I give this place 5/5. Good hospitality, service was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. Inside is typical Japanese spot. Not too small or big. But well decorated and nice window lighting. We ordered few sushi and it was made by hand by the chef. It was not heavy rice but heavy on the toppings which was good. Parking was not an issue. Overall. It was a good experience and good food.

Where do I begin.... I wish I could gatekeep this sushi place because I dont want it to get too congested with traffic and lose its quality like so many of our other local sushi spots. I cant keep quite about this place because not only is the sushi delicious & fresh, but the couple that owns it are incredibly nice & attentive. Weve been back to Moon sushi a couple times and the food & service is always great! I recommend go hungry and try everything on the menu, but whatever you do, DO NOT SKIP on the spicy tuna crispy rice & edadame. The spicy tuna crispy rice is massive, but oh so so good! This place is truly a hidden gem! I hope the quality & freshness always stays the same, but I wish this restaurant a success, they deserve it! Highly recommend!

Good was flavorful, great service, and the fish is fresh! The place filled up with many regulars while we were there. We had the Jam roll, salmon sushi, yellowtail sushi, Saturn roll and all were scrumptious! This place makes you want to return!!

Moon Sushi Bar was a fantastic surprise. I grabbed a seat at the sushi bar and had the pleasure of watching Chef Gun prepare each dish right in front of me. His attention to detail and craftsmanship were evident with every bite. I ordered the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice to start, Baked Crab Handroll, Spicy Scallop Handroll, Halibut Nigiri, Amberjack Nigiri, Spicy Yellowtail "Joe" Handroll, Baked Scallop Cut roll, Yellowtail Belly Nigiri, and Toro Nigiri. Everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The Yellowtail Belly and Toro Nigiri were especially memorable, melting in my mouth with rich, buttery texture. The Spicy Yellowtail "Joe" Handroll was my favorite! I could've just ordered a few of that handroll and called it a night!! Jeff provided outstanding service throughout the meal. He checked in consistently, made sure everything was perfect, and created a welcoming, fun atmosphere without ever being intrusive. For a small neighborhood, hole-in-the-wall sushi spot, the quality of the food was seriously impressive. It's the kind of place you discover once and immediately add to your regular rotation. Delicious food, great service, and an authentic sushi bar experience. I'll definitely be back.

Well prepared and fresh quality fish. The oysters and sashimi were absolutely perfect! The seafood service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere is quite lively with music at the bar that at times made it a bit difficult to have a conversation, but overall an excellent experience.

This review has been sitting in my drafts for a while but I really enjoyed this spot and wanted to share! I'd say five stars for great taste and a super kind, friendly owner. I came here on a lunch break and got two handrolls, one spicy yellowtail and one baked crab. There was nobody else in the restaurant, which was sort of expected for it only being 4:30. Lots of tables, nice music playing. The fish tasted fresh and the spicy mayo was quite yummy, though there was a lot of it. Was surprised that they did their baked crab on seaweed instead of soy paper. The seaweed got pretty soggy, but it tasted good. Subtracted a star because I do think this place is a little too pricy - though if I could say 4.5 stars I would . I know sushi is expensive but there isn't much that sets it apart to justify the price tag. My two handrolls came out to just under $30 after tax and tip. One was $10 and the other was $12, and they were regular-sized handrolls; good but nothing incredible. Next time I'll probably get a chirashi bowl, which is $20.

Hole in the wall sushi spot w/ a limited menu and parking. Decent pace of people (half the tables) were seated at around 7PM on a Thursday. Food was alright. - Chirashi w/ Miso (menu stated $20, but I got charged $24 which I didn't notice until after leaving): Decent cuts of sashimi on a bed of rice that was a little too soaked with vinegar. It still tasted yummy and the texture was nice with a slight chew, but towards the bottom it was too tart. The tuna didn't taste as fresh as the other cuts of fish. Miso soup was grainier than I would've liked but tasty. - Salmon Carpaccio ($18): Nice presentation but salmon wasn't very fresh imo and the ponzu sauce was cloudy. Not my favorite. Service was friendly and checked up on us often. Inside was relatively clean, but I was a little put off by how the sushi chef wasn't wearing gloves. I wasn't paying attention the whole time, but I can only noticed him washing his hands once in between the 4 parties that were served. I'm not too confident in the quality of fish here, but I do think their specialty rolls have more promise based on presentation and hopefully taste.

Always delicious and fresh! And now we've discovered this dangerously refreshing Japanese cocktail

45 minute wait for 1 roll

Terrible service, the owner/ server took my order after taking shots with one of his tables and "lost" my order. When I asked him about my order and why everyone else is getting food except for my table he said, "don't worry about what I'm doing"..... Overall 0/10 I would not recommend anyone go here for any reason. The miso soup was only like warm and the crispy rice was not fresh. The sushi was ok but I will never be back or recommend this hole the wall.

One of the best sushi spots I've had a in a while actually. We didn't really do any appetizers and went straight in for the fish. Started off with a couple of hand rolls, we did the crab hand roll and O toro hand roll. Crab hand roll wasn't as impressive, I've had better to be honest. I didn't let that experience ruin it for me because the toro hand roll was delicious. I think they add a piece of mint and it complimented the hand roll. Very crunchy nori wrapper and good rice to fish ratio. For our sushi we started with chu toro tuna, salmon belly, and halibut. Super fresh melt in your mouth quality. Halibut was interesting with the truffle, first time definitely won't be the last. We ended it with red snapper and black snapper. Absolutely amazing, I think the black snapper or the red snapper was slightly charred. It was so good. To say the least, this restaurant was worth it!

Nice of the chef to switch out roe for halibut for me on my omakase. However, probably the worst omakase I've ever had. No creativity, nothing felt premium, chewy fish, flavors didn't mesh, and half of it was salty. The miso soup wasn't scorching, which i appreciated at first but that meant the last few sips were fairly room temp. The real crab handroll was good. If the price point was $35 sushi set I'd give 5/5 but this is supposed to be premium omakase. I've been to other Sushi Enya locations and had good experiences, so this was very disappointing. Stick to the rolls and nigiri.

Had no idea it was going to be this busy on a random Wednesday. But this place is truly a gem! People come here for the Sashimi Lunch ($26) which is an absolute steal considering the quality and amount of food you get! Note: to get the sashimi lunch, you must sit at a table (not the counter). It comes with miso soup, side of pickled veggies, tofu side dish and the pièce de résistance the sashimi platter. They run a tight ship here and understandably so; they want to take care of all their customers waiting. Needless to say, everything was fresh, delicious and most importantly filling. From the very first bite, you could tell the quality was on another level. Every piece of fish tasted unbelievably fresh--like it had just come off the boat a couple of hours earlier. It's rare to find sushi that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate how clean, buttery, and flavorful it is. The salmon sashimi absolutely melted in my mouth and was one of the best I've had in a long time. The tuna was just as impressive, rich with incredible texture and freshness. Every roll and every piece of nigiri was prepared with so much care that it reminded me why I love sushi in the first place. You can really tell they take pride in the quality of their ingredients, and it shows in every bite. The experience went beyond just the food. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and had the perfect sushi spot vibe. I wish I could remember our server's name because they were fantastic--giving great recommendations, making us feel genuinely welcomed, and showing us so much hospitality throughout the meal.
