Until recently, our experiences were consistently positive. Unfortunately, since the management change, the level of customer service has become unacceptable and declined significantly. I recently spoke directly with the manager Dilai regarding a concern, I expected professionalism, active listening and a willingness to resolve the issue but instead the experience was extremely disappointing. Rather than listening and trying to understand the issue, she repeatedly interrupted and kept repeating the same statements without addressing what I was actually saying. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. The conversation was frustrating, dismissive, and completely unproductive. What made the situation even more concerning was that, despite our long history as customers, the staff seemed unfamiliar with us and were asking basic questions about my daughters that should have already been understood in the context of our relationship with the center. The manager Dilai also promised to call me back, but never followed through. A simple follow-up is a basic expectation of customer service, especially when a manager personally commits to it. Failing to do so only reinforced the feeling that customer concerns are no longer valued. The most disappointing part is that this was not a one-time interaction with a front-desk employee, it was my experience with the manager Dilai herself. Leadership sets the standard for customer service, and based on this experience, that standard has fallen dramatically. Loyal customers are the foundation of any successful business. We deserve to be listened to, treated with respect, and have our concerns acknowledged. Sadly, that was not my experience. I sincerely hope ownership takes a closer look at what is happening under the current management because the difference is noticeable, and not in a positive way.

Had a great experience at Mood and was really happy with the customer service I received. Got a haircut and blow dry. The night after my service, however, I experienced quite a bit of itching and irritation in my scalp, which is still persisting a bit two days later. I'm cautious in noting this; I normally have a dry scalp, but this has never happened to me with any other salon. It may be an allergic reaction to their shampoo, but I was also a little concerned with how close my stylist held the blow dryer to my scalp, which got to be a bit painful a few times. It's either one of those. I'm also a little unsatisfied with the cut I received; while I did just ask for a trim to get rid of the dead ends, I didn't feel like the job was very thorough at the time. Sure enough, I'm still looking at dead and split ends in my hair. Out of respect for this business and its hard-working stylists, I'm leaving 5 stars and I don't regret at all paying the full price plus tip. Unfortunately, until I can determine the cause of the itching, I'm wary of returning. read more

This was my first time to Mood and I will definitely be back. Long story short - my hair was in desperate need of some help after experiencing a toner issue around Christmas. I had some damage and breakage and was not loving my hair - AT ALL. I called the day before and was booked an appointment with the AMAZING CLARICE! Aside from being super sweet, she gave me a haircut that I absolutely love and I have a new love for my hair. She also recommended some good products to help get my hair healthy while letting it grow out. When she says it's okay for me to go back to my blonde, I'll definitely be seeing her to do it. I would 100% recommend Mood on 10th! All the girls were amazing! As soon as I walked I was greeted at the front and given a tour of the space and their services! The salon itself is super chic and cozy and not to mention very clean! Raquel did a consultation with me while she finished up with another client and made me feel super welcome. They asked me water and coffee so many times while my daughter was getting her balayage done. Johny, who did my daughter's balayage is such a great stylist. He listens carefully and delivers.
