I enjoy the concept and idea of a healthy dinner but the quality was lacking. I got a custom moonbowl, with main things like chicken, tofu, corn, brocolli, pineapple, and mandarin. The chicken was unfortunately very hard. Nothing like what roasted chicken should have been. The tofu was good, but also not fresh. I had a similar experience as other reviewers, saying the brocolli was wrinkly and not at all what it should be. The taste was just okay. Overall, I actually did not finish the bowl... and the food just left me wanting Chipotle. Again. I appreciate the concept. Im not sure what the negative reviews are all about. Their bowls are great, portion are large, ingredients fresh, and theyre open late when most of your options are unhealthy food. I got the fried chicken salad, and it was great. A lot better than sweetgreens, on par with mad greens. Delivery was fast, and their lavender-colored bags are a cute touch. I tried the cauliflower wings too and was pleasantly surprised. First time having them but not the last. The coating on the wings i think makes them top notch. It's so light but doesnt fall off the when you take a bit. I believe they use chickpea flour per their site. Great call because they were awesome. The vegan salad dressing was good too. What killed it for me was the chicken but I still ate it because I was very hungry already. 10/10 on portion size 1/10 on the Orange chicken, felt like it has just been sitting in oil so nothing fresh about it and some pieces I was just unsure of if they were cooked. So I would further inspect by breaking the chicken apart. 7/10 brown rice was cooked thoroughly. Veggies are veggies. 6-7/10 orange sesame sauce. Ordered through the new app called FeedPlan to test it out. 5 meals for $50 I enjoy the concept of it. First time I've tried moonbowls and this will be my last time I try moonbowls. I was looking for a healthy meal and stumbled upon this place on Doordarsh. Pictures and food options looked great. I ordered the orange chicken bowl with a side of cooked broccoli. I honestly don't know if I just picked the wrong items but I had to throw out the food because it was, I'm sorry to say, just bad. The orange chicken had a weird jerky like texture that was extremely dry and crumbly with a soggy paste like coating, which I believe was supposed to be nice and crisp. The sautéed broccoli was an old green, grey, and brown color and honestly tasted spoiled. It's odd to say that the best part of the bowl was the brown rice, which of course wasn't anything special. I've never written a 1 star review, but in hopes of giving some negative criticism I am hoping this establishment can use it to better the quality of food. read more

I ordered this a few days ago through DoorDash and liked it well enough. I enjoyed the flavors and I really appreciated their devotion to vegans, vegetarians and people with food restrictions. In general, orange chicken is very hard to find gluten free and I love when I find a place that makes it available to those with this dietary restriction as it says a lot about the people making the food. It's thoughtful and speaks my foodie love language. They ddukbokki took awhile to come out but once we got it, we enjoyed how it tasted like classic spicy rice cake with fish cake in it. It only had half of a boiled egg, but it was still good paired with the spicy and sweet sauce. They had lots of seating indoors. Definitely will be coming back to try more items.

Get a beer or wine instead. They do have happy hour on Friday and Saturday. Service was friendly and quick, if not super talkative. The ambiance was fun, upscale city with neon colors and brick. Highly highly recommend if you're looking for good food at a mid level price.

The Banchan sides came out first - at least 10 of them, it was amazing, and endless! Sadly they ran out of the sweet potato when i tried to order more. The meats and banchan came out first before the appetizer unfortunately so we ended up taking most of the pancake home. But the meat was so delicious we almost didn't care. Can't wait to come back!

Some of the pieces were particularly fatty (that happens with short ribs, so it's not necessarily the restaurant's fault), but it decreased the amount of meat on that "piece" as well. The bulgogi was tasty, but similar to the ribs, the plate just wasn't filled. The tofu stew was good, not great. It comes with 2 clams and a fair amount of tofu. The banchan have a one time refill included which is great! We could probably eat their banchan all day. I didn't see that written anywhere though. Fun environment to eat family style and catch up with friends.

We ordered the jalapeño soy chicken wings, volcano pork, and the kimchi fried rice. My favorite was the chicken wings, really crunchy with good flavor and the wings were decently sized. The volcano pork came over a fire burner and cooked at our table. It was definitely pretty spicy but paired really well with the kimchi fried rice, which I thought could be spicier. The pork quality was ok but I really liked the flavors and the bean sprouts in the pot. I particularly love that K Pocha has zero sugar soju on the menu no sugar = no hangovers!) I always drink the brand with the fox on it and squeeze a bit of lemon into the shot. We were served by the owner and the service was efficient. He didn't seem to speak the best English so we had to have one of our friends translate when we asked questions, but he was really nice and welcoming. K Pocha seems to be pretty new, so I will hopefully be back soon to support his business! I definitely want to try the army stew and the tofu soups.
