I arrived at my appointment time and waited a few minutes for my advisor, Nicholas. Nicholas was awesome - very welcoming, warm and personable and really good at his job. I informed him of a couple of other issues I was having other than needing the routine service and he made sure they were addressed. I also informed him of the time I needed to be picked up that afternoon and he arranged that perfectly. The "shuttle" driver was also very friendly and drove with care. I took it to MB in Princeton and said it was a leaky exhaust valve. Apparently some of these engines have this problem and Mercedes has extended the warranty on them to 150K miles. Instead of being a disaster the whole thing was a great experience. Even though the car had to have a new cylinder head they fixed it in a couple of days and there was no charge at all. Initially when I found out it was serious I thought it was bad but Mercedes demonstrated that they stand behind their cars. It only had 65K miles and has been well taken care of. The Princeton people were very good about it too. Car companies always send out customer satisfaction surveys when you first get a car but the real test is when there is trouble. I can say that MB passed the final with me. We really like the car, it is impressive and drives very well.
