this place is more like like a 3.5 out of 5 stars. I come from socal, where there are numerous kbbq spots. (i think just in LA alone, there are hundreds.) We ended up getting the small beef combo which will feed 2 people for 80 bucks. so after tip and tax, it's easily over 100 bucks for two people. Keep in mind, this is not an AYCE korean bbq. The beef combo comes with Brisket, short rib, rib finger meat and bulgogi. I think the best one is the short rib followed by the brisket and then the rib finger meat and last is bulgogi. I wasn't a huge fan of the bulgogi as it was a bit dry for my taste. on your grill, there is a section for grilled cheese corn and egg. Make sure you don't over cook your grilled cheese corn, we accidently left it on for too long, and the corn was too burnt by the time we took it off. I think you can get refills, on the corn and egg, but they charge you for it. I'm glad they don't charge for the banchan. I suppose this place is a bit more expensive, as they use "premium" meats and cook the means for you. If you want pork, they have a pork combo for you. or beef/pork combo as well. We went during a weekend lunch, and we were surprised we were able to get a seat without any wait time. Maybe during dinner, it gets packed?

Great visit. My first time and I will gladly come back. They cook for us so we did not have to worry about overcooking the meat. No one in our group had to worry about being in charge of cooking and not getting to eat. Bonchans were plenty and refilled. The cheese corn and egg soufflé refilled too. Came at 6 on Friday and got seated quickly. They even brought a stand for our baby carrier and put the stroller in a cubby area to give us more room. The service and food here is excellent.

My husband and I stopped by per a friends recommendation. I made a reservation - it does get pretty busy. We were there on a Wednesday night and it was packed . We opted for the small beef combo, and we left feeling VERY full. They cooked all of our meat for us . Great setup of banchan . The kimchi stew was delicious . I have nothing bad to say about this place . I think it's well worth what you pay . Our server, Konnor, was great, and the manager helped him out in the times that he had to tend to other tables. We will definitely be back !

We made reservation for 12 for dinner. It's Tuesday evening and there are ppl waiting for table to enjoy. It's a clean restaurant and a la carte, not AYCE. The waiter also cooks for us and are so sweet. Our family need and want this and that, but no issues, service was great. Meats are fresh. Lots of sides were provided and also replenished if requested. We did the 2 large platter order for the family. It was more than enough. Soju also was good for all of us to enjoy.

I like their service here. But food wise it's a hit and miss. We did the beef combination for 2 people cause we thought it was a better deal.. hmm I think it's great you get to try multiple meat options but do note the portions are a lot smaller. I ended up ordering additional meat cause I was still hungry. I highly recommend the marinated short rib and the finger ribs! Very good. Their Kim chi is delicious too. Corn was just okay- I wish it was cheesier. I think next time, I'd order a la carte!

The service makes this place a 5 star restaurant. Staff is so attentive and considerate. Very friendly and helpful. The food is equally delicious and while pricey, you get excellent value for the price tag. Really enjoyed the beef for 4 and all its sides. Something for everyone!

Ari Korean BBQ in Carrollton is a nice, simple place to try Korean BBQ. The meat tastes fresh and they cook it for you right at the table, which is pretty cool. I like the combo platter because you get to try a few different kind of meat, and the sides like pickled veggie and soup was good. The restaurant is cozy but a bit nosy, the staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are fair for the quality, and it's not all you can eat, but you get a good amount of food.

To start off, the service was amazing. Even the manager came to greet us and ask how everything was! The servers basically cooked for us and cooked the food perfectly at that. I forgot to take a photo, but I order the the small beef and pork combo and my husband and I almost couldn't finish it!! He says this is definitely his new favorite spot, "totally not cause the corn and eggs"

Being from LA, we're extra critical of Korean food since Ktown in Los Angeles is pretty unbeatable. Ari was legit. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality, the service and vibe here on a busy Saturday night. The combos are the way to go if you're looking for a solid sampling of meats. They come with all the sides and kbbq supplements, including jigaes (soups), salad, corn, egg, banchans. It was a fun experience. Great for small and large parties.

The food here has much to be desired. The side dishes are lacking in flavor and so is the marinated meat. The meat quality is okay it's not bad it's not good but for marinated meat there's barely any flavor. The service is great though. The server and host were very courteous and accommodating. But for the price this kbbq isn't worth it.

One of the best meals I've had in my visit to Dallas. Parking wasn't bad at all and we got seated right away on a Friday evening. Although I hear wait times can be high so a reservation is typically suggested. Definitely higher quality meats than what I had at the AYCE places. You definitely get what you pay for here and prices can be a bit higher than most places I've been in Houston and it's worth it. I really like the short ribs and pork belly, the banchan/and soup were okay, can't go wrong with the rice/kimchi/meat combo, and also like how they attached the eggs/corn on the side of the grill. Service was attentive and they even help cooked the meats for us. I liked how the grill is setup closer to the edge so the waiters can reach and cook fairly easily. Overall a great experience, can definitely see myself coming back next time I'm in town.

Before the main event, we got the seafood & green onion pancake. Crispy on the outside and reasonably chewy interior. Good amount of seafood; in particular, the oyster stood out. It was also a nice portion that was ideal for sharing. I opted for the seafood soondubu. Everything, from the banchan to the specific side dishes served with the soondubu, came out not too long after ordering. I got it at spice level three which I thought offered the right amount of kick without being too overwhelming (I also like to think I have a pretty strong spice tolerance). It had a good variety of seafood; namely, the shrimp and oyster. I'm not the biggest fan of clams but they were definitely still tasty. The tofu was soft and silky. The yellow croaker and rice were great supplements to the dish. The rice perfectly absorbed the broth. The croaker added a nice crunchy break from everything. The banchan was pretty standard in my opinion - still, a great complement to the soondubu. Last but not least - service was attentive and quick. I will definitely be coming back at some point!

The restaurant had plenty of space, but service was still super fast and efficient anyway, which I loved. What I love about Chodang is that the food is stellar and such good PORTIONS. Knowing this, I still opted to order a Combo Special because the thought of having leftovers for the next day sounded great to me. I ordered the Kimchi Tofu Soup with Beef Bulgogi, and it was delicious. I usually order my soups at the Spicy level, which I would say has a kick and flavor but never leaves me panting for air or water. As someone who likes spice, I wouldn't say it's very spicy, but definitely flavorful. Beef Bulgogi is one of my favorite dishes, and this place's version does not disappoint. The meat is tender and has a good balance of sweet and salty. My friends also ordered Combo Specials with a Tofu soup and the Korean bbq ribs, and Spicy Pork Bulgogi. One of these friends opted for the medium spice level, which I would say is a safe choice for everyone, especially if you're worried about something being too spicy. All soups come with Korean side dishes, a whole grilled yellow croaker fish (delicious but lots of bones), and a hot stone bowl of rice. Nothing missed!
