A great local taproom focusing on dark brews and porters. Rotating food trucks and exemplary unisex bathrooms set this local gem apart from the rest. A very generous indoor and outdoor space accommodates guests of all sizes, and there is a small indoor gymnasium/trampoline park nearby for the kiddos.

The beer is great really enjoyed here except the staff was a little rude. They weren't very helpful, but I would still come back.

I have been gluten free for 5 years and was a little hesitant when I read they have beer options for gluten folks. Not just seltzers. Best ever, my husband loves a good craft beer. We both love Moonlight Brewing! Johnny is the best, offers suggestions, walked us through the amazing selections. Now they just need to start shipping to Nebraska!

Absolutely love this gem off the beaten path. Always friendly service and fantastic beer with a rotation of food trucks. Fall is great time to enjoy the ambiance of some fall color with a pint or two of the seasonal special Boney Fingers.

Last micro-brewery of the night. Wonderful selections.

Moonlight goodness We were visiting a few of hidden micro breweries and found Moonlight brewing co. Interesting Vibe. It hosts an old warehouse building that just oozes character. Inside, you see concrete floors, graffiti walls, and rustic decor. It was not very busy when we arrived-but we were welcomed with a smile. Large seating area and bar area. We played shuffle board, ordered a few beers, and visited with two other dog owners. Our favorite beer: BLACK TO REALITY/. Black Pilsner. Try it! Perk: They serve Gluten Reduced Beer!

Met a Yelp buddy here for a couple brews - Ryn came over and had one with me, that's what I call a good dude. Moonlight has been around longer than most breweries in the area, but it stays a very casual place to have a couple or 3. The lounging room looks like they work there all day then set it up for the evening. There is a small bar up front as you walk in the door with all of their taps. Shannon was our beer tender that day - very sharp and knowledgeable. She told us that the Brewer is NOT a huge HOP Fan, however, he uses them in moderation. Their Pilsner is one of the best around named Reality Czech, the IPA is tasty, and Death & Taxes is a dark lager - kind of their Cash Cow as it's been around for a long time, it's an OG Craft Brew. We also tried a Red Ale and a Gruet (might be the same thing) that has depth and bitterness but made with no hops. Someone said the trend is going away from Hops - Hahahahaha, no it's not, but your beers are excellent!!

    Reality Czech (Pilsner) quite refreshing!

We drove from the south bay and got turned away due to the size of our 10 person party. Not worth the effort.

Ask the Community - Moonlight Brewing

Do they have wine for non beer spouses?

Sorry, as of right now our license only allows us to sell alcoholic beverages that we make on site!

    Are kids allowed?

I don't think you would be turned away, but it is small and would not be ideal for kids.

It was not bad, just not wowed. If you are following, I have been buying many of these beers from Whole Paycheck, I mean Whole Foods from $6 a bottle. On the second flight, I decided to do the entire Belgian Inspired Flight - The better of the two flights. So many different flavors. My daughter got the Southwest Wrap - I took a small bite, it was good. Just the perfect amount of kick, spice. And I think it's healthy. Kettle chips were good but had some burnt ends?!?! We were going to get the wings also, but after drinking 13 samplers, I was so full. Plus my daughter wanted to check out Teriyaki Madness in Novato, so off we went. See other review. Ambiance - Decent size location. Indoor and outdoor seating. An indoor bar, counter, and table seating. Semi open kitchen. Street metered parking. There is a paid lot/garage in the rear of the building but we got a perfect space right in front so did not need to go to the garage. MAKE sure you feed the meter, I watched people getting tickets!! The meter maids are on foot, so it was not easy to see them coming. It is best to keep your meter fed. Happy hour available for $1 off beers. Many other specials; see my pictures or check out their website. Clean restrooms. Cool art outside the building; see pictures. A small gift shop. Service - Jon did a good job. Patient. And checked up on us often. Price - $40 + generous tip. I think it was a little expensive for what we got. The meal came out to "two" beers and a wrap; really just enough food for one person. But because we are light eaters, it was enough for us. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1997. My goal is to join the line next year for Pliny The Young!!! Wish me luck.

The place was empty beside us but it was nice and quiet. They have a really nice selection of beers on tap and a good variety of food choices. They have tv's playing sports and it feels like a place where you could hang out for hours. On this visit, I tried the "Dream of Jupiter" red ale. It wasn't my favorite. A little too hoppy for my taste, but still a good drink to have with food. For food, we ordered the BBQ Nachos with Tri-tip , and some wings. The wings were pretty good with a sweet chili ginger sauce. We also tried their dry-rubbed wings, which were just okay. The nachos had good flavor, but some of the chips got kind of burnt in the broiler. The tri-tip was also a little underwhelming as it was just a bunch of small pieces that didn't have a lot of flavor. Overall, I still liked the flavor of the nachos, but I would get a side of sour cream or something else to go with it. I still really like this place and hope to come back again.

I was happy to stop in on a quiet afternoon, looks like a fun place on nights and weekends. They have some outdoor seating, which was a bit bright in the afternoon so I sat inside. They have a mostly local tap list of all kinds of beer; there were too many to try so I got two flights while I rested a while. The glassware is super clean, great selection, and reasonable prices. The bartenders were also welcoming. It's worth a stop!

We got to sit at the chef's table which provided the best views of exporting and some cooking too. All the staff here seem to love their job and everyone is smiling! I love that! The food was pretty great too. The miso guacamole was handmade from fresh avocados right in front of us. I really enjoyed the fried salt and pepper octopus too. Great sauce accompaniment. The two sandwiches we ordered were very interestingly on grilled bao buns which actually held together pretty well. I personally didn't love the pickled veggies but my husband enjoyed them. It was refreshing. I wasn't very hungry but there were so many opts that had a unique twist so, after speaking with the bartenders I decided on the Smokey Poke and the Chicken wings. The poke was super fresh, light, and had nuts which gave it another dynamic level of flavor and crunch. The chicken wings are full bone in wings including the drum stick part intact. The crispy skin was cooked to perfection and the flavor was like nothing I have tasted before. The goat cheese ranch took the dish to the next level.

The waitress was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu and cleared up any questions we had. The food is so delicious. We ordered Parmesan cheese and ancho French fries, queso fundido, and chicken bacon pesto pizza. The fries were so crisp and quite seasoned. Will say they are a go to option whenever I come back. It's nice to find places that serve crispy fries like that. Crispy on the outside, nice and soft inside. It was quite a treat. Queso fundido was a great option because we had a hankering for nachos and this definitely filled the cravings. If you're someone that maybe doesn't do onions, just make sure to ask for no onions. Luckily I'm able to do onions, but you never know if someone has a preference. The cheese and chorizo combo was amazing, and the best part it wasn't greasy or fatty from the cheese. It just looked so clean. The star of the show had to be the chicken bacon pesto pizza. I love a good pizza but my favorite are the out of the ordinary toppings and sauces. They had other amazing options but it's not everyday I can try a chicken bacon pesto pizza. This was a homerun and a half. I definitely recommend this pizza to anyone who wants to try an out of the ordinary combo. The pizza was cooked to perfection and it was fluffy. The cheese was all over the place because, I had an amazing cheese pull! If you're one for cheese pulls, this one's got your number. All in all an amazing experience. I'll come back here again
