I read the reviews on several companies and was pleased with what I read about Churchwell. I got two different estimates and both companies were well represented by their company employees. Ultimately, I chose Churchwell both for the $2000 savings but also because they represent a home grown family company, which I like. The product and warranty were essentially the same though the turn around a few days different. There was no bother or disruption of life. They did the trenchless method for pipe replacement and epoxy liner for under slab repair. Very courteous and professional. Of course I can't report for future but they have warrantied for 5 years maintenance with 50 year life expectancy. They have been in business for almost 30 years. I have had my vehicle serviced by Mavis in the past thanks to Chasin and Mitch. They made the experience smooth and easy they are not the reason for the 2 star review. AGAIN THE WORKERS ARE NOT THE REASON FOR THE BAD REVIEW. I have read so many reviews that are hidden in their multitude of them but they are all stating the same or similar thing. Yes some of their mechanics don't give a f because they aren't valued some actually do care. They are taught "policy" when a real mechanic would know how to keep a car safe. I was a higher risk and ended up hemorrhaging and having to call 911 for borderline shock in which I almost died if he wasn't with me. As a company, there is a professional way to handle matters like this. One of them, not being that it isn't a valid reason. Alex is not a good manager and does not value his employees. They are narcissistic and manipulative towards everyone beneath them. They will say something completely uncalled for and then when you bring it to their attention they will (what's referred to in romantic relationships as) "love bombing". Even after hearing the conversations with Alex personally and my husband, and the google reviews you see when searching his name... I have come to an understanding of who he is as a person and none of those qualities qualify him as a manager. We had been in communication with him and provided the pictures (attached to this review). If Mavis has past employment information, please contact my fiancé Tristan LaFuze. Yes, minor scratches that Collision Center caused were buffed out. The major deep scratches on my door that CC caused were not buffed out because the shop scratched too deep. It was Collision Center choice to not replace the roof of my car and Collision Center choice to not repair the damage to my door that occurred at their shop.
