The contractor explained that he had not installed the doors because they were scratched. Seeking a solution, I reached out to Orange Mirror and Glass and spoke with Mike. He informed me that the doors should have been installed and later replaced if necessary. Mike promptly scheduled an appointment to take measurements for the new doors. Once the measurements were completed, I visited the showroom to explore available options. Although I originally had two mirrored doors, Mike recommended upgrading to a set of three mirrored glass doors. He explained that this would make the doors lighter and provide easier access to the closet. I agreed with his suggestion, and Mike prepared a detailed proposal, which he sent to me via email. Later that week, I received the proposal and was pleasantly surprised by the price. Orange Mirror and Glass quoted a cost that was 50% less than what my General Contractor had charged. I promptly signed the paperwork and paid half the amount via credit card to proceed with the order. On the day of installation, Orange Mirror and Glass arrived 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled appointment time. I appreciated their punctuality, as it is uncommon for contractors to arrive early. The team removed my old, heavy mirror doors from 1973 and installed the new frameless doors efficiently within approximately 30 minutes. Based on this positive experience, I have decided that Orange Mirror and Glass will be my preferred glass company for all future projects.

They stood by everything they promised during the initial quote. They made sure to properly seal the backing and edges of the mirrors to protect them against moisture. Now, seven years later, the mirrors are still in like-new condition--no black edges, clouding, or deterioration whatsoever. It seemed to be a family owned business. Making a decision on who you are going to give a lot of money to, to do a job on probably your biggest investment is so stressful!! I am so happy I found Mike!! I had no clue the words I needed to use beyond sliding glass door. I now know I decided on a block frame vinyl sliding door. I was interested in Milgard and Amsco. I went with the one that suited our needs the best. Mike is located in Orange County, but came out to Corona to measure for a quote and that was free, I say this because one company wanted to charge for an estimate, I can understand their need, but I am a stay at home mom, not a realtor. He answered all of my ridiculous questions, when he left I was so comfortable and confident that he would do a great job, so I immediately went to the thought "we won't be able to afford him". Later that day I received a quote and moved forward with ordering the door. It's a custom door and took only a couple weeks until it was installed. They did such a fantastic job with the installation! It is solid and clean. The most important thing in anything is craftsmanship and Mike did an excellent job. I switched out french doors for a slider and I couldn't be happier!! I am sitting here now looking out to my backyard finally enjoying the view. An added bonus was his suggestion for a doggie door in the glass of our slider, only because of the location of the slider we didn't go that route, but we did get a doggy door in the screen door for our large labrador retriever and it is a game changer. We didn't want to put one in our wall and this is such a great option. We love it all! He called after to make sure everything was working great and to ask how our puppy likes her new door. I got LUCKY when I chose MOORE REPLACEMENTS to help me with a slight problem. First, I did not purchase my sliding patio door from Moore. (Unfortunately! ) But I came home from work the other day, opened my slider (forgetting that I had a dowel in the track to prevent burglars) it hit the dowel and "boom" my slider was stuck! It would not move! I couldn't open it any more or close it at all! Now I was really worried about burglars!! I called the guy/company that I had purchased the door from and he was out of town and had no one to refer me to! Not very helpful at all!! So I searched on my phone for a window repair company close to me and after a couple of calls where no one answered the phone, I was so happy to call "Moore"! The lady who answered the phone (Susan?) was VERY NICE and SUPER HELPFUL! She had Micheal and another young man come to help me right away! The guys came in (super nice), Michael took 30 seconds to figure out what was wrong and had it fixed in two seconds! I was AMAZED! The problem was that the door had popped off the track so he picked up the door and put it straight back on! (I couldn't budge that door and he picked it right up! Thank God for strong men! ;-)) The BEST part of all...they were only here (maybe) 3-5 minutes BUT...they didn't charge me for the visit!! What?? I couldn't believe it!! There was a leak in my door which is causing rain water to drip into my living room. I called "Moore Replacements" yesterday. Within a couple of hours Freddie adjusted his schedule to stop by and take a look. He gave a few suggestions and gave me an estimate, which was quite reasonable. Since rain was in the forecast he had shown the urgency to fix the issue. Today I got a call from him and I was told that Mike (the owner) would come and take care of it. Mike gave me a call an hour ahead of time and showed up on time. He is such a nice and friendly guy!. He did a very thorough and professional work and advised me on what I need to do as follow up to make it look better and make his work endure for a long time. Not only are these guys friendly but I found them to be very honest and good people. Honest, reliable, reasonable. Moore Replacements is the kind of home repair company every home repair company should be. We believed we needed 11 windows replaced because they would not open properly. Three other companies gave us quotes for replacing all of the windows for thousands of dollars. Mike Moore came out to give us a quote, looked at our work and told us 10 of the 11 windows could be repaired far less than what replacement would cost. He put us in contact with another company since he did not do that kind of work. That's correct - he sent us to someone else because he wanted to do what's best for the customer!!! We had 10 windows repaired by another company, saving us thousands of dollars over replacements. Moore Replacements did replace one window at a very reasonable cost, high quality work and did so in a timely manner. They would be the only company I would call in the future if I needed any work related to windows or screens. read more

My landlord decided to finally replace my sliding door and screen. Mike was recommended by a family member of my landlord. Mike came over right as soon as the landlord gave the okay of his excellent price. I'm not a YELP reviewer but when service is as good as Moore Replacements gave, well I have to do what I can to spread the word. Dealt mostly with Fredy, and if it wasn't fo the powerful rains that came, my closet doors would have been ordered, delivered and installed in less than 3 days! I contacted Moore Replacments to have a dog door installed In a older sliding glass door., he came out and did measurements the next morning, He was very professional, gave recommendations on what needed repair and location of dooor. He doesn't normally come to San Diego as often, he told me, but had another client and added me to his calls. I used Yelp's quote request tool to reach several repair providers about a broken glass panel in my…read moreMilgard fiberglass french door. I described the door specifically and asked for someone experienced with Milgard. This company replied first and told me they work directly with Milgard and handle their repairs all the time, so I had them come out to measure and quote. The technician who came out did not seem familiar with how the door was built. Instead of getting the glass dimensions from the manufacturer or measuring the opening, he tried to pry off the interior trim to take his measurement. He started at the top left corner, in plain sight at eye level, and chipped the door, exposing the white fiberglass underneath. Then he did the same in the other three corners and again partway down the right side. Five spots in all, and he kept going after the first chip had already shown what the prying does. What makes it worse is where the damage landed. The chips are on the door itself, the fiberglass, which cannot simply be swapped out. The trim he was prying against is removable and replaceable, and it came through fine. He damaged the one part that is hard to replace and left the replaceable part intact. On top of that, he could not actually get the trim off, and proposed cutting it off and gluing it back on. The plan to cover the chips became repainting the door, and since it is a french door both panels would need painting to match. They asked me to source the correct Milgard paint myself. Their verbal price was also higher than what the job ultimately cost me, and the formal written quote they promised more than once never arrived. The company I ended up hiring removed the same trim in about 30 seconds, testing first in one discreet spot, with no damage to the door or the trim. That is the difference between a shop that knows this product and one that does not. I have patched the chips myself with epoxy putty and Milgard touch-up paint, but it is only a stopgap. The real irony is that the door now needs a full repaint to look whole again, not because the glass repair called for it, but purely because of the damage done during a visit to measure and quote. The damage was serious enough that I considered small claims court. One star (less if I could).

Since then, communication has been excellent, and the company has replaced our staircase window once again. We are grateful for their responsiveness and willingness to continue working toward a solution. At this point, we are hopeful that the problem has finally been resolved. Because the leak only occurs during heavy rain, we'll need to wait for the next storm to know for sure. If the window performs as it should, I will be more than happy to update my review again to reflect a successful resolution. Thank you to the owner and the team for listening to our concerns and for making the effort to restore our confidence. We are optimistic that this will finally put this six-year issue behind us.

They explained the process before starting and we're considerate when the front door entry was limited access while they had the stucco dry. They also verified the small detail changes in the door handle and had me try the door several times before they left. I was impressed by the end result. When we told him we were not certain about the style of doors for some of the items he urged us to sign the contract to take advantage of the discount and assured us we would be able to update via a change order. Nothing would be ordered until the choices were made and the change order was executed. We have done many remodeling projects over the years and change orders are standard so we had no reason to doubt his assurances. Since then he has overpromised and failed to deliver. Every time we texted or emailed to ask about the change order status he reiterated that it was with the office, everyone was aware, nothing would be ordered and the change order would be sent - tonight, tomorrow, next day...you get the picture. After weeks of waiting for the change order so we could move on the project, we tried to escalate a number of times because based on the reviews we expected better customer service. However, we were told we needed to resolve all the miscommunications and failed follow through with the salesman that had failed to follow through. Imagine our surprise when we got a text that some of the doors were ready for installation. The salesman was shocked as he had told us nothing would be ordered until the change order was signed. In an effort to salvage the project and because we wanted to believe the salesman, we allowed for partial installation. The installation was riddled with additional issues. Wrong hardware, wrong trim, no wood molding around the door. The salesman was apologetic and did not understand why there was a disconnect. After another few weeks of messages, emails and requests to escalate, we finally got confirmation that the salesperson and the director of revenue would come to our home at 2pm on 6/22. They arrived late 30 minutes late (even though my husband had made it clear he was meeting them during his lunch hour) and the director of revenue was defensive and put all blame on the misrepresentations made by their salesman on us. During the meeting the salesman told him that the remaining doors had not been ordered. After that meeting the company STILL had the salesman follow up to ask how we wanted to proceed. He was embarrassed at that point because he was telling us the company would be able to address our concerns and they hung him out to dry. Even though it wasn't our fault, in an effort to put this nightmare behind us and NEVER deal with them again, after a few exchanges with the director of revenue, we agreed to a resolution provided they completed the project by today. No response for over a week until this afternoon when they basically said 'thanks for agreeing to letting us do what we haven't done but keep bending over backwards so we can do it in our terms'. @owner of the company you should step in sooner and not wait for the online reviews to try justifying the experience. For all those that posted 1 star reviews in the last year we should talk about options. Based on your experiences I can tell is not the individual players. It's the company.
