I really like the whole assortment of choices- ramen, fries, side dishes, popcorn chicken, the meats were quite plentiful in options. And not too big of sizes so we could try differnt things. Most things were pretty yummy with exception of the corn cheese. Did not like that. Would skip the shrimp. Not deveined and not de-shelled and bland. Overall tasty but pretty salty. We came here for lunch after a recommendation from a fellow co-worker. It is ticked away in a little strip mall. We were the first to arrive at 11:00 am and were seated right away. We had the lunch special and ordered Spicy Brisket, Short Ribs, Spicy Teriyaki Chicken, and Cajun Shrimp. The meats were average and the Ribs did have quite a bit of fat on them. My friend had never been to Korean BBQ. It was a great experience for his first time but I have been to better Korean BBQ places. They also have Ramen Station where you can cook your own noodles. The ambiance was not too noisy but I see how this place can get busy at dinner. Apparently, they have had some mad reviews after this place was posted on Tik Tok. This is one of our family's favorite kbbq spots! If it's a busy night, you check in thru yelp and place yourself in line. You must ask for banchan now, they don't just lay it out all on you. We've been going since they opened, and I'm impressed that service is still great after all these years! I do feel like their banchan and quality has gone downhill a bit though. Layout/atmosphere is great and the servers are very attentive for the most part.. our grills became super burnt a few times before it got changed out though. More upsetting is that we got bamboozled 3 times during our meal lol! I wanted to come here because I saw on social media they had chimichurri (my fav) sauce but nope, not ready for the public yet apparently? Then I ordered a side of kimchi fried rice but it was just white rice with kimchi mixed in (still good) lol. Their ramen noodle options are very misleading.. there's a whole panel/display of a ton of diff types of ramen but literally only 4 to actually choose from; also, there was another display panel with 2 rows of non-meat toppings to add on but only 4 in the actual fridge lol. There was a lot of hype around this place so I had to come try it out. It ended up being a let down. My friend had called about 4 days before to make a reservation for 14 of us, as it is a big group and of course be courteous. We get to the restaurant and there is no host to be seen and the staff are running around keeping up with how busy it is and turning a blind eye to those coming in. There's only an iPad that allows you to join the Yelp waitlist. We see how busy it is and there is obviously no tables "reserved" for 14 at 7pm on a Monday night. We were able to flag down a server and he said that there were no reservations for 14 made despite my friend calling twice to confirm. We instead had to join the hour long waitlist despite making a reservation days before. We stopped by hmart to waste some time and long last, we finally sat down at 8:30. We ordered with an older lady server and she seemed to be rushing us through. We requested white rice multiple times throughout our meal to which she mistook as kimchi fried rice which came out before our white rice. Our meats came out on a robot and were very good quality. Banchan, corn cheese, and fried chicken were skippable. The ambiance was startling with so much going on. It gave moreso a pocha/pub feel with the tvs and loud output. Maybe it was because of the size of the group that we didnt have the best time but regardless, our dining experience should be way better than what we got. read more

Had a great dinner here, definitely was very busy when we went, so I understood the wait, but it wasn't even a long wait. Our food was delivered by robot and the staff were on top of changing the grills very regularly. We did have a little trouble getting attention to the staff for drink refills, but not a huge deal. This is a great place to go for KBBQ but you do have to cook for yourself. I know that is standard, but I still prefer to ones that have someone cook for you, but that is personal preference. First our waitress told us over 6 times that the Veggi person can't eat any of the sides or we would get charged $40 , she can't even taste it . We arrived right when it opened. I was caught up on grilling the meat and eating that I forgot to take pictures. But, I can say, we enjoyed ourselves. This place is all you can eat, huge and unique. Has options to do premium all you can eat, which includes making ramen; self station and more meats and sides to choose from. They have like a convenience store vibe upon entering where you can purchase snacks, ice cream, drinks bagged like you see in the Asian convenience stores, and they also have a mini drink bar where you can order matcha and other cafe drinks. My daughter was in town and wanted to try this place. She doesn't live in the DFW area but one of her friends told her to try this place. So we gave it a try. Walking in there really wasn't much direction given so we kind of just stood there until someone noticed how lost we looked I guess. The place was slightly dark but there was enough light to see. One of the staff members walked us to a table and said he would be back with waters. The place wasn't super packed but it looked like the staff ran it well. It seems everyone had a role to play. The waters came quick along and someone came to turn on the grilling area. We perused the menu and was truly lost so we asked for help and a kind employee explained how the all you can eat works. Once we got that figured out we began to order items and before we knew it, we had a million small plates show up. OMG the table was so full and we sat there looking at one another like what now?! Lol. Finally we figured out to start cooking and enjoying so we did just that. The proteins were all seasoned pretty good but the sides I was so unfamiliar with but did try some of the various items brought out. I really wasn't a fan of the sides. So I stuck to the cooked protein and white rice. Can't go wrong with that. If I had known, I wouldn't have gone. I came to this place because of an IG restaurant influencer I follow, who was probably paid to promote. It did not play out how I expected. Being a first-time 'guest', I walked in confused. The entrance feels like a back door entry with products stacked along the walkway, a dimly lit bar with no bartender, and no host to greet or guide you. Employees rushed by us with no acknowledgment that we were there. There was only one tiny iPad at the end of the walkway to sign into the waiting list, even though we had 'reserved' our time ahead. We awkwardly stood amongst the chaos & inventory hoping that someone would give us direction or call our name. A robot brings you your meat. We learned that we have to cook our own meats on a dimly lit grill in the center of the table. We hoped that we cooked the meat long enough to avoid salmonella. The fans aren't strong enough on the vent hood to suck up all the smoke, so one side of the table was overwhelmed with smoke. Our clothes smelled like a grease fire. The next part brought me back to my youth when my parents forced me to finish my dinner plate...There was a sign on the table that said we would be charged extra if we had any uncooked meat or leftover food. We had to cook every piece of raw meat, then we disguised our uneaten food underneath other items to avoid being punished for not eating/cooking our meats. You cook your own ramen as well, which is in individual packages, just like at home. There is a ramen bar where you pick the package, grab your pot, and then dispense hot water. We were surrounded by TVs. The K-pop & Korean media is all fine & good, but it was a bit overwhelming to have 15 different shows & screens surrounding you. While the meat selection & taste was good, the $30-$40 per person price was not worth all the hassle. Your dinner ticket will suggest leaving a tip of 18%-25%. Our server was nice, but the service was barely service. We did 70% of the work. I should've read reviews before assuming my IG influencer was trustworthy. Lesson learned. read more

Our visit to MoodaePo in Carrollton was great. As soon as we walked in, we were seated pretty quickly. The prices are honestly unbeatable--$19 for all you can eat is amazing. They offer so many sides and appetizers, plus you get complimentary access to an all-you-can-eat ramen bar, which was a nice surprise. The meat was really delicious, and the grill cooked everything super fast. All the food we ordered came out quickly, and some of it was even delivered by a robot, which was such a cool touch. Our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The vibe was very cool and lively, it honestly gave me major Korea vibes. We tried this Korean barbecue place on Saturday evening. We made a reservation a week in advance for 7:00 PM, but when we arrived at 6:45, there was already a line ahead of us. It seemed like reservations didn't really matter, as walk-ins were seated before us. Fortunately, the wait wasn't too long--about 15 minutes--because they opened a second dining area. The restaurant was packed, and service was a bit inconsistent. Our first round of meat was delivered by a robot, but by the time we placed our second order, staff members brought it to our table because the robot was busy elsewhere. The meat itself was well-seasoned and delicious, but a few things left us wanting more. There were no side dishes provided initially--we had to request them. We also expected clam soup to come with our meal, but it never arrived, and no dessert was offered after we finished, though we were pretty full by then. We opted for the $29.99 BBQ option, which was decent, but considering other places offer Korean BBQ and hot pot for a similar price, I'm not sure it stood out. The ramen bar was limited to only Jin Ramen (spicy and non-spicy) with minimal toppings. Overall, the meat was flavorful, but the service and extras side dishes could use some improvement. There are a few different tiers you can select when eating here, but our group opted for the highest ($39pp) one, as this is the one that has unlimited short rib/kalbi cuts This is tucked in a plaza farther away from the HMart/Ranch 99 madness (tealatte/mochinut/golden spoon plaza/aldi plaza) and has a LOT of parking available. Service was decent and the cuts of meat come out nice and quick. Soju was ~$14 a bottle and they had a ramen bar that we didn't try for $5 (?) a person Overall a solid, casual spot if you're in the mood for all you can eat korean bbq and are looking for great cuts of meat. A lot of my friends come here so I thought to give it a try. I have never been so disappointed with KBBQ. The last time I was this disappointed was at breakers and that place no longer exists in Dallas. We paid $40 for the AYCE and the only meat we liked was kalbi and even that was mid. There was not a single meat that we truly liked. The quality of the meat was just so poor. Maybe today was their off day but it made me and my husband quite sad because we took our family from of town here. All of our banchan came out super late. We asked for our steamed egg at least 3x. I noticed in other reviews there were more banchan than what we received. I don't know but our experience was not the experience we expected it to be. We do appreciate their late night accommodation and the service was okay. The vibes all around was fine. I would just rather pay $40 towards a good a La carte KBBQ joint than this place. read more

This was a great experience. My family and I love Korean barbecue but this was the first time we had waiters come to the table and take our order and then robots brought our food to the table and we had to take it off the trays of the robot. Food was excellent! We had sort of a funny incident. We were sitting at the back of the restaurant near where the waiters get water and two of the robots where coming towards each other and could have easily passed each other but my grandson was standing at the end of the table. The two robots stopped about 8 feet from each other whirled around with their eyes swirling one backed up but my grandson was sort of stunned so pressed himself against the table. The robot that backed up decided to go forward and turn into the aisle between our table and an other table, then the other robot when on it's way past my grandson. Then the other robot backed up and continued on it's original route. It was quite humorous. Poor little guys were so confused. As we were leaving my grand kids decided to stop at the counter before leaving and buy candy. I was sitting by the door and this very nice Korean man was moving boxes and refilling bins. I asked him how to you say the name of your restaurant and he said Moo Day Poo. He said know what it means? Stubborn! That's me, that's my nick name. Loved this place. We eat KBBQ a few times a month. Decided to try this place out and am glad we did! Enjoyed the flavors, the service and the cuts of meat. Found the cuts to be very nice with lots of flavor and tenderness. The side dishes are small, but we had no problem getting refills quickly. The kimichi is top-notch. We will be returning. The atmosphere was also fun and enjoyable. Side note: IF you are unfamiliar with KBB before going to this place, do yourself a big favor and watch a couple of videos before going. i would like to first start with the service. they are extremely understaffed, making it harder for the server to check up on tables. even when we press the button we have to wait several minutes before someone comes. the music is also very loud and our server spoke very low. continuing with music, they played a lot of well known songs, perfect for people who enjoy listening to upset music. the food wasn't anything special. the kimchi "fried" rice was extremely disappointing because it was just steamed rice with very little kimchi on top. the quality of the meat and the seasoning was good, but it was not something that i would crave. the noodle station is complimentary. they have all types of noodles like shin ramen, jin ramen, 2x buldak, and a couple more. they have automatic boiling water that is dispensed to make cook time faster, with a timer attached according to the noodles you're making. however, this space can be cramped and messy very fast, with one trash can and i believe six stations right next to each other. read more

Lots of selection and customer service can vary, for example, not that great today. Although it wasn't that busy, service was a bit slow all round until the new set of servers/bussers showed up then it was a bit better. The food is pretty good, HOWEVER, there is one reason I can't see myself going back. It's so dang expensive. $40 per person for dinner and $20 for kids 5 to 9. That's a bit insane. If the price was $10 for kids and maybe $33-35 for adults, it'd be better. Other than that, definitely a fancy and cool looking place that I'd recommend visiting at least once. read more
