I feel like I can only give four stars because my friend didn't enjoy what she had but that said - my experience with the food here was great!! I got it via Uber eats during a heavy snowstorm so I can't comment on service or ambiance, but my friend who was on a diet found something she could eat here and the pics looked good to me so we went for it. I ordered a bowl of ramen, and she got a bowl as well but with zucchini noodles and tofu (essentially vegan+ diet). We also got some spiced edamame, seaweed salad, and mushroom bao buns. I greatly enjoyed everything I had, especially the flavorful ramen broth - and I was particularly impressed with the portions (huge!)! Between those three sides and our two bowls of ramen I think the total was about $60, and we had leftovers from everything (except the bao, we ate those immediately). With the tip for Uber I think we spent about $80, so not bad for a dinner feast of champions! Like I said I don't have anything to compare it to, but if I were in Denver again and craving ramen, I would certainly consider coming here as a knee jerk reaction unless I found something else interesting to try. read more

This is my favorite ramen in Denver! It is a bit more casual than full-service places, but every bit as good (if not better). The Tonkatsu ramen is especially good - I dream about the broth, lol. Hidden away amongst a handful of shops, this place was simple and small but not overwhelmingly busy. Their menu is large and covers both poke and ramen; even letting you build your own poke bowl with an enormous amount of options. We got the chicken ramen and the ton katsu ramen, both absolutely delicious. This bowl is large for the low price and worth every sip. The service is fast at turning around the food too. We love Asuka Ramen and Poke! Their ramen bowls are excellent, and if you get it delivered or to go their ramen comes with large plastic bowls making it much easier to eat properly. I exclusively go to Asuka Ramen for their pork belly buns. They are delicious and I am never not satisfied with the buns. I do want to try the other buns that they offer. The rest of the food they offer is just OK. The Ramen isn't anything special, the broth isn't very rich or savory. It seems like a higher end version of Ramen that you can buy from the grocery store from the package. The rice bowls are OK as well nothing that you couldn't just make at home. Takoyaki is one of my favorite Japanese street foods and the Takoyaki that I ordered from Asuka to-go was burnt and seemed to be rushed. The Takoyaki was over price compared to other Takoyaki that I have bought from two other restaurants in Denver that taste and look way better. The shrimp tempura was good and I like the sauce that comes with it. The restaurant is clean and has a few tables to sit at. It can get filled quickly on a busy afternoon or evening. The menu is easy to order from and is digitalized. I will continue to order the pork belly buns and try the other buns but nothing else from here. read more

For quick Japanese, heck yeah! The workers work hard and we're very helpful. All of us enjoyed our meals which is rare. Usually someone has a dish which is off, but not this time! Loved it all! Ramen, poke, gyoza, and noodles. It's all fresh and came out quickly. You can even customize your poke bowls. Good ramen, maybe the best in Denver. Don't order when they are busy. I usually go by myself and pickup, never had any issues. About a month ago i ordered on a cold night for my girlfriend and me. When we got there, they were getting orders nonstop from food delivery services. Ordered 2 ramens and an app. We got the order and went home. Open the order and they gave us the wrong app. I called to see if they would refund the app as I live across the city, they told me they would call back later when boy so busy. Not a big deal. What was upsetting was they gave my girlfriend miso broth and she has a soy allergy. So I was sitting with her for the next 5 hours while she threw up and dealing with elevated heart rate. While all of this is going on, I get a text saying that they can't refund just the app, but would give me an app for free next visit. I understand businesses get slammed and it's a nightmare to deal with, but you have to stay on top of orders to make sure people with allergies aren't being impacted. We have ate there before and she has no issues with non miso broth. I appreciate the free app offer, but I just can't return after the issue. read more

I feel like I have been on the hunt to find good ramen in Denver and it has been kinda tough. Asuka really delivered on their ramen. My husband ate in-person and then ordered my ramen to-go to bring home. I had the Tonkotsu Ramen and he ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. There could be a few more vegetables in the mix, but overall the flavor was great. The pork broth was incredibly rich and the actual pork belly had the most flavor our of any pork belly I have had in a long time. Like a melt in your mouth type of thing. This is an excellent find. I'm very happy with their Ramen and their Bao Bun seem to me is on steroids. It comes in two pieces per order. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. After eating the Bao Buns my Sukiyaki Ramen had to be boxed and taken home. The ramen is no slouch either. The broth is rich and do good. The perfectly poached egg floats like a bright yellow flower. I am from an area in NJ that is pretty much devoid of ramen restaurants so I am trying to broaden my ramen experience whenever I can. The tonkotsu ramen offered at A R & P was excellent , the broth was complex and very flavorful, the ramen noodles were cooked perfectly as well as the delicious soft cooked egg. Service was fast, and friendly, and tables were spotless, it is a small dining area, and there is no social spacing that I can see.. Our ramen bowls were ready just a few minutes time we ordered to the time they served us the ramen. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen pictured below. It was delightful. The pork belly was tender and subtle. The fat can sometimes be gummy, but not in this case. The noodles were perfectly cooked. Not too soft in that they lost their texture and melted away. The broth was delicious. Not too salty. I often get debilitated by food decisions. After a long day of hiking or work, sometimes I'm not sure what I want and I wait far too long until I'm absolutely hangry. When I decided to order from Asuka late one Saturday night, it was one of those days. I complained to a friend that I was going to starve due to my delay indecision. And it is because of that conversation, I can tell you just how awesome Asuka is. My food arrived ~13 minutes after ordering it. No joke. I looked at the time stamps. I'm in the neighborhood, but still far enough, that I found this shocking, impressive, and worthy of a review all in itself. I ordered the pork belly buns, which were absolutely fantastic. Super delicious! I only wish you could buy the buns individually so as a single person you could get a variety. I also got the build your own poke bowl; they allow you to select from tons of toppings, and the sky really is the limit, which I was psyched by. I will say, it was clear to me the rice had been sitting, and not mixed with my requested sauce separately, so that is why I deducted a star (given the super fast delivery, I'm not surprised, but would hope for better in the future). I would've preferred some of the toppings to be cut smaller, but that's a style choice. I definitely will be trying the ramen next time. Also, note if you order through Yelp 'serviced by GrubHub' instead of GrubHub there may be less fees--at least that was the case for me. read more

This place is delicious! It's conveniently located and the service is quick. I usually hate having to wait so long for ramen but this isn't the case here. The ambiance is chill and lowkey. Went walking around Cheesman park and the Botanical gardens and stopped here for lunch. Very fast service and delicious food! We enjoyed the spicy tuna nachos, which were fresh and spicy! We loved the crispy wonton chips, fresh avocado and jalapeños and deliciously flavored raw tuna. We also split the Spicy miso ramen, which was a HUGE portion and so flavorful! I made an uh oh and ordered from this location rather than the one much closer by in Edgewater. Thankfully the poke and ramen stood up to the extra drive to our friends who live by Sloan's Lake. I tried their spicy tuna poke bowl with half white rice and half mixed greens and it was delicious! Anytime I order poke I never put fruit in it but this particular bowl came with pineapple. I was stuffed after my poke and still managed to find room for my bun. My poke was SO good. I was on a mission to find some vegan ramen before rolling out of Colorado (it's hard to come by in Indy and I was craving some broth!). This fast casual ramen and poke shop offers two vegetarian and two vegan ramen options along with the fishier/meatier classics. Bowls run between $12-15 and it seems that more folks were ordering it to go vs. eating in. I opted for the spicy vegetarian ramen with coconut milk. The thing that threw me off about their version was that it included tomatoes and arugula which seemed like odd pairings for ramen (I typically enjoy arugula but it was pretty bitter in addition to ramen). Our order took around ten minutes to prepare and the staff was friendly and hustling. Overall, I think a remix on the ingredients and the spicy veggie broth would have made this version more my cup of tea. Note that they also offer a wide variety of appetizers like ramen and fried octopus balls. One more recommendation would be labels that show if there is fish in a dish or a little more confidence on where dashi is and is not used for those with allergies. read more
