Beware. Cheap can be expensive. We hired them 3 times for 3 jobs. There is a high cost to low price. So here is the deal. The company is owned by a husband and wife team Cherry and Luis. They are recent transplants from Texas and perfectly pleasant to deal with initially. They call you sir and madam and try to accommodate. They seem to have a large staff (mostly their younger family it seemed) of about 12 people and some equipment to do the job. They bid real low, almost half of what others charge but when they arrive it i clear that they often lack the manpower (physical strength) and know-how to get the job done efficiently. Then what happens is they exert more resources to get the job done which leads to fairly unsafe conditions for them and their staff and damage to your home and property. Seeing that the job took them twice as long as they expected they can sometimes change their story and tell you the rate quoted was not a flat fee but rather an hourly as happened with us. Job 1: Move a built in viking refrigerator from the kitchen to the garage. They were given the make, models and dimensions of the item and just needed to move it from one area of the house to another. It took them nearly 2 hours, the item was dropped on it's side and our beautiful hardwood floors were deeply scratched. Job 2: Move Viking Refrigerator to another location. I was not there for this one so I can not attest. Job 3: Move a heavy marble table from my yard into my living room. We agreed to a price of $400 for a rush job (Normally $200 they said but $200 extra for rush). Then the madness happened. They showed up with 12 people huffing and puffing. They spent nearly 1 hour and a half looking at it before they moved it. Then finally they moved it. Placed it crooked on base and bailed. When I came to check I noticed the table was crooked and asked them to send their guys back to put it on straight but they said it would be an additional $200. Now why would I pay $400 to have a table put on crooked? They said the rate was hourly and not flat rate like we had discussed. They changed their story. I gave them every opportunity to correct their mistake but they refused. I think that if they had more margin that they could afford to correct their mistakes but if they don't undercharge they have no way to get the jobs so that leaves them being unable to fix their mistakes when they make them and it leaves customers like me stuck with half arsed jobs. So now I have to pay another company $400 to come and fix their spotty work. Once again low cost has a high price. Sadly I would not use them again or recommend them. It saddens me to leave this review. I wish they would have done the right thing and fixed their mistake. read more

Movers are nice, but a little bit slow... They are late because the previous customer took longer than they expected. They should arrive around 11-12, because of the late they came by four people by 2:30pm and only charge for two people which were around 55per person. That's nice. One lady and 3 men, they are very nice and hard workers. However, it takes 4 hours to move my stuff from Santa Monica to Korean town. Not really much stuff, I live alone. So I suggest you guys to work smarter because at the end, it took 20mins for two man to assemble a bad frame. I'm disappointed because now I found something missing. Just some little stuff and a besom...not expensive, so I don't know where they went and the movers told me they had nothing left in their truck, I'm not saying they took my stuff, it's just feel strange... This has been the best moving service I have got so far. We contacted this team only a day in advance. Cherry and Alex came with two other guys and jump started the move without loosing a second. We were moving from a 2 floor house with some heavy stuff on both the floors. It was no problem for the team. They packed the furniture with packing blankets, wrapped the mattresses with poly sheets and taped any open boxes before loading to the truck. On top of packing and loading into the truck, two guys cleaned our garage and inside area while the others were finishing the loading. We didn't count for this service in our agreement, but the team was kind enough to do that without charging anything extra. It took us less than expected amount of time to load and unload at our final destination. Cherry adds the gas in the labor cost if the distance is small (ours was 21 miles). Wow, punctual, courteous, careful, and boy can they pack a truck TIGHT! I was 110% sure my items were not going to fit in the trailer but they fit them with room to spare! They are a great team that communicate well and are VERY patient with their loading. I had my driver say to me; "in all the time I've been doing this, I've never had a loading team actually USE my straps". They used them all! I'm fairly certain he could drive off a cliff and my stuff would survive. If you're looking for a couple meat heads to throw your stuff into a truck and hope for the beat, look elsewhere. This team is methodical and they take their time to ensure it gets done correctly! And trust me, at their price its worth it! I think we can all agree that, normally, moving is a very stressful and unpleasant experience that few look forward to. Not anymore. I would move everyday with these guys. Cherry and Alex were consummate professionals from beginning to end. Super polite, efficient, and considerate. They came on short-notice, they were on-time, they brought extra guys (free of charge), the team was running (literally-running and jogging) up and down the stairs of our apartment building with boxes, furniture, appliances, all the while: smiling. Every time my husband and I tried to lift a box to help, someone would run over and take it, and implored us to let them do everything. And everything they did... they packed, they securely packaged with their own supplies, they even cleaned our old place with a state of the art machine while we drove over to the new one...and then they unpacked, organized, and cleaned up/broke down boxes at our new home. They even brought US cold drinks and snacks. You would think this level of service would cost extra, but no... they charged less than the other companies I had called. They just genuinely believe and prioritize customer service as their business philosophy. Up until our experience with Moovit4now, I hated moving. I highly recommend this people! I looked and called several moving companies... I did my homework! I used Craigslist, Yellow Pages, Yelp and asked friends. I got all kinds of prices and answers. Some, were telling me it would take all day if not more... Some would give me prices that where high I had almost decided to try to do it on my own... Until I called Moovit4now! From the moment they answered the phone I felt that this company was different... The lady's name was Cherry. She was very pleasant to talk to. When I explained my ordeal she reassured me that they would do everything I needed and would try to doing in the time frame I gave them. I was even more surprised when they showed up on time and had a fast and happy pace! Yes, they moved fast and did in a way that made it very professional and I didn't feel pressured. They brought blankets and dollies and wrapped the furniture and even my delicate electronic equipment with plastic. That was a nice touch! That day was very hot and they brought a cooler with all types of Sodas and water which they shared with us. The price was much better than most other companies. So no need to worry about that. Their work is fast and efficient. So, what else could I ask for in a moving Company? They also mentioned that they do staging which means you can have your furniture and things be set up for you where you want it. Very important detail for some people. I've moved 4 times in the last 5 years and the recent move with Moovit4Now was the best by far. Cherry and Alex were great with scheduling and keeping me updated with the move. Irving was extremely nice and he and the crew moved fast and efficiently. The only thing that broke during the move was one of the legs from my desk but everything else was in tact because they wrapped everything well with shrink wrap and blankets. Worst company ever. I had to order a second truck on move-in day they quoted $108.88 per hour but when the second truck arrive the driver told me it would be $128 because it was a second truck. They take everything apart and charge you for the extra boxes and tape they use, they charged me over $600 for tape and boxes. They broke my China cabinet door, dented my new refrigerator, broke the leg on my jewelry box and scratched paint off of my bed and dresser. Then told me they did not do any of it. Then they unloaded one truck and demanded the full payment of $2300 before they unloaded the second truck. They did not take a check or debit card they wanted cash I had to run around to different ATMs and borrow money for $2300. They did not tell me Ahead of time of the total cost meanwhile they just sat around waiting until I gathered the money before they unloaded the second truck it took me about an hour to get all of their money then at 7 o'clock they told me that they ran out of time and now I will have to pay overtime. This was another $110 per hour. Before that I fed them breakfast and I fed them lunch. Worst company ever don't use them. They take it vantage of your vulnerability. They put you in an uncomfortable situation they don't tell you their debit machine doesn't work. They didn't tell me the total cost until they only unloaded one truck. I asked if they could start unloading the second truck while I get the money, they said NO. They waited until I got back, paid them and the 2 guys in the first truck left, leaving 2 guys in the second truck to unload it which took longer because 4 guys unloaded the first truck.Horror is what I experienced, horrible company to work with. The Moovit4now crew is amazing. Fantastic. Just plain great. There aren't enough stars I can give them. These guys deserve at least 10! This is customer service at its very, very best! I needed help moving two fridges within the building the very same night and they said they'd take care of it. They called to say they were on their way, were on time and absolutely lovely. Since the guy that was supposed to come was stuck at another job that had turned out to be bigger than the client had let on, Cherry came with Joshua and even Luis, the manager, joined them. They really went above and beyond to help me and get this job done. They got my fridge out of my tiny kitchen - a job the delivery people from Best Buy were not able to do when they brought my new, smaller fridge. Those guys even said the fridge would have to be lifted over the counter. Well, thank God the crew from Moovit4now was smarter. After Moovit4now got out the old fridge, they put my new fridge in its correct spot (since the Best Buy delivery people had dropped it off it had been standing in my tiny hallway). Moovit4now also brought the old fridge to my neighbor one floor above me and took out her old one which will be picked up by someone else. Both apartments, my neighbor's and mine, are small studios. So a lot of wiggling and cleverness was needed to get this done. And there was nobody better for this job than Cherry and her team. Amazing! They know what they're doing. You cannot be in better hands. They didn't even let us clean the spaces ourselves or carry some of the parts (the doors of my old fridge had been taken off) which would have been totally fine. I don't care what anyone says, moving is the most stressful time in a person's life. About a month ago, my girlfriend and I hired this company to load a moving truck destined for Seattle. I was crippled by anxiety the likes of which I have never felt before nor hope to feel ever again. The two gentlemen who came were angels sent from above. Not only were they able to fit an absurd amount of stuff into the truck with only minor damage but they also continually checked on my wellbeing as I was literally curled up in a corner hyperventilating. These guys were part trauma counselor and part crime scene cleanup. I would recommend this company to anyone, just do yourself a favor and buy all the tie-downs, furniture pads, tape, and shrink wrap you need from Harbor Freight and you can save a boatload on supplies. read more

This is a long review - short response is "hire this company for your moving needs!" What an incredible company to work with! I was faced with a monumental job of disassembly and move of a Tuff Shed 10x12 shed. This is a massive shed! After posting an add on Craig's, I received a text from Ms Cherry introducing the company. After an exchange of texts and calls (greatly appreciated patience on her part) to ensure they could move the shed we agreed to a date and time. This was an emergency move and Cherry made sure it would happen (sending additional men to help!) and keeping me informed the entire time. Also, Alex and his crew could not have been more professional and efficient! He called several times to let me know they were stuck in traffic (common SoCal issue) and once on site started immediately. More impressive, if it possible to exceed the professionalism, was the speed in which they worked - never was there someone standing around - even to the point of running to and from the truck to gather tools or ladders. At 8pm Cherry called, again, to check on progress and to ensure I was happy! Wow! She new this was a time critical move and wanted to make sure it happened as much as I did.
