We had the chance to sit in the original dining room, which features beautiful hand-painted murals. The booth cushions are well worn from years of use, adding to the charm and nostalgia of the space. The room itself felt bright, warm, and inviting. Service from Michelle was prompt and friendly, even with the steady pace of the restaurant. We ordered three AYCE pancake and sausage plates, coffees, a kids' pancake, and a maple milkshake. Pro tip: skip sugar and add maple syrup to your coffee. Trust me! I called five minutes later to tell them that we were 3 minutes away and were told that we lost our spot and were placed to the back of the line. When I went to talk to the manager I was given no apology or resolution. I was just told "that it is common knowledge that wait times fluctuate and I'm too busy to worry about your issues." Completely horrible customer service. I recommend one of a dozen other diners in the area.
