It's an all-you-can-eat spot that's a little pricier than some of the other AYCE options in the area, but the quality is noticeably better. They offer both a regular and premium menu, and I'd definitely recommend going premium; the additional options are worth it. If you love yuzu and garlic oil, don't even read the rest of this--just drive on over. Their lunch special runs until 3 PM on weekdays, and the lunch menu is the same as dinner, which is a nice bonus. The restaurant has a modern look with wooden paneling and strip lighting, making it feel like a great date-night spot. There is ample parking as it's situated in a larger shopping plaza. Another thing I really liked is that sushi items come one piece at a time, while rolls come as four pieces, so you can try a much wider variety without getting overly full on one item. It's perfect for an AYCE menu where you want to sample as much as possible. We ordered from the premium menu and everything we tried was chef's kiss. They did seem to be having a bit of an off day with the service. Some of our food was delayed, and orders placed well after ours were coming out before ours. Our server did apologize and mention they were having some issues in the back but everything eventually came out, and it was very good. My favorites were the Ama Ebi (sweet shrimp), the Japanese scallop (which practically melts in your mouth) and the Yellowtail Cilantro Roll. We've been regularly coming to Kizame. It's close to home, the service was always friendly, and the food was consistently good. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was a real letdown. I ordered tamago sushi for my toddler, and it was clearly spoiled. It's likely about 3 days old based on how far off it had gone. Not what you expect to be served, especially for a young child. Then, despite sitting down at 7:30pm, we were asked to leave at 8:30pm while my girls were still eating their ice cream, because the restaurant had other guests waiting (Wasn't the time limit two hours, not one?!). I tried to make the best of it and had my girls carry their ice cream out with them, but in the rush, my toddler dropped hers and burst into tears. We had an amazing experience at Kizame AYCE Sushi! The food was fresh, delicious, and came out at a great pace, but what really made our visit stand out was our server, Lexie. She was absolutely wonderful--super attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire meal. I recently visited here to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant itself makes a great first impression. The ambience looks upscale, clean and modern decor that feels nice for a special occasion. Our party opted for their premium ACYE option at $54.99/pp, which includes a one-time order of premium fish selections along with unlimited items from the regular menu. Unfortunately, the fish didn't taste as fresh as expected, especially considering the price point. The premium selection was mediocre at best and the rice-to-fish ratio was noticeably off, with far more rice than fish. Overall, the quality felt subpar, particularly compared to other AYCE sushi spots I've tried. It's honestly tough to find a truly solid AYCE sushi place in the SFV, but for a similar price range and within the Valley, I'd say Aikan sushi in Northridge is slightly better in terms of quality. That said, my all time favorite remains at "Here Fishy Fishy" in Ktown off Wilshire. It's worth the drive if you don't mind going out of the area. While Kizame has a nice ambiance and potential, the quality didn't quite justify the premium price, which was disappointing for a birthday celebration. But they do offer self-serve unlimited soft serve ice cream which is a rare gem offering at AYCE sushi spots so I have to give them props for that offering. Time for a new hostess. I literally searched Google for a Sushi restaurant on the way to my appointment and stopped in. I said one person for lunch. She asked if I want: "All You Can Eat"? in a very low tone volume, I asked her: "what?" again with a low tone. I said I can't hear you displaying my hand behind my ear and on the 3rd attempt I heard and declined. restaurant had the most around 6 tables of customers. she takes me to the end of the dining room to a small table against the wall. like I'm insignificant and doesn't say a welcoming word and walks away. so I shifted to the table next to me which was a step up. she returns and gives me a dirty look. I said I'm sorry I hope you don't mind I moved over and she literally gives me a bigger dirty look and waves her hands like I've done something wrong. i'm actually claustrophobic and I can't be put in small little confined places like that. I need to be in an area where my mind feels safe if that makes any sense to anybody about claustrophobia. I was about to spend $100 for my lunch & a meal togo for my girlfriend: and how inconsiderate to think I'm gonna stay at this establishment being treated like trash: I decided the stress is not worth it and got up and I left. The owners of this establishment should know that she just pushed Money right out the door and that's not the way to do business. I'm considered an expert: cause I was born in a restaurant from the age of six setting the tables at my mom's Restaurant and then years later her pizza shop and sandwich shop. You don't treat potential lifetime customers like that. If the restaurant was oversold and they only had like one or two tables, then I would understand, but even then you don't think people like they are less than. A rare and very well deserved five stars. We love our sushi and are not willing to compromise taste for price, and Kizame is anything but compromise. Everything and everyone was absolutely great! The fish was fresh, flavorful, very clean and honestly speaking, just supremely superior. This was some of the freshest fish I had, the portions are absolutely the perfect size, the service is amazing. All the staff of so incredibly friendly and the food comes out relatively quickly. Food: The food is really good here, it's good and fresh. The kitchen items are delicious. They also have an ice cream machine. They have a regular price and a premium. We were so disappointed when our favorite sushi spot closed, so my family and I have been on the hunt for a new one--and I'm 100% sure we found it. This place is small, but very clean and welcoming. We tried the all-you-can-eat menu, which comes with three rounds of ordering. We didn't even make it past the first round, that's how satisfying everything was. Everything we tried was really tasty. Our server, Gavin, was amazing. Since it was our first time, he took the time to explain how everything worked and was very attentive, checking in on us regularly without being overbearing. My little son loved their softshell crab, squid legs and soft served ice cream. He literally ate one whole order of squid legs. My hubby and I are back for some delish AYCE Sushi and many more items and since it's 2026, I wanted to give an update of this restaurant and I'm super pleased to say that the food here is still delicious and the wonderful choices they have here and of course, the service here is amazing as before!! Excellent service from the staff, the host and waiters were attentive and has answers for any questions we had. The restaurant itself has a nice upscale look for an all you can eat sushi place. Our meal started off great with the carpaccio we order, but after that everything else was kind of Meh. The rice ratio on the nigri was 2-1 which made it feel like a chore to finish each piece. They have a great variety style wise of rolls but most of them had a little too much sauce which made it hard to distinguish which ones stood out as really good, instead they all kind of felt the same. Overall I'd still say it's worth checking out at least once, lots of people enjoyed the food here, and like I said it wasn't bad, there just wasn't anything that stood out to me that would have me add this to my rotation of AYCE sushi place that I regularly go to. read more

I like their decor and ambiance. However, the fish didn't taste or felt as fresh, the takoyaki was plain, and baked mussels were slightly overcooked. The service wasn't great either. It took awhile for our items to arrive. They have a 2 hour limit, we had about 30 minutes remaining and we did eat fast the entire time. It took awhile for the check to come and then again for them to come back after running my card. As I'm about to sign the receipt the hostess came over to rush us out since there was a line. It was completely rude and my partner was still eating his ice cream. This has never happened before as we go out to eat almost everyday, and we're literally in and out of restaurants in less than an hour (unless it's ayce but we never go over the limit that's for sure). I loved the half rolls/ small portion that they give as it gives more option to try other items! I would say that some of the rolls are kind of the same taste but a bit different depending on the roll by switching up some of the ingredients in it. Nonetheless, all the rolls I tried were bomb! They also have a variety of appetizers to choose from. The crispy squid legs and baked mussels were my favorite! Service 5/5. Service was good, they were attentive to when you wanted to order more and refilling drinks. But honestly not sure if we were assigned one server or if it was multiple servers as different people were checking up on us. Not that I'm complaining lol. Walking into the restaurant, I'm greeted by the hostess with her warm and radiant smile. THIS is what sets the tone for the rest of my meal experience. She gave me seating options by the sushi bar area. As a first-time customer, my server, Matthew, explained the menu to me, and provided water and ginger/wasabi. Dinner was a bit busy, so I didn't mind letting him do his thing. I brought my book anyway! What really stood out to me was how he checked on me just enough; he wasn't bothersome at all. Everyone was attentive and kind, including the chefs! I was so happy, especially when Matthew and the hostess whose name I didn't get told me about the complimentary soft serve. I LOVE soft serve! It was the cherry on top to a perfect solo dining experience. No excessive waiting, no flagging down servers, no attitude problems, just positive vibes all around. I hope other customers will notice and appreciate their service as much as I did because this should be the standard for AYCE anything! Such a solid team. We decided to stick with mostly fish since the appetizers looked really good, but knew it was going to fill us up quick. However , I do recommend getting the Uni pasta. It is very creamy and delicious. My boyfriend's favorite was the soft shell crab. He said he could run them out of business of just eating the soft shell crab alone LOL! The fish is very fresh but I did notice during the second/third round they did start adding more rice to the rice/fish ratio. No complaining - but did get us full so maybe that's their tactic haha. The seating is really efficient, they packed a lot of tables into the small space, but it didn't really feel crowded at all. The waiters are constantly in motion, so there was never much of a wait between rounds, and food came out quickly. What I really liked is that the size per serving was small, just 1 piece per order and rolls were only 4 pieces, so you could really try a little of everything before getting full. There's some items that are okay, some good and some misses. For me all the rolls except the one with the shishito pepper were misses. Second time we came for ayce. The lunch pricing ends at 3pm. The premium items (the halibut, amber jack, Japanese scallop, uni, toro, and bellies) are probably the best out of all however they limit it to only 1st round and the additional rounds are extra. Our favorite was the salmon yuzu. Im usually a fan of freshwater eel but I struggled eating it here. They made a few errors with our order but thankfully didn't charge us for extra waste. It takes a little time to get our food too. Overall we will most likely just come back for a la carte. The price point for ayce is pretty high.
