Always great food!! Steaks are done to perfection. Excellent service and the staff take pride in their job.

Moose Inn Went here in 5/10/2024 around 1pm... Very nice place to go to. I went with my cousin and we both ordered burgers. She ordered hers with cheese. Mine came up a little rare and I just wanted some pink. Not a big deal, just had them out it back in the veil. We ordered up cheese curds. Normally they do appetizers for dinner but they made some up for us. They were very good. I got fries with my order. Very good, hot and fresh. My cousin got their homemade potato chips. My cousin and I shared and we both liked the chips or fries. I think we both got ice waters to drink. Service was great! This is a great place in Wautoma. They run some great specials for the dinner hour. They are very reasonably priced. Service is very good. Our server(s) We're awesome. Both people that were working kinda helped each other out with serving the good o answering questions about the menu. I needed to use the bathroom. It was clean. The whole place has a great feel to it, laid out nicely.z the bar area had a tv. They were playing one of the hockey play off games. The bar appeared to be well stocked.z Love supporting local businesses. This place does cater. They do a great job. Highly recommended. Looking forward to going to their bbq place in town meet the golf corse. I have heard good things! Until the next review, Steve-O, out!

A wonderful restaurant in the small town of Wautoma, Wi. I had the best Broasted chicken I have ever had. Crispy and juicy. I got without the bbq sauce and my wife got with and both were delicious! Wait staff was attentive and accommodating. A definite stop if you are in the area.

My daughter and her family really enjoyed in December they live in North Cape. However it wasn't a Friday & they had the other Menu. We were disappointed about that. Busy fish night or not! My food was good. However the plastic containers & " slop trays" not right or presentable. Use plates! The room so cramped & a party of 15 in the room so so loud!! Our Waitress was nice attentive and smiled. Ice Cream drink was hood, the Dove, however could hardly taste the booze?? Now, the ladies room yes so small, but the floor was filthy, waste container open and all over floor. Toliet aroundcand behind filthy. I told 3 ladies at the desk about it. Busy day/ night no way has that been cleaned in days! Disgusting My husband want to try again as we live 60 minutes away. I guess but it was definitely not what we expected. Got there, staff in the doorway, some guy carrying silver ware dropped all over the floor. No oops Sorry. We could have fallen. Seemed very disorganized. We had to request table back further as they had us right behind the 15 kids/ adult table. My husband had to remove his hearing aids!! My daughter's treat and she was sooo disappointed.

Lovely spot for takeout of Friday fish fry! All of the food was fresh and quality ingredients. The fish tacos were FANTASTIC - a nice piece of fish and covered in spices. The cod and perch were both lightly battered and crispy on the outside. The french fries, potato salad, rye bread, and coleslaw were all solid extras. Plenty of other sides to choose from: mixed veggies, mashed potatoes, cottage cheese, and soup. A bit pricier than some of the other spots in town, but well worth it for the quality.

We came for lunch. The burger I had ($9) was very basic, but decent. If you like it done medium, you may want to consider ordering it medium rare. It came with a side and I got the cup of clam chowder which made up for the lackluster burger. My wife had the BLTT, which has turkey on it. It was good, maybe a little basic as well, but the bacon was very good, nicely cooked. Pints of Spotted Cow are $5. We sat at the bar but they have nice dining room areas as well.

I don't like writing bad reviews. Our first time here so they deserve a second visit. The old fashion didn't come with any cherries. But it tasted good. The menu listed steaks with no sizes and very little information. You can pick one side to go with your entree. I didn't understand that. You could pick vegetables. That shouldn't be an option at a place like that. I had wild rice. My steak and rice were very bland. Even the au jus was tasteless. So was my husband's. He ordered coleslaw ( which was good ) but it was red slaw and not what he expected. Again nothing on the menu u about what kind of coleslaw. Our waitress was the best. Very kind and answered all our questions. I would have loved to have an ice cream drink ( that they are known for ) but it was way too big for me. I wish they had a smaller sized one as well as the large. We ended up going to DQ after dinner for a small cone. Since we were visiting from out of town I don't know if we will get a chance to try the place again. I forgot to mention if you don't like seafood don't go here. Unless you want a sandwich.

They mix a pretty good drink.

A little off the beaten path, but worth the detour!…read more We missed breakfast and the Bloody Mary bar, but were pleasantly surprised by the rest of the menu. We sat at the bar and had great service. Several tables are available, but all orders were placed at the bar. Overall the atmosphere was very clean and well decorated. You could call it a clean towny bar. Drinks were good, Bloody Mary was pretty standard (would have been better if we made it before the Bloody Mary bar closed). Several beers on tap, and a good variety of liquors. We shared the loaded tater tots, the fried onions stole the show. The portion was large, so we need a carry out container. Then split the wings, price was very reasonable. Wings were crispy and delicious, then came with a "bucket of sauces" - see picture. It was fun to mix and match. Several others around us got burgers, steak sandwiches, etc. Excited to go back to try more menu items, especially breakfast!

I called them and the bartender told me the manager (or owner?) was sitting right there, but he would talk to him and see if there was anything he wanted to do about it. He took my name and number. Apparently he is doing nothing because he never got back to me. We will order from the Ding from now on.

They have big leather swivel chairs that are actually comfy. The bar was very lively on a weekday at 4 pm. Watermelon mojito was one of the best I've ever had , followed it up with a great espresso martini. Ordered the fried clams appetizer which was good but many pieces were so small and thin that they seemed pure batter and no clam. The escargo was covered in a mexi-cheese blend that I found strange at first but tastes delicious- just more like Wisconsin escargo then French . They came with delicious crispy bread bites that we soaked up all the extra cheese and juices. Broccoli cheddar soup was the best I've ever had and absolutely loved the steak medallions with onions and dude of sauce . Steak was perfectly cooked. I loved this place and can't wait to come back

The original bar is in the old darker section - more traditional for a supper club.. We stopped there for some old fashions before dinner - they were solid. Service was very good. We ordered our meals after some tough decision making after snacking on their very tasty warm rolls. I tried their special of crabbed stuff shrimp. Five large shrimp that were very good with a baked potato on the side. My wife got the encrusted salmon and was surprised that it was encrusted in a bread crumb cheese mixture. She really enjoyed it. Our friends got the chicken with pasta and the walleye - two thumbs up. We decided to try their ice cream drinks for dessert. One pink squirrel and one brandy Alexander. Both were good but we have had better and bigger versions at other supper clubs. Prices were typical for a supper club - not cheap.

I would have preferred to show up earlier, as we had no choice to bring our 5 and 3 year old that we were vacationing with. All of the staff were extremely friendly. We ordered the Nueskes bacon appetizer: very giant pieces of bacon. While tasty, it was still a bit fatty and I think I honestly prefer regular bacon. We both ordered a 12 oz Filet mignon. I got the Bleu cheese crust and my husband got the Parmesan crust. It was quite a thick crust on top and definitely added to the experience. While it was quite good, I'm not sure I'd say it was the best steak I've ever had, and certainly didn't seem worth $80. The sides were ginormously portioned, even when we got the half side of mashed potatoes for "two" we didn't finish. While we planned on going out for free dinner with the kids afterward, the kids meal prices were not outrageous so we just ordered their meals at the same time. Both dinners came with fries and fruit, so seemed like a decent value. The cocktails were reasonably priced (around $15 each). I would have liked to try more items, but my husband probably would have lost his cool if we spent even more money. The ambiance is nice, but we spent the majority of the time trying to shush our children and not disturb other guests. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience, but not quite worth the price tag.
