and soft on the inside at the same time. The Pizza needs a higher back as well giving the back of the Pizza a well rounded airy texture. If they took my adivce me being from New York their Monstrous Pizza would be number one in town. Monstrous Pizza is located on the NW corner of Azusa and San Bernardino Aves, next to the 99 cent store; it's a hard to see from the street. This is a "to-go" location, so be aware when ordering. Ordered a Pepperoni Supreme and a Pastrami Pizza--they have coupons on their website so be aware of that as well. Customer service was fine when I went to pick up the pizza (they do deliver as well), no problems at all, and so on to the food---- Pepperoni Supreme Pizza. 3.5 stars. This pizza had double pepperoni ( a fav of ours) and the normal fixings. It tasted like a pizza hut pizza but nowhere as greasy, it was really good. I would get this pizza again, but I know of places ( Big Rob's) that makes a better pepperoni pizza. Pastrami Pizza 100 stars This pizza was the reason why I tried out this pizzeria, and WOW WOW WOW. I will say if you are sensitive to salt, you might find this salty, but I didn't. They used a mustard sauce instead of pizza sauce, layered on the pastrami and served pickles on the side to eat with the pizza. Like the menu says, it's like eating an open faced sandwich!!!! See my picture; it was really really good and worth eating again. I am going to go back soon just for that pizza! And what I really liked is that it wasn't fatty pastrami, it was very lean, and they used plenty of it. We used a special, 2 14 inch pizza for $23, which was plenty of food for 6 people to eat. They have a $5.00 special going on, but we decided to try their special Hawaiian pizza with the ham, chicken and pineapple in BBQ sauce. It seems they were a little skimpy on the ham and chicken, but the syrup styled BBQ sauce overwhelmed the pizza. The crust was kind of dry and thin.
