Be cautious letting the service department here service your vehicles! The techs are severely underpaid & they take it out on the vehicle you depend on! I had a Huge safety concern, my truck had a misfire and was misdiagnosed, they replaced transmission for the fun of it and motor mounts when all it needed was a ignition coil pack, they left my steering shaft bolt loose in the process and left lots of parts off and loose trans bolts, low ATF fluid in a new trans! 3 trips back to back right after getting it back! Then My wife's suv was serviced a basic thermostat change, and the tech purposely loosened a coolant line on the head in hopes we will go back for another repair. Car overheated a mile after getting back from them! Keep in mind you're paying $175hr labor! You expect top notch service correct? No sir, this isn't a GM dealer! It's a family owned and operated at the lowest cost possible! This Means hire young jiffy lube techs with minimum experience to perform major repairs on your vehicles! I called and spoke with the service manager and to make their 34 day and $7500 mistake better he offered a single $89 oil change! No thanks! I do not want your guys touching my vehicles! read more

I am writing in discontent and frustration about the service I received at your shop today. I called in and asked about the recalls of my truck and how long it would take. The service person told me 1 1/2 hours. I dropped off the truck right before 11am and it's almost 3 hours in. My issue is why not be more transparent and honest about the time frame? By the time I leave, it will be 4-5 hours here. If they had advised me it would take this long I would've chosen another day that works best for me. Please train your staff to be more knowledgeable and transparent about the process. Again, my issue was that I was given a totally incorrect time frame. Purchasing my vehicle at Monument Chevrolet in Pasadena has been my worse experience purchasing a vehicle. I have purchased 5 vehicles so far from other dealers and none of them have been as frustrating as working with this dealer. The "miscommunication" or bait and switch tactics seems to be their way of handling business. We were looking for a 2021 or newer Tahoe and found one at this dealership. Sarah was the salesman we worked with. Looking at the Tahoe, we knew it was used and had a couple cosmetic issues. We also noticed the two tires in the back were lacking tread. Sarah said not to worry that the dealership could replace them if we ended up purchasing the vehicle. We elected to test drive the vehicle and then went to run numbers. I was trading in my previous vehicle, and they valued the vehicle. I had two other dealerships value my vehicle and the numbers that Monument came back with were significantly lower than the two other dealerships were willing to offer. We went back and forth, and Monument then said they wouldn't come up on their offer and recommended I go take the other offers. Seemed to be the only honest thing they said throughout the process. I opted to take the advice and left the deal. We live up in The Woodlands, so we drove all the way home. About two hours after leaving and making it home, Sarah reached out via text message and said that after talking with her manager, they would come up on the trade value. I was still interested if they would replace the back two tires as well. I clearly texted Sarah the terms I was wanting to move forward; the term was they granted my requested trade price and replaced the two tires. Sarah's response in text message was "Yes Sir Absolutely". We then drove an hour back to the dealership. We went through the process of running numbers again, running my credit, and moving forward with the sale. Then Sarah came back and said after talking with her manager, they were only going to replace the one tire. This led me to believe that Sarah was making promises that she couldn't keep. Overpromising and under delivering. Gilbert, their finance guy, was great though. He went over the top to make things work on the finance side with the credit unions. I reached out to Sarah a few times with no response regarding the sticker. I had to reach out to other people at the dealership just for Sarah to call me. When I was finally able to speak with her, I asked what the status of the registration sticker was. Sarah informed me that the sticker had been in and she was sorry that no one contacted me to tell me. I asked her then again if it would be an issue to get the tire then too. Sarah said nope, not at all both will be ready. She directed me to Service Department for the sticker and the parts department for the tire. When I got their yesterday, I went into the Service Department, and they did not have the sticker. They had to make several phone calls just to find the sticker. Some gentleman from the dealership was able to get the sticker and bring me it. Per him, the sticker was just delivered that morning and they had not been able to process it internally, so he was not sure how Sarah knew that it was there four days prior to yesterday. Then I went to the Parts Department and again no record of a tire being ready for me. I then had to talk with one of the Sales Department managers. That gentleman went and magically produced a tire for me. The tire given to me does not match the tires I have on the Tahoe currently. At this point, I was not going to argue with the dealership. I am just glad I no longer have any pending business with this dealership. I strongly recommend anyone looking to do business with a dealership and purchase a vehicle, look elsewhere or good luck! read more

I purchased a 2022 Ram Pickup Truct Laramie, which was decked out. I was very excited to get a great deal. We negotiated and agreed that I would receive a new MOPAR Windshield where they would call me and schedule to have it done on my schedule and location. Since purchase I have called and talked with Melissa Tobias at least a dozen times asking when the windshield will be replaced. She keeps telling me they will call, but they have not. She can't tell me what company it will be or give me a contact name or number. What can I do to get my windshield? I have an ez tag sticker and my registration that I want to add to the windshield but I am waiting for the replacement. Looking for dealership that honors GM Supplier Discount, a benefit through my employer, to minimize the hassle of negotiating prices. Received calls and texts from Michael, salesman, many times over the last week and half. I stated how busy I am and just want the price I get if they honor GM supplier discount and Costco member discount. He checked into it with his managers, and they informed him that they do honor GM supplier discount. This was December 22, 2023. I Called today and he asked I come in to discuss everything. I said I do not want to waste their time or my time coming up there without knowing the price up front. I provided the code they needed, and they decided not to accept or honor the discount. This is after salesman called again yesterday asking if I'm able to come in. What a waste of my time. Literally hours spent over a week for them to back out of their word. took my tahoe for service (spark plug misfire) to monument chev - 3940 pasadena freeway - pasadena, tx on 5-12-21 - got it back from monument on 5-21-21. while driving the "next day" i noticed the check engine light came on and then the red light oil lamp above the check engine light. i had already driven 120 miles. i checked oil stick - no freaking motor oil - i needed documentation because this was not good - i went to jiffy lube - i was informed that there was no oil to drain. my driveway where i park my tahoe has no oil spots - tahoe running very rough and losing power when i accelerate - i have reached out to monument and they dont even have a loaner to provide based on their negligence - not even a "i'm sorry" or how can we resolve this incompetence. what is more damaging is that jiffy lube "discovered" that i needed "spark plug replacement." question that must be asked - did monument do the work or just another deceptive manner to defraud the consumer by stating they did the work. We had a pleasant initial visit at the Dealership, we were advised we should put a deposit down on a car that was "supposed" to be delivered on Monday to hold it and if we didn't like the vehicle the deposit would be returned back to us no questions asked. The vehicle didn't arrive on Monday, or Tuesday, or Wednesday, or Thursday....so we bought another vehicle on Thursday evening from another dealership. On Friday the salesman called and advised that the vehicle had finally arrived at which point we advised we already purchased another vehicle and that we would need the deposit returned to us. Ten days later still no returned deposit and the salesman will no longer take our calls or return our voicemails. I highly recommend NOT using this dealership as they do not stand behind their word, might have been a blessing in disguise that the vehicle didn't arrive as advised as I can only image the how bad the service after the sell would have been. read more

Please avoid this shop! I wish I would've read the reviews before choosing them for my auto repairs. A week after picking up the vehicle my driver side front door started acting up, called and Frank said to bring it in for a look up, He was very sarcastic and said he couldn't fix it because jeeps were cheap" I didn't find that funny at all. He then said that the damage was on the back door only and they hadn't touch the front door, I have pictures of the damages and the front door had a scratch that required repairs. He took the vehicle to the back and did a quick fix and said he had fixed it but couldn't guarantee it wouldn't happen again. I left and drove the car for a few days and the problem started again. Went back and spoke to him again, repeated his favorite joke about Jeeps being cheap made.. this time he said the problem couldn't be a result from the accident and all they did was take the mirror down and worked on the door panel and the door strip moving was being caused by me rolling the window up and down. I spoke to the manager and complained about her employee saying Jeeps were a piece of s*** and she apologized and tried to solve the issue. Frank took my car to the back one more time and "fixed " the door strip with some glue and of course the problem continued. I paid $1,000.00 for a very lousy job. read more

3-4 month old experience below. I took another vehicle to them in December to give them another chance as I have used them for over 15 years for body repairs. Granted we have had delays on insurance, but again we had to point out multiple incomplete repairs and now again are waiting on our vehicle. I spoke to the body shop manager, and he was very arrogant and did not seem concerned about our issues, all he said is I will personally check on it. While we were handling our issues, there were three to four other customers that were having the same types of problems with getting their vehicles. One was the shop had lost a key fob on a brand new vehicle that was brought in, another was there was an ABS light on that was not on before the customer brought it in, and yet another was being given the run around on what they were told buy the shop and what the shop told the insurance. At this point I am telling all of my friends and family not to use them. Be cautious if you use them and make sure you check your vehicle out before paying, signing any documentation or leaving with it. Original review: Body shop use to be great, had alot more problems this time around. Multiple incomplete repairs and dirty hand prints on headliner fabric. Quality has definitely gone down. Very disappointed, will think twice before I return or recommended. Sales and service are a rip off, very over price. Bad customer service from the start. I reached out to them because I was interested in a trade in deal for one of their comercial vehicles and spoke to Lee in the comercial department. Before hand I made sure I told him my credit wasn't that great and that if I couldn't get approved I already had a co-signer ready to help me. So I took my truck in to get appraised but the entire time I was there I felt like the 2 sales men that were doing the appraisal weren't really interested in helping me since my truck is a bit older (2011 crew cab). They supposedly did an appraisal on it which didn't even take 5 minutes and they told me Lee would get back to me with the numbers. One week passed by and no call from Lee or anyone in the sales team. Why? I ask myself and couldn't help to think that they weren't i in my business cause of the value of my trade in and maybe they didn't want to deal with helping someone with a little credit problems. So yep, never got a call back at all ! Taking my business elsewhere where they genuinely don't mind helping people. Update: No need in going back to Monument! Horrible experience. The service manager JD and my technician ESTHER were completely inconsiderate. I brought my vehicle in for an issue with the O2 sensor which fuels the fuel so basically my car would start for MAYBE 10sec, And then turn off. While it was in the shop I requested an oil change and front end alignment as well. I called Esther and asked if my tire monitor system was under warranty because I had it repaired just a year before. She said it was warranted for 2 years but she would need to check with her manager. After 3 DAYS of asking ESTHER if she got ahold of her manager she told me that it's very hard to get ahold of them. I hung up with Esther and called the service department immediately and requested a manager and was immediately put through. Not even 5 minutes after I spoke to the manager she called me back and confirmed it was under warranty. So I went ahead with the repair. Couple days later she called and left a voicemail saying that another tire sensor went out and that is was not warranted so it was going to be around $250. I called back and questioned why there was a second sensor that went out while it was in your care and they said well we don't take the tires off to align it so there's no way it could be our issue. Okay, we'll, I'm still skeptical because I brought my car in with one sensor out and now there's two. Fast forward, I get a notification that my car is ready for pick up. So I go the following day to pick it up, although I never confirmed the 2nd sensor being installed, I said please have a manager call me and make sure that it wasn't your company's problem and it was in fact mine. Never got the call. Just a notice that my cars ready. Show up the next morning. Esther is busy so I ask another technician VERONICA, if this "second sensor" is covered. She reviews my file and says no it is not. So I question again, why did I have one sensor out when I brought it to the shop and now I have two sensors out while it was in your care? Veronica called the manager over; JD. He immediately comes up and says to me you told us that you agreed to the repairs and I have that on recording. I said no I called twice, let's go listen. My first voicemail I was at work so I just said yes repair the one sensor, BUT I called back within 30 seconds because I misheard the message and asked ESTHER again why I am being charged when the second sensor went out in your care. After the manager JD listened to the 2nd call recording where I blatantly said to ESTHER, " Please call me back after your manager checks out the repair so I can confirm it but I will probably do it just call me back with your manager" He looked right at me and said with a condescending smile, "Well you technically gave us the go" DID YOU JUST HEAR THE RECORDING? Obviously not. Had to fight him for the right solution and we got the one tire sensor refunded but MIND YOU I PAID $890.00 for all the other items, front tire sensor, alignment, oil change etc. JD said at the end before we left his office that he would personally not comp our deal if it was up to him but because of the company he did it. Complete trash. This employee needs to be fired IMMEDIATELY. JD will run monument into the ground. That type of attitude in a manager setting is completely unacceptable. I am a very honest and fair person and that reflected in our conversation between JD and I but if he doesn't get any discipline soon then your company will meet its demise. I plan on buying my new car from you... I will not if he is still working there. PLEASE ADVISE AND TAKE ACTION, SUSPENSION OR ANY MEANS NECESSARY. I do not write reviews, ever. This is no joke. Horrible place. My car only has 40,000 miles on it and the engine went out. They were "working" on my car for 4 months and when they said it was fixed, I picked it up and a hour later my engine went out again in the middle of the most dangerous freeway in Houston. I almost got into 4 accidents because I could get out of the middle of the freeway & worst I had my 4 month old son. So I was furious. I called them to report my vehicle and see about getting a reimbursement for the $200 towing fee I had to pay and the service advisor Nick was very freaking rude. Y'all need to fire that guy. If I had transportation that day I would've have pulled up that place and gave him some words. I filed a formal complaint on that dealership with GM corporate and I will never advise anyone to do business with them, totally dissatisfied. Learn professionalism Nick!!!!!!! read more
