i made an appointment online for a haircut with lilian! She was awesome! I came up for a refresh for layers and a straight bang! she killed the layers they look super shaggy and way more intense! It was such a great experience and everyone had a nice cool vibe and the place was really chill and had a nice vibe too very punk and halloweenie! Great barbershop in the Riverside area. Lots of cool decor and to look at, along with the option to buy some vinyl records. Friendly staff and very cool owner. Definitely one of the only female owned barbershops that I know of! Just in case you don't know there is a back parking lot instead of the front street parking lot used a lot by the laundry mat. I am so glad Monty's popped up on my Instagram! After following them on IG for a month, I called to see if they had time for walk ins on Wednesday, 12/20. They gave me a time to come in. They cut my husband's hair and my two boys, ages 8&4. My oldest has very thick hair and a lot of it. I have never been happy with his haircuts. But that changed after Sal worked his magic. I needed a haircut badly! A friend recommend me to the shop so I gave it a shot. Iliana helped me out today, I told her what I needed and the issue I was having with my hair and she was able to fix the issue and explain it to me. I got a mid fade with a maintenance trim on top for a comb over. She did a great job! If you're on the alternative side of things you'll love just being in the shop, and if you're into collecting records they've also got a collection for you to browse and even buy!
